King of Racks BBQ

I went to wynwood art festival and saw the king of racks bbq food truck. Once I saw the menu I knew I had to try the rib tacos. They were amazing! I also had the rib fries I believe that is what it was (long day can’t remember the name) but they also were great. I would recommend this to everyone.

My company catered King Of Racks BBQ, and I had the Swap Dog and it was amazing.

The brisket sandwich was decent.
It was a bit on the greasy side and definitely messy as hell to eat.
I did have higher expectations from King of Racks BBQ.
Overall, there are so many other food truck options that I probably wouldn’t be back unless i really need some BBQ.
3 out of 5 stars is a decent average meal. Nothing spectacular… but not bad neither.

Chef Garcia clearly enjoys his vocation and adds that to his food by taking extra care to give the biggest bang for your buck.
Top quality ingredients and an inventive combo of tasty fries topped with xl all beef hotdog then covered with every yummy ingredient you can imagine.
the creation was so impressive that at least 10 people stopped me to ask what it is and where could they get one.
my appetite had been absent for about 2 weeks, but came back when I saw and tasted the swamp dog
Can’t wait to visit this great food truck again and try the other items too.

The only thing I could comment on this particular food truck is the terrible customer service and disrespect to their customers. I was at the formula E event this weekend in bay front park and king of BBQ was there along with many other food trucks. There were a lot of people at this event and we may have waited for about 40 minutes in line to get food in the scorching hot Miami sun. That’s fine, I didn’t mind waiting but right when we get to the truck when it’s our turn to order, the manager says «sorry, there’s no food left!» They didn’t have a line cue person warning us that there wasn’t anything left. We were obviously upset and the manager was very rude and cussed at us when we asked him why couldn’t have someone said anything before. He even told my boyfriend «I will slap those sunglasses off your face». What kind of way is that to talk to your customers? Never in my life have I experienced such disrespect from a food company.

we ordered the rack of ribs for $ 13 from the food truck which included fries but it was anything but ribs. I swear there was a spongy transparent looking chunk in the middle of both racks it looked like an actual spinal cord!!! the ribs were literally melted and not in a good way. besides the disgusting chunk of spinal cord there was A LOT other lumps of fat. and the fries… there was only a very small amount and they were buried under the ribs. should have been on a separate plate. VERY disappointed for $ 13 or even if it cost $ 2 it was mostly just un-​edible

Delicious!!! The best food, brisket is amazing…
Everything on the menu is delicious. The desserts are so good as well. Ribs are yummy…

Chiming in to join Mark A.‘s review of our shared Porkie sandwich…
It did satisfy my bbq craving, but I was really wanting more. There’s just so much added to the sandwich (feta cheese, onions, egg) that I feel the meat itself was lost. The fries were good, and I do love fries.
For me, when I get bbq, I love trying sauces. They have 3 bottles out to try: spicy, sweet & tangy original, and smokey. Maybe there was a 4^th, but I can’t recall the flavor, oops. I’m not about spicy bbq, so I didn’t try that one. The other two were great! Smokey was the best! So next time I go, I think I’d rather go for a more plain sandwich but slather the meat with some smokey sauce.

I stopped by King of Racks BBQ during the Hot Dog Fest at Magic City Casino, they had advertised the Swamp Dog and I had to try it. A hot dog with pulled pork, creamed corn, feta and mozzarella, coleslaw, bbq sauce and potato sticks! I wasn’t even sure how it would all fit on the bun. I placed my order and service was quick and very friendly. The first bite was delicious, all the flavors go well together and I especially liked the creamed corn.
This is definitely a knife and fork hot dog, if you try to pick it up and eat it with your hands you will end up a with a giant mess, but as long as you enjoy it it probably doesn’t matter.
This was probably the priciest hot dog I have ever eaten at $ 10, but it comes with fries (which had a nice seasoning to them) and I would highly recommend sharing this hot dog as I don’t think eating the whole thing would do anything positive for one’s health, so considering the size and the novelty of all those toppings I didn’t mind the price.

I’ve seen this food truck at other events but it wasn’t until the 3^rd Annual Hot Dog Fest (put on by Burger Beast) did I get around to trying them. Burger Beast posted on his website which specialty dogs would be served by which trucks, which had me craving The Swamp Dog from King of Racks BBQ for about a week in advance!
Take a look at my picture… it’s worth nothing that this dog had ALL the toppings, which equals big giant mess lol. But that didn’t deter me from digging in and getting it all over my face, made even funner that this was the moment Samantha D. came over to introduce herself lol. Honestly, some of the toppings got kind of «lost» in the mess, most noticeably the feta cheese, but the corn definitely shined through and the pulled pork. Yes, I shall now be making pulled pork dogs at home because this is a winning combination!
At $ 10 a pop it wasn’t cheap, but the hot dog was a full 12 inches, plus toppings, plus fries, so I think I got my money’s worth.

Acelyn B and I stumbled across this truck at the rally at Arts Park in Young Circle. We were looking for bbq so this was naturally our first stop. We ordered the porkie to share. Pulled pork with feta cheese, onions, a fried egg, and their signature sweet and tangy sauce. It was served on a butter parm (?) bread. I couldn’t really taste the bread but I did note how soft it was. I like. The sandwich was served with seasoned fries as well. Our entrée there was priced at $ 10. For the price, it hit the spot sufficiently. Though, I’m not sure I’d be yearning to go back when I’m flooded with food truck options. But. If you’re looking for bbq. It think they can adequately satisfy your craving.

So we tried this food truck and it was Total Garbage!!! From the tacos to the Brisket Sandwich. My hubby says he decided to see what the hype was all about and We were very disappointed! We have been trying different food trucks since they started here in Miami and byfar this was one of the worst.
I dont know how they can say they make «Fried Oreos», promoting and promoting them while you are standing in line and we saw the lady take out a pack of Great value Brand Walmart Oreos. Dont get me wrong, I buy Great value brand at Walmart, but if you are going to do all the promotions dont call it OREOS, you better waste a little more than great value and put the real stuff! its not much of a difference. To me thats FAKE ADVERTISING! So beware of the So called Fried Oreos.
the Tacos were TOTAL GARBABGE! I had better from the Purple eatery food truck.
and Finally a brisket Sandwich thats costs 9 bucks and the meat had a horrible flavor like the meat it didnt taste like anything, I t had a chewy meat bloody aftertaste.
BEWARE OF THIS FOOD TRUCK!!! HORRIBLE!!!
if you keep on like that you will keep losing customers like me that enjoy going to the food truck evernts all the time and dont mind spending the money but only if the food is GOOD!!!
