Stay was for 1 month in March of 2015. Positive: — Great location in Miami Beach, not too crowdy but close enough to the action — Short walk to the beach — Pool is very nice and plenty of patio furniture for relaxation — Good value for what I paid at a peak time during spring break — Spacious 1k square feet — Friendly neighbors at the time, most were vacationing as well — The«Hotel 1» is currently being built into part of the large complex and will have restaurants, bars and amenities. Was still in construction while we stayed but will be very nice once completed. Negative: — No view of the ocean from the balcony, was aware of this prior to obligating, but you do get a bit jealous as almost all the other rooms do have some sort of an ocean view(as long as you are on the east side) — Fire Alarms went off daily, sometimes 25 times in just one day that drove me and my girlfriend batty. The complex has some major issue with the wiring for the alarm system and from day one until the day we left they could not correct the issue, although the alarms were getting less frequent when we left. One of the nights the complex was evacuated from 7pm until midnight because of a so-called fire in the new restaurant, but nobody ever had a clear answer regarding it. — Valet is the absolute worst I could have ever imagined, if you can do without a vehicle, I highly recommend it. Average time to get your car is 30 – 60 minutes(despite them quoting you 10 minutes or under) and many times I called an hour before and would come down and they had not even pulled the keys for it. Always a different excuse, even trying to put me at fault multiple times because I didn’t tell them what type of vehicle it was or how the tag was marked(although I did mention it every time). Because of the major construction, my car was filthy with concrete dust each time I picked it up from valet and they wouldn’t do anything about it. The staff was polite, but once I stopped tipping them because of the poor service they changed. But it didn’t really matter because the service was terrible from day one. — No where to store a bicycle, and highly wish there was, since driving is so stressful in the Miami Beach area and crappy valet. They have Citi Bike practically everywhere in the city, but we had nothing but problems using it so we walked everywhere.

The photos advertised by Roney Palace Condo Sales are very deceptive. The majority of the amenities are part of the Perry Hotel, who makes it very difficult for Roney Palace owners to use. Several photos are of the rooftop pool, where Roney owners are ONLY allowed on Saturday’s after 6pm. Also, to use the gym is about $ 100 per month and only about $ 20 bucks less for a week. There are many advertisements regarding $ 100mil Roney improvements; however, the majority of the funds will be for the Perry Hotel half and balcony/door updates(only because required by the city). Don’t bet on all advertised improvements or being free to use the Perry Hotel-half of the building’s lavish amenities.
