Excelente servicio, comida fresca y exquicita. Ya en una semana hemos venido 4 veces. Definitivamente, vale la pena venir a comer aqui.

The food is excellent. The Carne Asada is so good, their fish is delicious. Good service. Good prices. Subtract 1 star for the total lack of ambiance.

Ok my friends and I are churrasco lovers so when our favorite restaurant closed by the house we were on a hunt for a new place we found this one since it’s close to my hubbys job and my god were we satisfied, you always get seated right away and I have never had a bad service, I always start w the fried cheese for appetizer, it’s a really large portion two people can share and then the churrasco I always order the presidents it’s really big and it definitely worth the price, the chocolate mousse is delicious it’s soft and fluffy and reminds of natilla de chocolate

To start, the location is a bit deceiving so give it a chance. When you go in, the place looks nice and the people are friendly. We went for lunch and I can tell you that the food is AWESOME! Try the ribs! Yes, the ribs are f-ing fabulous. The price is good as well. We left full for hours and spent less than $ 40.00 for 2 people that like to eat. Well, I like to eat. My girlfriend likes to order a lot of food and taste… This place is worth the traffic getting into the area and we will definitely be back.

I see one of these everywhere but never actually stepped into one. So today we decided to do a quick dinner run and came La Fogata in town and country. We got the appetizer with fried cheese and tostones. It was amazing! The best fried cheese and the tostones were nice and crunchy. For entrée, I ordered the baby churrasco with fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. Overall great place and oh, great service from beginning to end!

I really like the churrasco here, usually have it with gallo pinto and yuca. The grilles fish its pretty good too. I feel sometimes the dishes are too big but hey! Im not complaining. Service can be a bit slow at times, but worth it imo.

La mejor comida Nica en Miami! Carne asada que da gusto comer, las tajadas y el queso frito dorados pero no quemado…

The food we ordered came fast and it was really good. We ordered a churrasco, and a chicken churrasco, with gallo pinto and platanitos. All was very good. We felt the server was a little serious with us but we did come in at 9pm and they close at ten. We both ordered flans and you could tell they came from aluminum tins. They are def not homemade and they bring these shitty plastic spoons for you to use and I cut my lip on it. So def go get your dessert on someplace else, you could prob go into publix and buy you a flan that tastes better and is cheaper too. Overall good though.

To Start The food is really GOOD,(taste & quantity). A group of five people for lunch time. For appetizer we order The Sampler Special, as Unilocalers said the Fry cheese is awesome & I liked the fry pork chunks too. Plus a side of Tostones with their dipping sauce. I order Charcoal Broil Pork loin for entrée with a side of Gallo Pinto & Steam Vegetables.(this place knows how to steam the vegetables, not like other places that boil them) Fallow with 3 Caesar Salads with Chicken,(they all like it very much) & a side of Flour Tortillas. Now I offer to get dessert & all four persons decline my offer, so I order Capricchio for dessert. Must try it, is lite and not to sweet and the rest of the group ask for extra spoons, glad that I was the first one to taste it :-) I gave four start because the server NEED a 101 server course. To start He stay in one corner of the table and start asking the customers what they want to to eat? The delivery of the food was the same, he was the lazies server or do not know how to serve the customer. Well like I said I go places to eat & enjoy what I’m eating. This place is in my go to eat place & I Like It… By the way this is a late review we had lunch on 8÷16÷15& the server was Esteban…

Its 10:30 when I walk in. Door sign says open to 11, Unilocal says open to 11, but staff say they’re closed. They’ll serve us anyhow because they sat us down, except half the kitchens closed because they are closed. Go figure. So Miami.

I love this place for Nica food. They have the best Pechuga Encebollada, highly recommended. Don’t over pay at the fancy places, this is by far much better food.

2 things I come specifically here to eat. 1. Fried Cheese 2. Churrasco This place has by far great food. Starting with their fried cheese and ending with their Flan. The fried cheese is a generous portion with the order and its amazing with the coleslaw the add with it. The churrasco is really tender and the flavor is great. Never to burnt or over cooked. I always match it with the Gallo Pinto and fried plantains. Staff is great and attentive.

Definitely a place to drop by if you enjoy Nicaraguan cuisine. The best time to come in is lunch as the discount on food items is very significant. The churrasco is excellent and the gallo pinto is one of the best in town. If you’re into trying new things try their Repocheta, it’s fantastic, and it comes with a fresh Nicaraguan slaw and sour cream. As other reviewers have stated, the wait staff here is not the best. Sodas are served in cans so order your second can in advance because it’s not very likely that somebody will glance at your table until it’s time for your bill. This however, does not take away from how great the food is, so four stars is what they get from me. Traffic isn’t a problem here but traffic around the traffic circle is show all on its own.

I sincerely believe that the food here beats any Nicaraguan restaurant anywhere — even in Nicaragua! I have been traveling to Nicaragua my whole life and while it is becomming increasing difficult to find a good restaurant there, Miami has the best one on the planet… I’m from LA and am only sorry I need to go to Miami to get get what La Fogata has to offer. The churrasco is indescribable… I rarely eat meat, but always make an exception where eating here. The fried bananas and cheese are fabulous and the typical fruit drinks are awesome. The manager, Dora, is friendly and seems to go out of her way to insure everyone not only has a perfect meal, but also great service. The restaurant is not directly in downtown Miami, it is in an outdoor shopping area, and is worth the drive. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the meal. A visit to Miami would not be complete without visiting La Fogata.

I’ve been here a few times and I really love the food. The Churrasco and Chuleta Frita are amazing. However, there always seems to be a shortage of something. This time there was no Yuca Frita or ceviche(which was still on the menu but apparently has been taken off the menu). The waiter wasn’t the friendliest either. Price is moderate and portions are a decent size. As for alcohol, they only sell sangria, beer and wine.

So I had heard a lot about this place but I had never really been. Great Nicaraguan food, fast service and reasonably priced. The sangria is really good & has a pretty good kick to it. Also, do not leave this place without having the fried cheese because well, just don’t. It’s absolutely amazing.

Haven’t been here in a long time, and decided to come because we were in the area. Came here on a pretty busy night. And although it was pretty packed, we were seated as soon as the table was cleaned and cleared. We ordered the tostones queso frito y ensalada de repollo as an appetizer, baby churrasco, and camarones alajillo. Our appetizers and food came out pretty quick, but our waiter kept forgetting to bring us our drinks. The food was alright and the prices are decent.

This place never disappoints me. I love their baby churrasco with gallo pinto. Not to mention their freshly squeezed lemonade, its so good. I think its time to go back again. The price is reasonable! If you are looking for Nicaraguan food, I recommend this place.
