Food ordered came after 1 hour and 5 minutes. We had to ask for utensils. Ordered the linguini and clams — half of the clams were closed. Service staff too comfortable and making excuses for slow service. In fairness to management, Kim the manager came to our table — did some damage control — she apologized; cut 25% of the the bill and handed us a $ 25 gift card.

The drinks were made well, mine had fresh orange juice, the filet was perfect and reasonable, nice outdoor dining.

What Happened? I’ve always enjoyed the burgers and steaks at Stonebridge but lately there is something wrong. They just don’t have the same taste and the steaks are tough. Is there a new chef? I think I’ll take a break for a while from what was one of my favorite places to eat. The last 3 or 4 times have been a disappointment.

The seafood pot pie and downtown chicken salad was delicious. The restaurant is in a elegant old building on the water. We made reservations, but called to see if we could come earlier. This was fine, since the restaurant was barely half full. Service was friendly but very slow, which could have been overlooked. My friend and I drank hot tea with lemon. We were offered herbal or Lipton, and we both chose Lipton. She came back and offered a second refill, which we accepted. When the bill came, we were charged TWELVE dollars for the four cups of hot tea. We questioned the waitress and she said they charge BYTHETEABAG. We are not from Connecticut, but we asked at the hotel front desk and this is not typical. Lipton tea bags cost 1 – 3 cents a bag and even higher end teas are at a max of 30 cents a cup! This was upsetting enough to knock off a star or two. It was a great meal, but the Riverview Bistro was better service with free refills.

Delicious. Bottomless brunch excellence. Dennis was out server. He’s fabulous. We had a large party and he was very attentive. Made my friend’s birthday brunch perfect! I’m gluten free and I got the breakfast nachos. So bangin!

Had the swordfish and ordered a small plate with a crab cake. My coworker ordered chili. He said the chili was delicious. The crab cake was good but the swordfish was with mashed potatoes and they were very gritty and not very good overall. The service was questionable at best. I asked my waiter and another waiter for a carafe of water and ended up getting it myself from the bar.

Really enjoy the live music on Friday nights. Le Mixx is a must hear group. I feel that the crowd is light. .. Maybe due to the high priced drinks. Stopped in last night around 10. No table service was offered even though waiters were walking around, real turnoff. Had an unwelcoming feeling.

Stopped in on a recommendation for lunch and I am glad I did. The seafood salad is one of the best I have ever had. I would truly recommend Stonebridge for lunch and the comfortable setting. Light and airy. I will definitely be back

This is a real treat. Nice indoor, outdoor, or almost outdoor surround glass enclosed bar/dining area. Polite, friendly staff and excellent food. The calamari was mixed with a few vegetables and perfectly cooked. The oysters done with bacon and anisette were amazing. I had the blackened scallop salad that was light and filling, and loaded with scallops. Drinks were well made and dessert was necessarily skipped.

My boyfriend Dan right again with his on point suggestion to eat here last Saturday night. Even though we arrived late, around 930, they seated us outside along the marsh and our waitress was lovely and provided excellent service. We really enjoyed the margaritas which are made with the Ripe brand mix. I had the seafood paella and Dan had the lobster grilled cheese — both redonkulously yummy. We stayed long enough that they started playing music and clearing out tables for what ended up being a thriving nightlife scene. Really fun night out!

Stop here occasionally mainly because they have good outside seating. Food is so-so. Drink prices too high for the area. Found out they have a child killer as bouncer. Won’t be back for quite a while.

I will never return to Stonebridge Restaurant in Milford, CT even though the food was good and the wait staff was courteous and pretty attentive. My girlfriend and I went just this past Wed evening to get their«lobster special» [discounted lobster dinner for X number of Wednesdays throughout the summer]. First of all, they have no prices on their drink menu, and for very good reason, because they charge midtown Manhattan prices for cocktails in Milford, CT. Knowing that, alcohol wouldn’t have been ordered, or at least not drinks. And to top it all off, the drink wasn’t even that good, being WAY too sweet to be a booze drink. Secondly, we waited about an hour for out food to come out. Our reservation was for 730 and we didn’t leave until nearly 9. It’s not like we ordered something complex or anything, we ordered pretty much what everyone else in the restaurant was having… so it should have been ready relatively quickly in my eyes. Third, and lastly, while we were waiting an hour for our food to arrive, we stepped outside to smoke a cigarette,(which we told our server), and while we were gone, they cleared our table of our drinks which were all half full(the busboy probably thought we had eaten already since we’d been there so long at that point, though there weren’t any dishes). To top THAT all off, when the check came, they didn’t take the drinks that they had thrown out off the bill. And the cherry on top of this crap sundae is that they charged my gf $ 2.50 for a club soda!(That also never got drunk). So, in conclusion, I would not recommend going to Stonebridge Restaurant on Daniel St unless you want to pay exorbitant amounts of money for a so so atmosphere, food that is good, but not great, and nice wait staff(though they might throw away all your stuff and charge you for it anyway). Hopefully this will help people avoid the pitfalls that the love of my life and I slammed head first into.

If the discount warehouse wine list isn’t enough to put you off, then try the food. Ordering the overcooked lobster roll special was a critical error. The seafood pot pie could boast a reasonably tasty sauce, but the challenge of getting different varieties of shellfish to the same level of doneness proved to be too difficult — the scallops were the consistency of mushy peas. Service was poor as well, as our server was completely new and untrained. Pity to let such a nice location go to waste.

This was my second time here. The first being for a baby shower. Other than the fact that they wouldn’t let you take home your food — I very much liked the experience and wanted to return. A year later I finally got around to it! The space is clean with simple elegant décor, high ceilings and lots of room. This is a place where you do not have to hear conversations around you. I usually do not indulge in the bread but this day I did — and it was a mistake! Because it was so good! My husband and I both had burgers — he got sweet potato fries and I got the truffle fries!!! Mmmmmmmm my fries were so good! The presentation of the burgers was very nice. The wine selection was awesome and so was our waitress. It has great outdoor seating and a view that I forgot to mention and a private parking lot to boot! You will not be disappointed here.

Poor customer service. Our friends have been here several times but will never go here again. We were here with our families and the lady at the front refused to serve my friend that was 40 years old because he didn’t have his ID. It was Father’s Day and he has grey hair and kids. Awful.

Stonebridge is one of my favorite places for a casual dinner or grabbing a quick bite before a band :) the nachos are heavenly and i adore the cheeseburger flatbread. Its all the deliciousness of an awesome cheeseburger without all the extra bread. Clam chowder is also very delicious –and thats saying a lot coming from me, since i dont like clams! The crab cakes are also divine!!!

We came on a beautiful June day for brunch and sat outside. The bottomless mimosas are worth it. Our waitress was attentive and on the spot with refills. I had the lobster and brie scramble. It was delicious. I would recommend making a reservation, as it can get crowded.

So to start, awesome Bacon. Went with the breakfast nachos with a little advice from the waitress but it wasn’t what I thought. Even though It was not what I was expecting and more on the side of a baked potato stew/soup instead of a skillet it was still good. My girlfriend got eggs to eat and the Bloody Mary bar which she enjoyed. Not many food accessories(no olives) just bacon and celery.

Downtown Milford Staple. Nothing better than under the tent all summer long. Good pours on the drinks. Great Bar Vibe. Live music often. Sunday Brunch. You can’t go downtown Milford and not stop at «The Bridge»!
