My review is based on a few experiences in Dec. 2015/Jan. 2016. I’m not sure what was going on here before but I can tell you, now, it is amazing! Service is on, whether the beach bar is packed or not, they manage to be courteous and efficient. But the food is the real surprise. its 4 Seasons quality and its a beach bar which is even more exciting.

We had lunch today, and it was disappointing to say the least. We started with lukewarm water, and we asked for ice at least three times, but it never came. I had a glass of rose’ and, besides not being cold enough, it wasn’t particularly good either. My husband had a burger, and it sat like a brick on his stomach for the rest of the day. My chicken skewer was big enough to feed an anorexic 6-year old. The chips that came with the guacamole were harder than concrete, the guac wasn’t bad, but certainly not memorable. Our friends had the shrimp skewer that appeared decent, but appetizer size as well. All of this scrumptious lunch with two beers, a glass of wine and a mojito was $ 200, before tip. I don’t mind paying, but it has to be good, this just wasn’t. I understand that they just opened, and they need to get their act together but the menu needs serious improving. At the moment, it looks like they’re counting on people being so absorbed by the view that they forget to eat.

Imagine dining in world class food served at the edge of a pool overlooking the bluest ocean. The staff is prompt and happily keeps your drinks full as you enjoy the best and most fresh food in Miami. Truly a welcome experience after a day in the sun. We were treated like royalty as we sat in a cabana while enjoying our superb fish tacos. The monkeys dined on chicken fingers from the kids menu which were gourmet versions usual kiddie food prepared with the juiciest strips of chicken breast. Our kids feasted as we devoured our delicious fish tacos. It all seemed like a dream, but this high quality food was obviously the vision of Chef Tom Colicchio. Kudos Chef in such a breathtaking restaurant with food to properly compliment the amazing setting.
