Looking for a fancy restaurant to get dressed up for? Here it is. Everything on the menu is literally caught from the ocean and brought back to this place. You might even get to see your waitor walk out into the ocean to catch you the biggest shrimp possible. When you order, you won’t be able to pronounce any of the words on the menu. Just pick the highest priced meal. They will never ask you if you’re ready for the check. That’s a good thing. «Is the food really really that good?» You’ll taste unique mouth-watering flavors that you’ve never tasted before.

I had a few items from the Traymore during my stay at the COMO. The soba noodles from their healthier menu are SO good. So light, fresh and filling. Their arugula, tomato and mozzarella salad was also so good and fresh. I tried their pad Thai with chicken and it was a little too salty for my taste. The Brussel sprouts were also delicious. Lastly, had the mango cheesecake. It was pretty good! And the service was superb!!!

Terrible service on a Sunday night when it was not very busy. This was the longest dinner I’ve had in Miami, and not because I wanted to be there. I would rather have good seafood at a restaurant that pays attention to tables.

Me and my husband came here for lunch, we found this place through Unilocal reviews. The food are AMAZING and the service from our server Zach is topnotch. He took a really good care of us. The restaurant is very modern and clean look. The music they played also match really well set the with the deco and food theme. They have 2 menus, I ordered my lunch from the healthy menu(not that I care) but they have the Asian cold soba noodle with fresh salmons and Japanese dress. It was perfect! Very light and delicious! My husband ordered clams linguini(also amazing). When the food came out he had to take business call and the manager put his food back to the kitchen to keep it warm which shown me how much they care. EXCELLENT service guys! Thank you Zach! We will be back again.

Traymore is an excellent restaurant! The service was above and beyond great. I got the fresh yellowtail which was amazing. The oysters were great and the shrimp was very big and flavorful. I’m very happy with my experience at Traymore.

Good breakfast restaurant. Good service, sometimes slow but the staff is very nice and genuine. Small, simple and short breakfast menu, but this is good because it makes it easier to chose, they dont have any exotic dishes to choose from, just your average breakfast items, but theyre good. Amazing, beautiful, delicious, drinks!!!

The service can be spotty on weekdays, as we found out when we dined at the Traymore Wednesday evening. No scented towels – which are not hot anymore even if you get them. One waiter for both inside and outside on the terrace – a waiter who likes to gab, and who got lost outside, when he should have brought our bill. However, the food was still reliably good. But we went with a larger party several weeks ago and everyone was impressed with both the service and the food.

We came because Unilocal reviews. Definitely on the pricey end. Not a huge menu. Everything we tried was very tasty. It was definitely rich tasting it good eats. We tried the key west shrimp which was good and the squash soup was very very good. We also had the filet mignon and Brussels sprouts. Both were good but a little salty. The bartender made a delicious Cosmo ! Overall we would come back for sure, but not first on our list.

Food was spectacular all around. Octopus appetizer was delicious and plentiful, the grouper and snapper entrees were great. Absolutely loved the desserts. Truffle fries were delicious. Service was super attentive and well informed. We really enjoyed their specialty gin selections and the bartender helped us carefully choose new gins we had never tried. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and view. The only caveat is that the valet parking is expensive, Better to Über. Highly recommend.

Incredible service and food! We arrived very late after a canceled flight and then two hours sitting on the tarmac during our rescheduled flight. Decided to eat in the hotel restaurant rather than going out. Was not expecting anything special, but was seriously surprised. Great cocktails, especially if you’re into gin. The fish was amazing. We tried the Key West shrimp and the octopus appetizers. The octopus was the best I’ve ever had. Then on to the entrees: the cedar plank fish smelled so good you almost didn’t have to eat it. If you want some really great, local seafood, in a very nice, relaxed atmosphere, you should try this place.

3.5 stars! We had brunch reservations for a party of 8 and we were immediately seated upon arrival. The restaurant has a really great upscale and modern feel to it. We sat outside with beautiful views of the Miami palm trees and surrounding cabanas. Brunch cocktails were priced at $ 12 each or $ 20 for bottomless. Drinks include Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Bellini, or the Traymore Gin Punch, The majority of our table opted for the bottomless brunch option — the servers were patient and took different individual orders during each round of drinks. I tried all four drinks and they were all great. The menu for brunch included all your typical selections — eggs, French toast, benedict, etc. and also a Cuban sandwich option($ 13) which was delicious. Portions were small — a disappointing aspect. We ordered a side of sausage($ 6) and the side only came with one small sausage link. I guess the menu was accurate because«sausage» was not plural. Aside from the decent service and atmosphere, two other things that stood out include 1. Warm wet towels are provided before your meals to clean your hands or any sand you may have on your body 2. When we sat outside, they brought several purse racks to hang our accessories. Food is definitely pricey and the portions are small, but our bachelorette party had a great overall brunch experience with delicious drinks!

If you miss the opportunity to experience this restaurant during Miami Spice, just put on your hair shirt and start flogging. The Miami Spice menu with the wine paring is an incredible bargain and a delightful experience. Good food, great wine and impeccable service. Wow.

We only had a desert and an espresso which cost $ 27. The presentation was superb the white chocolate mousse was not worth the price. Great hotel and service.

Had breakfest there cuz we were tired of our hotel. The food was ok, the staff friendly but it didn’t knock me out of my socks. Also the landscapers with the leave blowers were pretty annoying(understanding that they have to do their work at some time of the day but anyway).

I had dinner with my colleague here and enjoyed it immensely! We started the night with an octopus salad, arugula and tuna tartare and all of them were outstanding. Our etrees of planked swordfish and florida snapper were prepared perfectly. The service was attentive, professional and amusing to boot! Would highly recommend!

We invited a very good customer with his wife for lunch, the service was TERRIBLE the place was empty and we only saw one waiter, it took over a half hour to get our food, meantime the dirty dishes from the appetizers were still on the table, had to ask for water all the time. The food was o.k. but not worth the price. The portions are extremely small. There are many other places around with much better food and excellent service.

I hate to have to give this place a bad review, especially when I get frustrated by other people taking one small act and having it represent the entire meal but the way the waitress handled my question about the $ 9 side of French fries that literally had 9 fries in it was enough for me to lower the rating a star. I would have normally given this place a 3 and maybe even 4 based on the food alone but it was a bit overpriced and i am very over offended. Don’t get me wrong the food is good but I when I asked if this was a normal portion of fries(see picture) for $ 9 and the server responds«yes sir, that is a fine dining portion of French fries» in a smug way and suggests I can get another order of their portions are not to my liking I was a bit taken back. She spoke to me in a way to be insulting and demeaning. A half empty restaurant with a group of locals should attempt to have people come back, especially when the restaurant is overpriced

Let me get right into the business of this review. This Resturant is located in the lobby area of the very trendy/contemporary Metropolitan by Como Hotel. Being the Hotel is located in the South Beach area parking was very limited so we opted for the valet parking at the hotel for $ 20. Upon entering the lobby you past the front desk and walk straight ahead right into the open entrance of the Resturant. We we’re politely greeted by the hostess and immediately taken to our table. Immediately we were greeted by our server Bryan who was a Rock Star from beginning to end. Our drink order was taken and with a few minutes we were given a basket of bread(two types) which were both very tasty. When I say the service in this place was five star there are very few restaurants that pay that close attention to detail. They provided purse stands and the table hook for the women purses that had scraps. The managers do not just walk around looking and not interacting with the patrons(which annoy the crap out me sorry pet peeve). The managers stopped by a number of times but not in an annoying way but timely and appropriate. I can go on and on about the service and their attention to detail but visit this place and see for yourself. The food I am mixed about but no necessarily in a bad way, I will go into detail about this. We ordered for starters the corn and lobster chowder and Key West Shrimp. The server presented a plate with corn kernels and pieces of lobster and poured the creamy chowder table side. My Key West Shrimp was easily in the top three shrimp dishes I have had ever and that’s big coming from someone that gee up in Louisiana. The balance of flavors were unbelievable and that’s no exaggeration trust me on this one a must order. For our main courses I upgraded to the bone-in ribeye, bone marrow butter shiitake mushroom and a red wine butter sauce. This ribeye was cooked a perfectly medium and the red wine sauce was divine. Being it was a special and not on the menu I did not ask the price and compared to top steak restaurants I expected it to be at least $ 65 to $ 75, but certainly not $ 100 I was. charged. Thank goodness I enjoyed it. My wife had the young chicken which was a little shocking the size of it. My wife could have placed it in her palm and it easier fit with out any hanging over and not counting the finger area. That being said the chicken was well seasoned and very tender no complaint on taste at all just size. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts which were barely enough to share as the server stated, but were cooked to a perfect tenderness and well seasoned. We also had the hand cut fries which were fried to a golden brown and salted perfectly. This is no exaggeration I may have had 10 fries. Dessert is a must but do not expect the standard dessert fair and portion size. Dessert is all about the presentation and flair. Being a dessert person I can appreciate the dessert size for the price, but someone else may not get it. I had the deconstructed lemon pie very good and 5 star plating. The strawberry foam was light a airy not too sweet. The pepper sorbet I was skeptical of but it honestly was a perfect balance with the dessert. The pastry chef knows his desserts. My wife had the Carmelia(might be the wrong spelling), but it was also very good my wife said the Mango sorbet was the best. I know my review on the food was mixed and you may be wondering why I gave them five stars. I gave them five star because we had a TRUE five star dining experience from the atmosphere, décor, service, food quality and taste. The portions sizes were to some extent on point with a true upscale dining experience(exception the chicken and fries). I hesitate to call this place pretentious but if I will its in the best of ways. I will definitely visit this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a true fine dining experience.

My friend & I stopped in to this hidden gem unexpectedly after having a bad customer service experience and being turned away at another restaurant. First, the atmosphere is beautiful. Very friendly staff! Hot rosemary scented towels before your meal — this was beginning to be too good to be true. We ordered the steak and the fried fish entrée. I’m allergic to shellfish so 80% of the appetizers were out of the question for me. I will say that they have a cheese platter on the dessert menu that I would have ordered had I seen it. We also ordered the brussel sprouts as a side. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was plated absolutely perfectly. Gorgeous presentation! We tasted it and it was AMAZING!!! the waiter was very nice and the manager came by to check on our meal as well. I can’t believe I stumbled upon this place by accident. I will be back very soon. Also they have a large square 12 seater table in the back perfect for parties. Much more intimate than a rectangular table… thanks Traymore for a wonderful evening!!!

I went for a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast. I wasn’t in a hurry, but I still would have preferred attentive service. I waited a while for someone to acknowledge me at the door and I waited for over 15 minutes with an empty plate, empty water glass and with my credit card sitting on the table in full view before I got a chance to ask the guy who came to fill my water for the check. Also, there were dirty tables sitting around me the entire time I was there even though it was very slow. The dish I ordered was good and unique, but did not come with avocado as promised on the menu. I never got a chance to see how they would rectify that because no one ever checked on me before I finished my meal or even asked how it was when I finally got my check. The check was simply dropped in front of me. Even though I need to find breakfast spots close to me I won’t be coming back to this one!
