This is not a professional establishment. One of the cooks is excellent, but the owner is often out of their typical food or beer. More seriously, our car had a serious hit and run(2k) in their parking lot, the owner took 30 days to review their surveillance video, before we reported it to the police… our mistake, their lack of customer care. Recently I was threatened and assaulted there, this time I contacted the police right away. A few days later, me and my wife were served w/some sort of mickey mouse restraining order from the owner. We enjoyed going there, and were voted best customers last year, by the staff. I’ve owned 3 businesses, so I understand how to run a business… they should have contacted the police when their customers get violent. Many other people would have sued.

Like most pubs and restaurants they come out of the gate strong and never seem to keep up the good work much like this sad EXCUSE for a pub/eatery. Poor service and inexperienced help. Will be the downfall of this establishment. Several meals several disappointments. Seems like all they have on their menu is take it or leave it if you don’t like it get the hell out. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this on bar rescue. The bartenders don’t 10bar The Kooks can’t cook in the cleaners don’t clean. Why anybody would spend their time or money at this place would be beyond my wildest imagination good luck if you dare to try this disappointment

Been going here often lately with my buddy who works there on occasion. Good food & everyone is really nice here. Good if you want to go and listen to some live local music, watch the game and get some good food. Recommended.

We have been in twice now and both times have had a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend their Shaka’s Burger or Greek Kabobs! French fries are crisp and seasoned. Waitstaff is attentive and friendly. I didn’t find it to be loud, however remember this is a «bar» and customers who have sipped adult beverages may request the music to be turned up. NOTYOURTYPICALROADSIDEBAR It’s our new favorite spot!

Shaka’s Bar & Grill is a cozy local roadside restaurant and bar located at the signalized intersection of Route 101 and Wilton Road, across the road from the Irving Circle K. This place was formerly Malarkey’s Bar & Grill. Enter through the side of the building, walking past the bar area. The place has a full bar in the center surrounded by several high top tables along the windows and there are a few TVs to watch, but music from Rock 101 blasts through the speakers. The bar serves up cocktails and carries a handful of popular beers on tap including Bud Light, Sam Adams, Red Hook IPA, Henniker Brewing, and Angry Orchard Hard Cider(gluten-free), as well as bottles. They serve lunch and dinner offering American style pub fare including appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, lighter fare, soups, salads, chili, pizzas, fried seafood, and comfort dishes(kabobs, pasta dishes, steak tips, BBQ pulled pork, stir fry, orange ginger chicken). The prices here are fair, most sandwiches priced under $ 10 and most entrees $ 8-$ 15. Specials are posted on the board. Happy Hour is offered Mon-Fri 4PM-7PM with select $ 5 apps and $ 1.00 off bottles & $ 0.50 off drafts. I stopped at Shaka’s very recently. The place was very loud with Rock 101 blasting through the speakers and an NFL game on the TVs. There were several customers/bikers at the bar. I took a seat at an open table with bartender gave me a menu and took my drink order, a Diet Coke($ 2.25). I went with the Fried Seafood Combo($ 13.99), which was a plate fried haddock nuggets, sea scallops, and small shrimp. fries and cole slaw, tartar sauce on the side. The fried seafood had a fishy odor coated with a crunchy corn meal breading, not greasy. The fries with skins were hot and crispy and seasoned with salt and black pepper. The cole slaw was creamy and crunchy with chopped cabbage and carrots. The portion of food was just right, enough to finish in one visit. Overall, the food was pretty decent and the place was very noisy from the music. The service was adequate as the solo bartender took care of the entire dining area including bar and high top tables. This is a standard roadside bar & restaurant in NH.
