Great place for cheap quick thin crust pizza. Love how you can choose whatever toppings you want and it’s still one set price. The vibe of the place is really cool, I like how trendy and modern it is. Great service too. And most importantly, their milkshakes are excellent!

Having grown up in Chicago I was raised on some of the best pizza in the world. My first time at MOD I was not sure what to expect because it is, after all, a chain restaurant. I ordered online for pickup. The online ordering process was very easy. However, I recommend they add a spot for leaving a tip, if desired. I ordered a Mega Mod with a number of toppings and an order of garlic strips. The great thing about MOD is that you can add as many toppings as you want without additional cost, so the whole order with tax was about $ 15.00. The pizza was light in spite of all the toppings I ordered. Everything was fresh and delicious. What kept me from giving a four star rating was the fact that I only received ½ container of sauce for the garlic strips. Not even enough for 2 strips. Otherwise, I’ll be back!

The service was excellent! The guy behind the counter convinced us to upgrade our mini to a shareable MOD pizza with no guilt trip, just facts. The pie is big enough for two adults, especially if you double up on the meats and veggies. We also ordered a mini salad which was served in the metal bowl it was made.(FYI– They skip this perk during rush hour and serve it in the to go containers.) The quality of the food was excellent and the service is spectacular for the price. It is a must visit local joint. As a franchise they are expanding quickly so soon there should be a MODs near you. Fixed price includes all toppings. Go crazy and enjoy!

I love going to this place and I’ve never left unsatisfied. I get to pick whatever I want and however much I want on my pizza and will always have a couple slices leftover. I feel like all the ingredients and toppings are always fresh. Everyone is always nice and greets me in and say bye on the way out. I always try to stay away when it’s prime dinnertime as it’ll most likely be busy and probably be a ten-minute or longer wait. Oh and this place is probably my favorite place to get a salad as just like the pizzas, I can customize it however much I want and I’ll leave with a salad that is good enough for two meals. Value — 5* Food– 5* Customer Service — 5* Ambience — 5* This is a place I’ll go to regularly and strongly reccommend.

Being a pizza lover, I don’t know how I have never heard of this place before. We were in the area getting our wedding rings cleaned and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. First impressions. I like the aesthetic. They have booths, high tables and low tables. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It’s a create your own style place, but they also have some preconfigured options, a seasonal and employee favorite. They encourage modifying, and have lots of topping options. There are 3 sizes, mini/mod/family. They have breadsticks, cinnamon breadsticks, you can do a salad-needless to say, lots of options. We each got a ‘mod’ sized pizza. My husband did the Mad Dog and added onions. I got the Lucy Sunshine, swapped the Parmesan for feta and the red sauce dollop for pesto. Soooooooo good. It was a good size. I ate about half of mine and he ate most of his. I like leftovers :) It has a thin crust, wasn’t burnt on the bottom and you can tell they’re hand made because it wasn’t a perfect circle. Drinks. They have fountain soda, homemade lemonades and iced teas, beer, cider, Boylons bottled and milkshakes with delicious sounding mix-ins. I have the blackberry lemonade and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever had. Needless to say, this place is awesome. The food was awesome, the service was awesome. Even the bathroom was nice! I know where we are going next time we’re craving pizza!

We had no idea this place existed and was referred by a friend. The pizza comes in 2 sizes, small for those of us watching our calories and large for the bigger guys. The dough is thin yet has substance. You are able to pick any sauce and toppings to your liking. I love that you can have pesto vs. The traditional red sauce. The staff is wonderful in building your pizza to your exact specifications. All the ingredients are fresh and they have basil and cilantro which adds a wonderful flavor to the pesto sauce. The environment is welcoming, clean and friendly for a truly fun family dining experience. This is our new favorite pizza place that we will frequent on a weekly basis. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love MOD pizza! The staff is amazing and the build your own pizzas and salads are absolutely delicious! I love that they have beer options and they have the best ice! Sounds crazy, but it’s true!

I went to MOD Pizza for the first time a few weeks ago. I did not have high expectations since it is the style of Subway/Chipotle(two chains I do not like). And my low expectations were met. I ordered a Mad Dog pizza and it was not even cooked all the way through. The crust was flaccid and the toppings are not high quality. I love all types of pizza — thin, thick, Chicago — you name it. But no matter the style — the crust needs to be cooked all the way through. I may try a salad at some point — but I would not bother with the pizza again. I love pizza and if I am going to eat such a high calorie food — it better be really good. However, I added a star for the super delicious marionberry lemonade. I would go back just for the lemonade.

To speak to the brand, they have a great concept. They’re following the Chipotle build-your-own, fast casual model. The pizza is reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. The broad selection of ingredients is fresh. To anyone that thinks this is still a Washington-only chain, they have not been to the MOD website lately. They are spreading all over the country. And that’s not a bad thing! They do have some serious competition from other fast casual pizza chains, so it should be interesting to see what chain takes the lead in that race. The bad news is: I have been to this particular location several times, and I am not kidding when I tell you that my order has been wrong 50% of the time. Luckily they have gladly let me keep the incorrect pizza and made a new one without hesitation. But when they get the order wrong they have no way of going back to the original order since it was written on a piece of paper that was already discarded. So you have to verbally tell the staff remaking the pizza what you ordered. Once it even came out wrong a second time. At that point, I just ate the incorrect pizza, because I don’t feel like taking the time to explain the breakdown in their system. I haven’t been in a ton of other MODs, but this one could use some better spot cleaning during dinner. There are a lot of kids that come through, so it gets an understandable amount of trash and food on the floor, but I never see anyone cleaning it.

I’m giving this place 5 Stars. Not only is their pizza terrific but their employee, I think her name was Jocelyn, was so friendly and helpful I would go back there even if their pizza wasn’t incredible.

We used to like the pizza, but lately they’ve started skimping on toppings even after repeated asks for more. Almost like the cost for toppings comes from their hourly wage. Plus, the quality control is terrible. People eat as much with their eyes as they do their mouth. If a pizza doesn’t look good, don’t serve it. It’s less about pizzas your way and more what they’ll give you. Disappointed, but not surprised when the pizzas came out looking like crap. So mad. I guess mod means moderate toppings AND quality.

It makes me so happy to see how MOD is growing! A place where the food is fresh, the staff is happy and the drinks are amazing! I now have a ring of Mods around my neighborhood, and I couldn’t be happier. My son and I came here with a gift certificate given to us by a friend, and we were excited to see this Mill Creek location. As usual, we were greeted by the pizza artisans when we walked in the door, and we’re immediately impressed with the open airiness of the floor plan. Of course, there were the MOD accouterments — wall of stickers, photos and plenty of seating. I already knew what I wanted; a MOD Maddy(basic cheese pizza, or as I like to call it, the base pizza. I added artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and Gorgonzola cheese. I noticed roasted Brussels sprouts after I completed my order, and vote to try them next time. I must say, if you don’t like thin crust, this may not be for you, but beyond that, if you don’t like the pizza, it’s not the restaurant’s fault, because you choose your own toppings. From prep counter, right into the wood fired oven, the pizza is made right in front of your face. But, let’s talk about the beverages now. Beverages are plentiful — a selection of teas and lemonades — I am addicted to the caramelized pear iced tea, and cannot get enough. But this time, I decided to start with the marion raspberry lemonade. YUM! I bet it would be great mixed with the plain iced tea. Must try that next time! I also want to say the ice is my favorite kind. It’s the fine, more chewable kind, rather than the cubes. THAT is why this will be my MOD of choice. Our pizza arrived, and was gorgeous. I was so enthralled with my pizza that I didn’t see what my son ordered, but I know he inhaled it. My pizza was amazing — perfectly baked with an amazing marriage of flavors! All in all, this is the best of the chain. Clean, well-managed and fast are key words to describe this place. The staff is sooooooo friendly and welcoming! Oh yeah, and they laugh at my usually bad puns! So, for amazing pizza, out of this world beverages and great service, this is where you want to go!

A Portlander here for another month on business, I decided to give this new MOD Pizza location a try. Ordered online on a rainy Friday night and walked down from the hotel to retrieve my dinner. They had lost my order, but the way they responded completely won me over. The gentleman I checked in with looked for my order, couldn’t find it, told me so with zero excuses, apologized and said they would have it remade for me in six minutes. I think it was more like ten, but watching them all work was a treat. They were ROCKING it. Friday night, full house, young staff(both in age and the location is new) and it was a pleasure watching them working as a team and keeping their cool in the chaos. Back to the hotel and wow — this pizza is GOOD. Like, really good. And the salad is fresh and delicious. Way to rock it MOD Pizza Canyon Park. I know what it’s like to open a new location and you guys are kicking bootie. Keep on doin’ what you’re doin’. I’ll be back soon!

I’m so glad MOD has taken off. There are locations all over now! This was my first MOD. I miss the regular pizza but I am glad they have a gluten free option. For GF it’s great but it’s still not as good. I love that you can do as many toppings as you like for the same price. It lets you have a lot more fun making flavor combos. Long live MOD!

Hello MOD current and future customers, So I went here with of course, my hubby, on a day where we had no electricity. This place was filled with happy employees and a jolly atmosphere. The ONLY problem we had was figuring out the menu. There were so many options to choose from. Either it’s a regular or a custom made. Just make it clear on the menu board! So we decided on a custom made and a regular pizza, which turned out really good. The best one was the custom pizza. I would recommend for going with the MOD pizza, made on demand pizza– literally.

We were looking for a place to have brunch for Mother’s Day. We decided to come over here since we have heard a lot of great reviews but haven’t really tried it. STAFF: We got here exactly the time they opened which was 10:30. We were greeted by this lovely lady. She was cheerful and full of energy. She even told us that we won a million dollar reward for being their first customer that day. She was really great, especially when she found out that it was our first time. When I went to the counter to get my pizza, the lady even offered to cut it into 8 slices because she knew I was gonna share it with my 3 year old-talk about great customer service! FOOD: Since it was our first try on the place, we decided to «make our own» pizza. I had the mod size with red sauce, mozzarella cheese, regular bacon, pineapple, onions, Italian sausage — and more mozzarella cheese. Husband had the mod size as well with red sauce, canadian bacon, mozzarella, olives and asiago cheese. For our drinks I had Strawberry milkshake and husband had soda. The wait was not long at all, it was about 3 minutes when both our pizza were done. Our pizza was the bomb! The crust was cooked to perfection. Even the milkshake was great! OVERALL: We love our first trip to Mod pizza for sure. They also gave me my food and drink for free because it’s Mother’s day! Score!

The customization here is awesome! Unlike any other pizza place, the pizzas here are designed to feed one person, and you pick what you’d like on your pizza like you would in a sub sandwich line. It’s kind of neat to completely customize it… hence the name, MOD. The service here has always been cool. Everyone has a lax attitude and chill vibe. It makes for a personable experience. They also have some good(but limited) beers on tap.

So disappointed with mod pizza the last three weeks. Week one the phones were not working on a Friday evening for them to take orders. stood in line for over a half hour to order then another half hour to get our pizza. Week two on a Friday night I called to place my order and was hung up on. Last night which is also a Friday and week three with a problem, I ordered pesto on top of my pizza no pesto my husband ordered a Maddog and got tomatoes on his(does a mad dog come with tomatoes now?) ***** we order the same thing every Friday night and pay more for our pizza(than a lower end chain) and I expect it to be done right just as you only except the amount of money you charge. Everyone makes mistakes but three weekends in a row??? Come on now! Six person family who goes to your restaurant every Friday … If you don’t get it right that’s a ton of money you are going to miss out on.

This was my first time at MOD. My husband said I had to try the pizza. Base pizza with all the add ons you want… what?! I got the ‘Ulysses’ seasonal MOD with no additions. It was fantastic. My husband came with some concoction that started as the ‘dominic’. His was great too(I got one bite). My kids have egg and dairy allergies, which completely limits our pizza selection, especially dining out. There is no egg and we were able to bring our own non-dairy cheese. My kids said that this place is better any other pizza they’ve had. They kept saying ‘this is the best.’ It looks like we’ve got ourselves a new pizza joint.
