Fabulous food & service! We have been only twice but can’t wait to go back. Flatbread pizza, fried calamari with marina sauce, Caesar salad, Linguine Fruiti di Mare & Veal Medallions were a few of the things we tried but so delicious. The quality of the food rivals the North End! Maybe even better considering the bread & house olive oil. Oops, forgot the desert: out of this world. Only wish they were open on Sunday’s.

My friend took me here the other day and I order the pork chop. Got to say very good. The food was really delicious.

Had the salmon — absolutely delicious. Good wine pour with decent wine selection. Hubby had eggplant which was very good. We were not disappointed.

Ordered take-out from here recently, which may not have been the best option. The food was good, but nothing amazing, especially not for the price. While picking up my order, I did notice how beautiful and unique the interior of the actual restaurant is, but the meal itself proved it wasn’t worth it to return and enjoy a sit-down meal.

Disappointed! We ate at Trattoria when it first opened recalling it to be good. We moved away and since moving back had not re-visited. With the reviews being respectable we decided to return and give it a shot. Our waitress was very pleasant; the crowd was minimal due to the Patriots playing which made for a quiet setting. The Wine list — Is insignificant and the only Sauvignon Blanc was Californian(nothing Australian) Sterling for $ 34 a bottle. A bit steep considering it’s a 9.00 bottle of wine and at a local restaurant(Prezo) you can purchase for $ 19.00. The food — We started with the Calamari with added peppers. A bit on the chewy side but overall a nice taste. The bread brought to the table was warm with a slight outer crunch so a good start to the meal. I ordered the Puttanesca which I added chicken and spiced up. Luckily I did request chicken or the meal would have been tiny lacking substance but flavored well. My husband ordered the Vitello Alla Fiorentina adding the pasta(+$ 5) as it comes ala carte. Thankfully he did as the dish for $ 21 was nothing excessive not that you need a huge dish but he would have walked away hungry, to add to the dissatisfaction the veal was like rubber. Overall nothing great. If your heading out for a brilliant Italian meal, drive the few extra minutes and hit Café Assisi in Wrentham.

I love this place, but be prepared to wait! The food is outstanding and the prices are moderate. That’s a GREAT combination and is probably the reason this place is PACKED on weekend nights. You have to put you name on a list to get a bar stool! I wish they would take the street level function room and turn it into regular dining space. But don’t let my complaining about the wait deter you. The food is worth the wait and we will be back.

One of my favorite spots for a date night. Cozy setting, delicious salad & soup, and fresh baked bread. Tried escargot for the first time here & loved it. Reasonably priced entrees and always leave with leftovers. Highly recommend!

my in laws live in milord and when we drop the children off for the weekend we always make it point to come here. It is a lovely Italian gem with fantastic food and service. My husband is obsessed with chicken farm and swears that its better than my cooking. i much prefer the bisteca ai ferri which is basically steak but so much better than any steak I’ve ever tasted in a restaurant before.

The best Italian food I’ve ever had!(Seriously as good as the North End) for great prices. Small restaurant, quaint, romantic. Desserts are delicious too. I would recommend a reservation on weekends.

I went there for the first time tonight and was disappointed. After being seated and given drinks and bread, the waiter did not return for almost 40 minutes to take our order. Although I was frustrated, I was trying to be patient since he was waiting on a large party as well. However, after the big party left. He still paid very little attention to us, would put things on the table without saying a word to us and if he did happen to speak, it was as he was walking away. The drink my dining partner ordered after our salads were brought did not arrive until we were finished with our meal. By the end of the meal, we just wanted to pay our bill and leave but we had to wait for him to finish setting Empty tables(at this point. 80% of the tables were empty and no one was waiting. He could of left a few unset for 2 minutes). The food was decent but the service left a real sour taste in my mouth.

Went on short notice with 14 hungry parents and hockey players. They accommodated us without any problems. Staff was great. Good was even better! What a gem to find this place in Milford.

What a great find! Recently moved to Milford and stumbled onto this place one night. Hit it on a Thursday if you are into quite dining … or on a Fri /Sat if you want a more upbeat social night. The food is great, the wine and beer selection perfect.

I was in town for the week and had the best meal of the week… the minestrone soup was excellent, and I had the portabella mushroom with chicken over ziti as an entrée. The service was excellent from Debbie. Will be my #1 dinner spot on future visits!

This place is a hidden gem. Quite hidden as its in the basement of a building and looks a bit like stone henge inside. The bar is beautiful and so is the food. If the portions were a bit larger I would give 5 stars. The food is very tasty and authentic but the servings are closer to what you would find in a French restaurant not Italian. I am not expecting boatloads of pasta. The veal medallions I had came in a three silver dollar sized portion and the bread pudding came in a very tiny dessert cup. Maybe 4 teaspoon full at most. Service was great and the bread is amazing.

I have gone here several times and I am never disappointed. At first I got soup with every meal because it’s always good no matter what kind it is but then I tried their roasted red pepper dressing and I’m now addicted to it! I always start out with Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante because they have small bottles of it always and it’s so delicious. I got the bruschetta last time I went as an appetizer and that was very delicious although they do give you warm, soft bread with butter for the table that is awesome as well. I love anything with their red sauce and they are always coming up with mouthwatering specials. It is comparable to a restaurant in North End Boston without the commute and the expense.

Great little Italian place– great food with great prices. No need to travel into Boston or Providence to get top notch Italian food. Not many tables so be prepared to wait. Even with reservations we had to wait an hour past our time do to another group just hanging at the table well after they finished their meal. Management should have asked them to move to the bar so they could have turned over the table. Would have given it 5 stars if it was not for the wait.

We dined last night based on friend’s recommendation. Food — at the same quality level you would experience in Boston’s North End, we particularly enjoyed the red sauce. Atmosphere — authentic stone walls, with rustic wood beam ceiling creates a wonderful dining environment. Although the restaurant was crowded, it was not too noisy and was easy to hear everyone at our table. Service — the hostess and waitress were friendly and made us feel welcomed, creating a wonderful evening. Parking — we had no problem finding on street parking across from the restaurant.
