We found this hidden gem a couple years ago when we moved here. We’re obsessed with the chicken saltamboca without mushrooms. Even our 6yr old is infatuated with it and takes the leftovers to school. Love the waitresses. Love the bartender. Love the atmosphere. Most of all we love the food ! It’s our go to spot in Milford.

Traditional fare, and I like the friendly service.

A place for reasonably-priced food. Pizza is good, parmesans get the job done, and they have offers for diners who want to eat there.

Not overly impressed, and I’m not liking the review posted by Debbie M. I wasn’t there so I don’t know what happened but I don’t see any reply from the owner here to at least help balance my understanding. My wife and I have been here on several occasions. Not overly impressed. «Sorrento» pizza is good. Beer on tap not cold. Had to send it back for a bottle instead. Service is slow when it’s not even a busy time. Coffee is NOT a bottomless cup. Place needs a good cleaning… just look at the blades on the ceiling fans !(Lowe’s sells a special brush for this purpose) and less clutter in the corners. Monthly rabbit dinner is bothering to us and probably to others I would imagine… some kids do have rabbits for pets. Should at least take the sign down.

Made a take out order on 12÷26÷15. Ordered some stuffed mushrooms, pizzas and a pasta dish. Mushrooms had very plain stuffing, usually my favorite at other restaurants. Pizza was like cardboard, pasta was bland, bread was over cooked. i can get a better pizza at cumberland farms in Medway. Will never go back.

We came here regularly when the quality of the food balanced out the offensiveness of the staff. Well that’s changed the last two times. The staff is just as rude and incompetent as ever. The food, on the other hand, took a turn for the worse. The pasta was over cooked last time. This time The chicken parm seemed like someone just dipped it in salt. The veal francese tasted great if you could get past the leather consistency.

This is one of our««go to» places. The waitresses are very friendly. We have very specific requirements and they’re never a problem. We eat here at least once a week and have been doing so for a couple of years. The wait staff knows the menu and what’s good on a particular night. They’ve always been willing to let us know what they think and they’ve never steered us wrong!

My daughters Eggplant parm was rubbery, my veal parm was good, my wife’s lasagna average. Don’t bother with the Caesar salad, it is not home made dressing, nor was the balsamic dressing on my wife’s salad. Dining area was very warm.

The pizza is consistently delicious– hubby and I will order it for takeout. We have sat at the bar as well, and split the calamari– which was so-so. The stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. I’ve only had dinner here a couple of times but I remember the eggplant and lasagna were both delicious, with generous portions. I found the bartender to be great– friendly, focused, attentive. And once again, I must say, the pizza is just divine.

Excellent bartender who makes the best espresso Martinis in Milford(with real espresso). Must have is the bruschetta.

So this is my go to regular old school italian food. Tuscan bread salad is good as well as their white bean escarole. I’ve had just about every appetizer on their menu. Stuffed mushrooms are good. Calamari is decent but I get it without the peppers. The bartender Karen knows my drink and my glass is never empty. A great place for a regular hang out and to see the locals. One of my favorites!!!

Been coming here for a while. Food is mediocre. We like sitting at the bar and have a beer or two. Must say that the bartender is very rude and never smiles and treats us like«SHIT» every time we walk in. I was told she does this to everyone that sits at the bar. Well, on this particular visit, the bar was almost packed with a few seats in between patrons. We were ask to move over a seat to allow, I figured, one person to sit down. I willingly moved. Well within moments, that three highly intoxicated men came strolling in and then it all started. So, apparently Karen, oops, I said her name, knew they were coming in. They were loud, obnoxious, and crude. I told the bartender, «I moved over for this?» She tried to quiet them down without no avail. Karen then turned to me and gave me the«middle finger» and yelled at me «It’s a fucking bar!» I was astonished by her professionalism! I went to speak to the owner, Louie, all he could say was, «There is nothing I can do?» WTF! Fired her! Or at least reprimand her, something. The bottom line is what would have happened if it were two males saying or doing this? One word comes to my mind-BRAWL! Very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Love this place. Been coming most Friday nights with my wife and 2 young boys. Some people complain it’s too noisy, but we love the commotion(nobody can hear my kids iPad) free wifi is a requirement for me now. It’s really not that noisy, just a bunch of people talking, laughing and enjoying themselves. The food though is really exceptional. I’ve tried several dishes and although there were a few misses I’ve settled on a couple favorites. I’m no expert on Italian food but the pasta dishes are loaded with oil and garlic which I love. Everything so fresh. Chicken margarita with angel hair I’ve ordered literally a dozen times and it has never disappointed. Whatever pizza my kids have left over I eat the next day cold. It’s really great pizza. Always end with an expresso. Service is excellent. I love living in milford and spending my money here.

Best authentic Pizza, the Antipasto is amazing… Eggplant Parm is incredible… the Owner and the Staff are old school and a refreshing change from any of the Blah Blah Chain Restaurants.

Unilocal as we go… In searching for something different near work — I passed by Café Sorrento and it had a great review about their chicken francaise — which I crave daily. So I turned around, went in — only to find their limited lunch menu. Guinness is a but under temperature(I can tell because it always goes down faster) and is served in a Coors light glass. I’m not a huge Guinness snob — but I do appreciate a LITTLE consistency. The place is old and run down looking — but so far the bartender seems upbeat and personable. Though the crackers had turned, the soup was reminiscent of homemade. Didn’t need salt or pepper — had hearty veggies and a few good sized pieces of chicken. Could have done with more pasta but it was a nice start. The warm rolls were a nice touch too. Steak tips and pasta. Tips cooked well with some hints of char. I don’t think they do much seasoning(could be why the server asked if I wanted A1) but they are good. Pasta is a decent sized side portion. I’d like to think it’s homemade marinara but it’s awfully close to store bought taste. All in all — food was decent and I was in and out with 30 mins for lunch… but I won’t crave it. Likely fairly popular with the locals but not for me.

First time here and I was absolutely not impressed. Went with 5 other people, and after we all ordered she brought out one plate within 5 mins, the other plate 5 mins later after that. Then waited 30 mins for the 3rd plate to be brought out, then another 10 mins for the last 3 plates to be brought out. When we ordered out beers we would get them 5 – 10 mins later and there was no more then 10 people in the place so it wasn’t a situation where they were swamped. More importantly the food was absolutely not worth the wait. Very bland and cheap. This is the perfect place if you’re just gonna hang at the bar but based on my first experience would not recommend the sit down.

Haven’t been here in ages, being a local — this place has gone through a major upgrade outside. The margarita pizza I ordered was fantastic and the espresso martini had a real shot of espresso in it.(Most places put a coffee syrup of some sort, this martini is authentic). Café Sorrento has gotten lively and the outdoor bar/patio area is fantastic! Impressed.

This restaurant has been a fixture in Milford for as long as I can remember! And, just as many years as said eating establishment has been around equals how many different experiences you can expect to have if you frequent this eatery on multiple occasions!
The issue that hits you when first coming through the door is the noise level, what with the bar patrons trying to out-talk one another, the intermittent live singer/dj/karaōke person and the general feeling of being in a tight quarters, you have a hard time concentrating on what to order and how to enjoy it! My last meal at this restaurant was chicken picata and while the chicken was cooked well and it was quite tasty, the pasta side dish was covered in watery red sauce and the salad was a disappointment, plain, wilting lettuce and tomatoes and poor service with a waitress that acted like she was short on patience and kindness. I won’t be returning.”

The food was good and that’s where it ends. Our waitress never smiled and even rolled her eyes at us at one point. This could Be overlooked if not for the fact that the owner came over and told us «I could really use your table» after we had literally JUST paid seconds before. It was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant in my life… There wasn’t even anyone waiting to sit and there were other open tables!!! Appalling doesn’t even begin to describe. We will NEVER be going back.

Good pizza, enjoyed the Hawaiian Awesome service. Cool location and bar atmosphere w/live entertainment. 1st time I walked in they had some nice Italiano Frankie Sinatra pumping, I was like wow, they have a nice pumping sound system, I turn around and there was a young Italian dude performing, I was blown away. Think he performs Thursday nights. Old school décor, pretty cool! On 2 occasions, I have placed an order for pickup and asked if they could deliver it out to my car because I had my 2 kids asleep in their car seats. They were happy to help, nice people! –Convenient location from Main st in Milford
