Awful absolutely awful… Way over priced for what you get. The burger came out of the freezer warmed up in a microwave. It was just plain bad, and the worst part was they charge $ 16 bucks for that. Only bright spot was the beer that I had — slightly over priced but good nonetheless. Also no draft… Just FYI

Complete service fail. Sat there for 15mins. Not one server came to me. The restaurant was roughly 50% capacity while servers chatted with kitchen staff. Walked out. No idea about food quality. But it’s priced pretty high.

You are in an airport. You have been traveling for six hours and have six to go. You need something to eat. You arrive at Shula’s. You can do worse. It’s ok. It’s better than Denny’s. It’s an airport! Rarely do restauranteurs realize that lasting impressions can be made by exceptional dining. Shula is a coach… Not a chef… They didn’t offer eggs and fried pig skin… you can do worse… It’s an airport!!!

First, let me say I’m very surprised that Don Shula would lend his name to place that has no idea how to cook a hamburger. Nobody I know wants to eat a charred burger. Not only is the taste terrible, but the smell. I was brought one burger then a replacement burger that were both terrible. The fried ravioli however, was good as was my waiter Enrique. I felt bad for him, but made sure I let him know it wasn’t his fault.

Not sure why this place is rated low. The food and service was quick and awesome. Margarita is what you should I get here m. Just out of this world. Shrimp lettuce wrap and French onion burger was out of the world. More than Perfect airport option, just a bit pricey.

I’ve been by this place a thousand times and with today’s 4 hour layover I made the poor decision to stop in for lunch. The server was great, very attentive and cordial, the food was awful. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with sea salt fries and a short time later, what they pass off as a grilled chicken sandwich arrived. Very small with zero taste, missing the chipotle condiment on what was supposed to be a brioche bun and served with stone cold fries that tasted like cardboard. I’m never one to complain but I couldn’t let this pass without advising my server. He was more than understanding and offered something else but I wasn’t having it anymore with Shula’s. Definitely not a recommend when traveling through the MIA airport.

great service, great drinks, delicious burgers!!! Can’t find a better place to eat or drink in this airport. Burger was cooked to perfection and not gigantic like most steakhouses serve. The perfect pre flight meal. Loved it

I loved their steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale(I know they have more locations) and I was pleasantly surprised that this place met the same standard. It was the best food I had in Miami on this trip. I had the lemon citrus cocktail that was made well although the bartenders or maybe it was my waitress but it took a long time to get our drinks and food also. I went with a group of colleagues. For my meal I had the steak wrap cooked to medium rare. The steak inside was cooked well and it came with the right balance of steak to vegetables. It was a larger wrap than I anticipated and I was full very shortly after the first half. There was a sauce that came along with it and I was not a fan but luckily it’s provided on the side and not too heavy inside the wrap. If I am ever in Miami again I will be eating here. It’s such a relief to find airport food that is actually good!

This place wasn’t bad, especially for an airport bar/restaurant. The beers are all bottle, nothing on tap — which is a little strange. I got a burger with shrimp on it. I didn’t even know that was a thing! The sweet potato fries were slightly below average, but the burger made up for it. It was actually awesome! The bar tender was good, nothing to rave about. The WIFI connection was good too.

Stopped in here for lunch before a flight. Now I realize that this restaurant is in the airport, but the pricing seemed a little high when first opening the menu. I ordered a BBQ cheeseburger for $ 15. I figured that if nothing else it should be really good for that price. It was decent, nothing spectacular. Service and staff was okay as well. I would most likely not eat here again just due to what you get for the price, but would not discourage others from trying it out.

The food was good but I was drinking my water and something crunchy was in my mouth. The glass was cracked inside at the bottom… The server gave me a new glass without apology.

The food was OK. The bar area was good and provided a lot of TV’s for my layover. The Service was probably the worst I’ve experienced in a while.

My husband and I needed to get a quick bite to eat before our red eye flight… And we wanted good food(which may be a tall order being that we were in an airport). None-the-less, we found Shula’s and decided to eat there. We were immediately waited upon and greeted when we came in. Our waiter was quick and helpful, but would always stare off outside the restaurant when not verbally engaged(it was weird). I don’t know if he was trying to see a movie star walk by or an attractive person(who knows). He was friendly so we overlooked it… My husband ordered the BBQ burger with sea salt fries and I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries. For my appetizer, I ordered the sweet chilli shrimp bites. We both ordered drinks which were strong and tasty. The burgers were AHHHHmazingly DEElishuss! The bun was soft yet toasted perfectly and the actual burger was perfectly grilled medium well like we like. Both the fries were very tasty and cooked well. My shrimp appetizer was not that great. The shrimp seemed like it had been in the freezer too long and the sauce was THICK and overpowering … I would bypass this dish. If you have time and extra cash to spare for good airport food try this place out. Our bill came out to $ 82 not including tip.

Had a long layover before my flight and decided to get a burger. First off it’s at the airport so I knew the price would be a bit high. I ordered the Shula burger with Jack cheese, bacon and a fried egg. The burger was excellent the bacon though was completely burnt. I actually pulled it off the burger it was so bad. Overall the service was good. Nice place to stop before your flight.

Two stars only for the drinks. I am always disappointed when I go to Shula’s… no matter which location. Granted, this one is in the Miami airport, but it still should live up to Shula’s reputation as a high dollar steak restaurant. I stopped in only because it was located directly next door to my departing flight’s gate. As mentioned above, the drinks were good… my Maker’s Old Fashioned was very well prepared and delivered a perfect taste… the sweet taste and contrasting bitters were mixed just right. As far as the food goes… it was horrible. I started with a Caesar salad that was just terrible. The lettuce was warm and wilted, obviously not fresh. I took a few bites and the warm mushiness was just too much… I had to discard the rest. Unfortunately, I subbed the salad in place of the fries on my main course, which was a steak wrap with Gouda cheese. The fries would have been nice since the salad was inedible… as far as the steak wrap went, it was no good either. It was charred terribly, greatly detracting from the overall taste. Additionally, the Gouda cheese and herb mayo seemed to only be on one side of the wrap. In any other Shula’s location, I would have sent the entire meal back and complained to the manager. Being short on time and in an airport, I labored through the overpriced and poorly prepared meal. On top of the bad food, the service was medium and the atmosphere was not pleasant. It was very warm in the restaurant… to the point where I was uncomfortable for the duration of my visit. BOTTOMLINE: I will never return to this location… and really just don’t like any of the Shula’s restaurants. Chris’s, Del Frisco’s, etc… are much better national chain options in this price range.

First of all, the service is good. Friendly hostess and efficient and friendly server. It stops there. We sat next to the kitchen service window so we saw everything coming out. The manager must get a handle on the kitchen as ALL the wait staff had to yell or go into the kitchen to fix errors. The kitchen staff are a disaster. We watched order after order come out all screwed up, and the servers kept asking for fixes. I ordered a medium burger and got a well-done, dried out hockey puck without the lettuce, tomato and onion that was requested. My wife ordere a medium-well burger that came out medium to medium rare. Our daughter’s calamari came out all after our burgers and looked like onion rings and were tough and chewy. Eat somewhere else until the manager gets a handle on the kitchen. The front of the restaurant is fine.

This place is located in the D Gates of the Miami International Airport, for me it is the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I ate in other restro in D Gates, it is the best. Prices of course are more expensive than outside the airport, but what make this place stand out from the other restore in D Gate is the food quality. The burger is a real burger that lasts like a burger. My eating buddy had a mixed grill and it was decently cooked with the steak cooked to what he requested. This will be my designated restaurant when I am in D Gates of Miami International Airport.

Everything I ordered at this restaurant was just ok. Not one thing I ordered gave me the«WOW» factor! For $ 60 dollars including 18% auto gratuity, I felt they were overpriced but then again it IS an airport restaurant. With that being said, the restaurant is ok. Service is cool. I had multiple staff checking on me/refilling my water glass and I believe a manager came to ask me how everything was. I ordered the Miami Vice drink which was an ok drink. I ordered a single shot but it didn’t really make the drink strong which was expected, so if you want a stronger drink I recommend you order a double shot. I felt the drink was a tad bit on the watery side, just a tad, because of the strawberry purée. The mango purée and the blue curaçao tasted just as I wanted it. I then ordered a garlic shrimp dish for the appetizer and it was well seasoned but I was expecting fried shrimp with a garlic butter or garlic sauce on the side or even drizzled over it. It came more like a shrimp boil in seasoned garlic butter with a side of room temperature bread. I would have probably enjoyed this appetizer better if the toast was served«fresh out of the oven» warm instead. Lastly, my waitress informed me that they were serving the $ 27.50 ribeye and she emphasized how good it was. I am a sucker for meat so I decided to try it. It was ok. Had it medium well and I felt it was more on the medium rare side than medium well. But flavor-wise, it tasted good.
