Centurion lounges are truly making it a pleasure to be at airports again, this one being no exception. Like the rest of the Centurion lounges, this one provides gourmet meals, top shelf liquor, work stations, dining areas and an overall comfortable experience. I really can’t wait until they start adding lounges to more cities. The only negative here was that there was a fairly long wait to get in. I actually waited around for 15 minutes being able to find a seat. This could be because the lounge is on the smaller side compared to others. Something worth considering if you’re in a time crunch. Otherwise, great experience.

Once again American Airlines is on the receiving end of a can of whoop ass. Walked out of the AA Admirals Club lounge. Line was 10 deep with two hostesses. Overflow in upstairs lobby area. What a joke. Now I’m at American Express Centurion Lounge. American Airlines… game on. As more Centurion lounges open, I am quitting Admirals program. The sad thing is… the worse the service at AA gets, the more airlines they take over.

BEST airport lounge I’ve been to! WHY? FREE top shelf liquor(aka Don Julio Anejo, Patron, Grey Goose, etc.). I know… I don’t really have to go on but I should. FREE food which is not your typical soup or tiny sandwiches. It’s an actual meal(ie. Braised Short Ribs, Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, etc.). The taste and quality of the food would beat any of the meals you can get at any of the airport restaurants. FREE basic salon services like a manicure or a massage. Check for availability when you check in. CLEAN bathrooms… even though there’s only two private stalls and one urinal. How can you get in to this airport oasis? Simple…get a Platinum AMEX card. Annual fee is $ 450BUT you get a $ 200 airline credit every year plus additional perks like fees of Global Entry and TSA Precheck credited back to your account and some points deal. It practically pays for itself!!! You’re welcome fellow Unilocal traveller!

This place is nice and well located in concourse D. They have more traffic than normal as they are MUCH better than Admirals!!! The downside, too crowded and difficult to fiind seats… They do have complimentary breakfast and drinks… Even alcoholic beverages… Service is very good… Too bad they do not have a larger spot! Enjoy and safe travels…

Nice atmosphere and Good amount of seating. I was just expecting more food options. The menu is short with things I don’t really eat like soup with salad and some chicken for lunch and dinner. I was expecting them to have a chef that could cook food if like to eat.

I usually avoid routing through MIA but this Centurion Lounge at the new Terminal D maybe worth checking out compares to what FLL offers. Crazily busy! Getting a seat or 2 might be quite a challenge especially during the morning rush between 9:30 — 11:30 am. But by noon or so, the lounge was quite empty. Remember to ask for their Cocktail menu. Each Centurion lounge has their own unique signature drink. I tried the Key Lime Gimlet: sour, sweet and strong, just like drinking a dessert. The bartender can make whatever you like and want. Their bar is so well stocked! Hot food selection though limited but well prepared! I do enjoy the refreshing Mexican theme during lunch. And of course the Complimentary 15 minute spa treatment: mini facial, massage or manicure. Make sure you check availability when checking in and book an appointment.(Please have cash ready for tipping after treatment) Just make sure arrive at MIA super early to go through TSA and give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the offerings and facilities.

Do you have an AMEX Platinum Card? Yes. Are you flying out of terminal D? Yes. Definitely visit this lounge. The Centurion Lounge is exclusive to AMEX card holders. Platinum & Centurion Cards receive complimentary entry and any other AMEX can enter with an additional fee of $ 50 I believe. I have been to this location twice so far both for 6hrs.+ layovers. After reading other reviews I learned that they have a spa here similar to the DFW location; however, this was never mentioned to me upon check in. Meh. I am actually a fan of the buffet style food at the Centurion Lounges. The brussels sprouts at this location being my personal favorite. The main dining area gets pretty crowded, loud, and busy in the afternoon. For the duration of my second visit, I enjoyed stitting at the bar drinking complimentary top shelf drinks in mostly natural sunlight thanks to the floor to ceiling windows overlooking one of the runways. This location makes it fun to sit by the windows and watch airplanes take off. There are many outlets located under the bar, near the tables along the window, and in the napping area, as well as other locations I’m sure. If you are in need of a nap, after checking in make an immediate left walk down the hall you will pass a counter with tall bar chairs, then some chairs with side/coffee tables, then you will come to the couches this is prime napping real estate. The lights are pretty dim, it is quiet, and there are usually other people napping.

I decided to mix it up and try the Centurion Lounge which newly opened last spring. It’s MUCH nicer than the Admiral’s Club, less chaos, less kids, less noise and better food. Also, really good gourmet teas! Free WIFI, L’Occitane products in the loo as well. It’s not super clean but a nice place to hide between flights.

As much as I like the Centurion Lounge concept, I found the Miami lounge to be subpar to the other Centurions I have been to(DFW/LAS). The lounge is small, and one time there was literally nowhere to sit. Food offering was also far more one sided than the other clubs– one entrée and some salads– the same both days I was there and neither day did I want to partake. Restrooms are nice but also suffer undercapacity. However, a big kudos for the free top-shelf booze. Overall, not a bad place but probably not worth the $ 50 entry fee unless you have a Platinum card, or plan on boozing it up.

This is the bomb as far as airport experiences go… Great food — check Great drink specials(complimentary) — check Spa service — you have to ask but also complimentary — check. Could not be a better spot for a layover. Did not try the showers, but also available. Hoping to have time for another massage on my way thru tomorrow!

I’ve been going to the Vegas Centurion Lounge since it opened, and since going to the DFW lounge I decided that was my favorite. Free 15 minute massage and the best food. Today was my first time in Miami and they matched the food, ahead of Vegas’s repeated dishes. Missed the free massage today but I’ll be back to get one in a couple of weeks. The lounge is a bit small but good, quick staff. More Centurion Lounges, Amex, more!

It tends to be very busy, but that’s because it’s the best. They have set a new standard. The shower is awesome! Make sure to book a chair massage when you check in. I am a big fan of the 305 cocktail. 1st world problems… Once you have been to the Centurion lounge, the delta club feels like a soup kitchen.

A bit small for this size of an airport but standard Centurion Lounge(Now I’ve been to the LGA, Vegas and MIA locations.) Hot food lunch/dinner was nice, but very hard to get a seat. Also, way too many flies around, they’ve got to do a better job cleaning up… classic Miami.

Located after security near gate D12, you have to take an elevator from level 2 to level 4 to find the Centurion Lounge, which feels a bit awkward in its showiness as the elevator is circular and clear so anyone in the airport can see you ascend. I’ve been to most of the other Centurion Lounges and the overall design is consistent with the others. It feels a bit on the small side — comparable to SFO or LGA in seating areas but it does come with showers and the complimentary Exhale spa treatments(massage and manicure) that you can take advantage of by scheduling at the front desk. When I was there on a Saturday around 5:30pm, the showers were booked until 8pm but spa treatments were available within 30 – 60 minutes. Usually I have never had to wait for a shower suite(LAS and DFW) but it makes sense given MIA’s status as more of an international layover hub compared to other locations. I opted for a manicure and while my aesthetician was very friendly, the manicure I had was not close to being on par with the one I had in DFW’s location. When I first arrived, it was quite busy and there wasn’t much seating available. But after 10 minutes, a huge wave had left so we were able to find better seating near the bar. At first glance, the cocktail menu was quite sparse, listing only 5 options compared to the other lounges where I’ve seen 8 or so. I tried the 305 Special(Tequila, Aperol, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Juice) and the Key Lime Gimlet(Gin, Lime Juice, Lime Curd) and both were good but definitely skewed on the sweet side. The Key Lime Gimlet is definitely like a dessert so I could only have a few sips but definitely worth a try. The food is healthier than the other lounges, opting for more salads, fresh ingredients, and the noticeably absent fried chicken popular in other locations. I did really enjoy the couscous with chicken, and the key lime dessert I had. I also tried the breakfast on the return(lounge opened at 5am, but hot breakfast wasn’t served until around 6 – 6:30am) and the Sweet Potato and Sausage Hash was delicious.

That’s a Centurion Club Lounge at Miami International Airport is amazing. They offer free manicures, massages, and shower suites. The hot food was also amazing. I especially like the chicken thigh over the chilled corn salad. Because it was the Mimosa Monday, I had a mimosa, a massage, and the manicure all at the same time at the exhale spa located in the lounge all as a FREE perk for an American Express Platinum card holder. Strongly recommended that you go early and spend as much time to enjoy all the amenities of the lounge especially the open bar with premium drinks. Membership has its privileges and the centurion lounges nationwide are certainly one of the best perks!

MIA may still be the airport everyone loves to hate, but it truly is, like Domino’s Pizza and Winn-Dixie, «getting better all the time.» Increasingly, MIA looks and feels better on the balance than several other airports in major US cities — and the Miami Centurion Lounge is just the latest entry on the positive side of the MIA ledger. First, the obligatory minor negative — the lounge is located, post-security, within the infamous mile-long Terminal D, which as we all know, is entirely dominated by American Airlines. This is great if you’re flying American, but less great if you’re flying Delta, United, or any of the other airlines located in Terminals H and J, which, inconveniently, do NOT connect to the other terminals post-security. So, in a nutshell, if you’re flying Delta, for example, and want to go to the Centurion Lounge, you have to pass through Terminal D’s security line. To catch your flight, of course, you will have to leave Terminal D, and go through another security line at Terminal H. I don’t know about you, but I don’t even have the patience for ONE security line per airport visit, much less two. Why can’t all of MIA’s terminals connect? Anyway, location is my only gripe here. The lounge is accessed by a grand elevator entrance, and is airy, bright, and clean, featuring a catbird seat’s view of MIA’s north runway. After all these years, I still find it fascinating to watch planes take off… and the row of lounge chairs along the windows is a perfect place for this. Buffet-style eating is usually a red flag for me, but here, the Michelle Bernstein-designed menu works very well. If only more buffet food was this tasty. Fennel and watermelon salads were both fresh and delightful, but the three 5 star standouts for me were the carrot and ginger soup, roasted squash, and the creamy polenta. I wouldn’t get better polenta at Scarpetta, or Michy’s own restaurant for that matter. The chicken was tasty, as was chef Bernstein’s famous bread pudding, but I do have a minor critique — the pudding could definitely use some kind of sauce served with it, whether a rum caramel, or a vanilla crème anglaise — either would have elevated the dish. The cocktail menu is a bit more limited in number/scope than that found at the NYC LaGuardia Centurion Lounge, but the drinks were still well-crafted and enjoyable. My favorite was the Key Lime Gimlet, a simple but addicting semi-sweet drink made with key lime curd. It was pie-in-a-glass. Service here is Energizer Bunny-esque…they just keep going, constantly refreshing the food, clearing plates, glasses, etc. This lounge also features a mini-spa, and I’m told that this is a main selling point of the MIA lounge, as none of the others have one outside of the Dallas location. I did not go in for a free 15 minute manly manicure, even though my wife tells me I have ragged nails that could probably benefit from one. Massages were also available, though again, I preferred to be «massaged» by the free-flowing food and drink while I sat and watched planes take off like a 6 year old. It wasn’t too terribly crowded in the lounge, either — there was a decent rotation of guests as some rushed off to catch their planes while others would arrive for a quick meal/drink. For me, this lounge went a long way toward making flying and the whole airport experience more enjoyable.

Neat little lounge offering complimentary food, drinks, more drinks, and more drinks. Also available are complimentary 15 minute spa treatments and long line for the shower suites. Please fix your elevator so guests don’t get trapped in the lounge.

I can’t believe this lounge is finally open. After a long — very long — wait, the Centurion lounge arrives at KMIA airport. Located in North Terminal around gate D15, the lounge is posh. AMEX did a great job, although a bit smaller than its DFW counterpart. I believe capacity is 62… Anyways, we had a morning flight and it wasn’t as busy. We enjoyed mimosas with a great view of runways 8⁄26. Definitely will be back soon. I didn’t try food offerings. Heard the menu was being run by Michy B. The bar is fully stocked and cocktails were created by Jim Meehan from PDT. 15 mins complimentary spa is amazing. DEFINITELY a MUST before boarding. Also for ladies, 15 mani? Unheard of! Wifey was in disbelief. Overall a great place to relax before your flight. Long live the Centurion!

It’s finally opened in Miami International Airport. First you check in at the front desk. For Amex Platinum or higher it’s free all other pay $ 50 to get in which includes food and drinks. After check in you take an elevator to the lounge area. Nice size area with plenty of space to relax and unwind before your flight. They have a buffet style area to get some food. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was juicy and tasty. I also had some dessert which was also good. They also had complimentary hot chocolate and coffee plus chocolate chip cookies. They also offer a 15 minute spa treatment if you wanted to take advantage of it. They also provided WiFi and power outlets to charge your electronic devices. It was very comfortable and relaxing hanging out there. The place was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and professional. Definitely will go back again if I’m in that part of the airport.
