I’m not a big fan unless there’s nothing else open and I need something to eat. This is cafeteria food at it’s best and a little pricey for that. The only up side to them is friendly ladies behind the counter, they are nice and very helpful.

I love this place. Sure, it’s divey, or maybe even shabby… but the food is delicious, the staff is cheery, and the servings are comparable to serving yourself with a shovel! The selection is always vast and unlike a normal restaurant, you can see your options already cooked in front of your eyes which both makes it easier and harder to make a decision. This is a solid spot for a quick meal. The portions are so big you can easily get 2 or even 3 meals out of one container.

Usually, this place is on point. Everything was delicious and you get a ton of food for the price. However, I will not ever be going back because my last 2 experiences with them have left me violently ill. First time it happened, I thought maybe it was a coincidence. I had the food for dinner and my stomach got upset, but I was fine. I grabbed the leftovers the next day and noticed a foul, sour smell. I convinced my instinct that it must be all in my head because the food didn’t taste bad. So I ate it. I started to have stomach issues and asked my man to smell it to get a second opinion. He almost vomited at the whiff of it and, needless to say, that’s what I was doing moments later. Today, I went to Palacio because I wanted a lot of food on a budget. I remembered my last experience when I saw the twitching bees(or wasps) on the tile inside of the restaurant. Then I noticed the live ones hanging out counter side near the food. No one seemed to acknowledge this; no one looked like they were concerned. Alas, for some reason, I ate the food. I vomitted less than an hour later. Never again. PS– some of their food is stored in boxes outside the back door of their building. Something tells me that that ain’t right.

This place has the best coconut juice in all of maimi. I don’t know what they do, but you can’t get enough. Secondly, the pork skins are amazing, but so bad for you. Hey nobody is forcing me to eat it.

I can only review the juice. Mango mame was delicious and only $ 2.50. They have a bunch of natural fruit juices and you can mix any you choose. For that reason I have to give it 5 stars.

I love the freshness of this place. The fresh produce juices etc. they also have a decent really cheap breakfast. However I’m not a fan of the heated food. They have a huge variety but it looks greasy and unhealthy. Although I wouldn’t doubt it’s tasty… The seating area is outside so on a very hot day it’s not that comfortable. For local Cubans this is a norm for others like Anthony Bourdain it’s amazing. Depends what you’re looking for. You want typical, local Cuban food in a Cuban place this is for you.

DONOTEATHERE! The food might look good but you will get sick. I ordered the pork with congri on February 19 and my husband was sick throwing up for 4 days. 2 weeks later my teenager ordered the pork from there and got so sick and was throwing up for days. My mother also told me my stepfather got sick a few months ago from the food there too. He also ate the pork. They filed a complaint to the department of health and I had no idea. Don’t risk it. You will be barfing and shitting your pants for days.

The food looked good and it was tasty, We got pork, congri and platanitos. The problem was that all of my family got sick the next day. I am sure the rest of the food is really good but we will not be going back

Good but not great. I got a cubano which was ok. Meat was pretty cold and the bread was barely toasted, but the flavor was good. Service was quick and friendly. Paired it with a fresh squeezed orange juice which was delish. I bumped them up to 4 stars because portions are great for the price. Definitely will try again.

I was waiting in line while the clerk was on her cellphone. Then when I paid she wad on the cell again. I had to wait both times. Then she didn’t give me a spoon with my take out. When I asked for it she got bothered and justified herself saying my order was to go. Then she sarcastically asked if I wanted two and gave me three. She followed up with another very sarcastic«have a nice day». I was wondering how an employee could act that way and asked who she was. Another clerk explained she was the manager’s mother. That makes sense. No other employee would have dared been so rude.

Don’t think I want to go here again. They are disorganized and super slow. The girl that was helping me looked like she did not want to be there and was super rude and super slow. The only reason I didn’t leave was because my grandmother wanted food from here so I stayed because of her. They also screwed up the order. Although their food is delicious I found them to be a bit over priced.

If you want fresh food and fruits this is the place. Big portions, cheap and fresh. I’m so glad they opened up this location. The breakfast is $ 3.99 Cuban tostada, café con leche, 3 eggs, ham and bacon. Can’t beat that. I don’t know how they profit serving so much food. If u r craving good Cuban food or fresh fruit this is the place.

This one opened not too long ago. You drive by it and it looks like a colorful circus tent. The portions are big, huge. Did I mention enormous. Three people can feed of these plates. The ropa vieja was delicous. Water it down with a jugo de mamey.
