Quiet, excellent service, and great cuban food. Not the healthiest choices, but it’s good for a late night run for yummy food.

Open 24 hours? Eek! Methinks not! I’ve been here twice. The first time, the service was pretty bad; the waiters were rude and sooo slooow. The pizza wasn’t that great and I don’t even understand what the concept of «pizza cubana» is. If this was the only time I came here, the rating would be three stars. The second time was with a group of friends around 1am. We pulled the car up to the spot in front of the door and full windows. As soon as we got out of the car, the one employee inside saw us and RANANDHIDINTHEBACK!!! Wow, really? We tried opening the door but it was LOCKED. We were all upset at this point and one of us banged(loudly and obnoxiously, I might confess) on the door. No one came. I’m definitely not coming back here for their mediocre«pizza» and abominable service.

This place are scam artist! They charge you a homeless tax. None of the employees knew how to explain and guided me to a poorly written explanation on why they charge a homeless tax. Worst is the reason behind it is to support homeless folks and domestic violence abuse and don’t k ow what does tourism have to do with it. Food was also horrible for the exception of the milkshake. The waitress didn’t even know what is Mariners sauce. Stay away and don’t fall into this scam of a restaurant.

This place does not answer their phone– the answering machine memory is full. the one time a woman did answer she abruptly hung up on me when i asked if there is a copy of the menu online. I’m guessing this restaurant is not trying to be successful as an actual restaurant…

The garlic bread and pizza were not fully cooked, could still taste the raw dough. The pasta was cold. Giving one star because the waitress was nice.

Worst place to eat! We ordered the Cuban sandwich and media noche and both came with Bologna instead of pork… We told our waitress we were not gonna eat it. Luckily we walked without having the manager give us a vague excuse. Never eating there!

I live a few blocks away and the food here just keeps getting worse. The service is just okay. The spaghetti used to be the bomb but now its mostly cold and the pizza just sucks right now. You’ll probably go wrong ordering anything else that’s not popular either so try something better. I’m currently eating off a pizza joint on Sunset called Pizza Jhonny’s which is NY style(different from Cuban) but its fresh and way better.

I have to say that although the spaghetti is very good their pizza is very doughy. the service takes FOREVER so go with plenty of time. However, the reason for my review is because i want to make everyone aware of a «homeless tax» that they add to your bill. Most people will not review their bill and just pay for this tax, it is 1% of the total amount and although it is not much, I felt it was something that I should inquire about. When i asked the Manager/Owner, she said that because their business makes more than $ 400,000(yes four hundred thousand) a year, they get taxed 1% for the homeless. I told her I would not pay for it as this sounds to me like a tax THEY have to pay not the consumer. It is because of «us» your patrons that you are making over $ 400,000, then why should I pay for part of your tax? She removed it off the bill, but gave me a long speech and a very hard time. I looked up this homeless tax and all I found was that Alex Penelas brother was homeless at some point and he proposed a tax for the homeless in 1993. Still researching whether this is legal or not, but if you do go there PAYATTENTION to your bill. Rudest owner ever. Kept pointing her finger at my face as to why I had to pay for this, etc… I had to ask her to lower her voice and keep her hands off my face. I was having dinner with my kids and didn’t want to make a bigger scene than what she was already making, but it was very disturbing. NOGOOD.

No. Don’t go. Pizza is extremely dough-y and seems undercooked. I was afraid to eat it. It was also very bland. Spaghetti is ok but I wouldn’t consider it «good». Garlic rolls are the absolute worse I have ever had! I’m not sure if they were old, undercooked, or what, but I(and everyone else) just couldn’t have more than our initial bite. They tasted BAD. Service is also horrible. They let sketchy characters, such as a guy selling pirated movies, just hang out at the place. They’re friends. I’m not comfortable eating at a place where the employees allow sketchy activity(this is ESPECIALLY why I’m making the effort to write a bad review). Also, the last time I went, the TVs were playing something horribly gory and graphic. Do I really want to watch that while eating?! Oh. My. God. Just, no.

I hate writing bad reviews, but I think if we don’t word things out how would business owners know and improve. With that said please do something about your staff. It will destroy the cliental which is so hard to make. Please have the chef inspect all dishes before heading out to the costumers. Maybe we choose a wrong date to go. We went after santa’s enchanted forest on DeC. 25th. The staff odiously didn’t want to be there. My lasagna was cold and the cheese inside was not melted. When asked about the juice selection in the menu. They only had one type. Out of all the shakes available they had non. My suggestion check inventory everyday !!! Don’t let this happen. Also keep desserts fresh. When asked the waiter how fresh they were she said they get done days ago. And was not sure on the freshness.

One and done. I came to try their pizza as I just had moved to the area. So, upon sitting down, it took about 15 minutes in an empty restaurant for anyone to get us a menu. Ok, no biggie. I knew what I wanted, so when she finally came by, she just practically threw down the menu, said«buenas,» and walked away. Hmm, okay, homegirl is having a bad day, no biggie again. Upon ordering, there was no sign of acknowledgement of my order — just a blank, miserable stare. Not even the grunt of recognition out of this woman. Uh, well, okay — it’s been a shitty day for her, I guess? No biggie… Oh boy, so, I ordered a plain ol’ pepperoni pizza and when my order arrives, it’s just cheese. So we say, hey, this isn’t what we ordered, and THEN finally, sound comes out her mouth and she insists we ordered cheese. I’m pretty sure I know what I want to eat, so we ask if we can have pepperoni pizza, please. She walks away with our pizzas, no apology. Okay, no biggie… …Ms. Silencio comes back a few minutes later with our old pizzas decorated with cold pepperoni on top. Nope. No way. Not eating this. I’m out. Not coming back.

FASTSERVICE! Arrived here at 2:20 pm and got the order around 2:30. Very Fast, yes that’s how the service we got here. The pizza was really good, tasty as ever. The place was also cool to eat. I feel safe whenever I eat here.

Their pizza is excellent! I usually order take out from this place because, honesty, dining in this place is gross. The waiters are inattentive and the place is dirty. Great food but terrible service and ambiance.

Great Cuban food, typical Cuban service. Recommend: takeout or delivery. If you eat in then it will bias the food because of the service.

I like this place. Even though, sometime the service is no as good as the customer deserve, you could taste the real cuban pizza here accompanied by the beautiful decoration and traditional cuban murals. I’ve visited many Rey Pizzas in Miami, but for me, this is the best of alls. :d

When I’m feeling down, I do what any normal person would do. I jump in the car and drive out to Westchester to get a slice just like abuela used to make. With just one bite, I’m transported back to abuela’s kitchen in Havana where she would spend all day tossing dough and making pies for us and all the niños in the neighborhood. She claimed to make the best crust in Cuba, «way better than that stuff they make in Santiago,» as she would say. I think abuela would like Pizza Cubana. Especially their traditional, «$ 3.99 slice de camarones y Coke» special. Dále!

I’ve been going here for over 8 years. I must say that I’m a fan of all of their food, but everything else sucks. Service is pretty much a crap shoot. If you don’t speak spanish, then good luck with even getting food. I don’t know if it’s the language barrier or if the chongas… errr waitresses are just stupid. Just say«Cola-cola» and there is a blank stare like you’re asking them if they know what a green card is.
