Wow stay the hell away from this place! It’s super over priced and the food wasn’t that great at all. They advertise 2 for 1 drink specials but one damn drink was 55 bucks so there goes your second free drink paid for upfront. It’s most definitely a tourist trap. Too bad I can’t give this place ¼ of a star otherwise I would.

I will give negative star, since it’s over price. Cocktail $ 55 and 18%service charge Buy one get one free is not for you and your friend. U can only get the second drink after the first drink is finished by yourself

I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this place… happy hour margarita $ 55?! I even asked the server why would the price be the same during happy hour, it does not make sense. I gave it a 2 star because I liked the latin music they were playing and the fried calamari was good, but be careful and ask questions when ordering drinks.

I must agree everything here is too expensive… BUT…you don’t have to buy those fishbowl $ 65 drinks! Lol! We were looking at everyone’s drink and my boyfriend and I knew we couldn’t finish a drink ourselves let alone two of them so we only ordered food! My salad was $ 17 bucks and my boyfriends cheeseburger was $ 15 and yes you can eat just as good for a cheaper price! It was cool though. Total bill $ 41.13 with tip included so I gave them $ 42. I’ll never be back.

We came here on vacation, and like many other people, we were tricked and scammed. They definitely make their money off of unsuspecting tourists which is how such a business is still operating. Every other place near the beach had the same drinks for 1⁄3rd of the price!!! The waitress was also absolutely horrible. She was unprofessional and obviously tried to scam us since everything she recommended wasn’t even on the menu. She recommended the $ 55 drink to me(of course she didn’t tell me the price) and an overpriced platter which costed well over $ 60. After that, we wanted to speak to the manager, who wouldn’t even bother coming outside to speak to us. Definitely not a great way to start the vacation.

Definitely the most expensive place we went to all weekend in Miami. Memorial day weekend, there’s hella people, and we just arrived so we’re like okay big drinks asap. Well those fun big drinks start at $ 55 and gratuity is included so expect to pay uppp. We got the cheapest salads and apps to nibble on, all very mediocre. Atmosphere was cool being outside by the beach and people watching, but that’s basically every restaurant on Ocean Drive. They promised up free tequila shots when we arrived for Happy Hour but had to remind them and they seemed mad that we remembered. Service was awful, inattentive, and slow towards the end. They only paid attention when we first arrived and asked us multiple times if we were ready to order.

Do not let these people fool you into thinking you’re getting a deal! Total rip off! $ 55 for one drink??? On top of that they give themselves an 18% gratuity even with horrible service. Last time I checked adding gratuity to a tab without customers acknowledgment is stealing. If you’re a tourist and visiting Miami, run away from this place!!!

What a scam. The servers try to entice you with a two for one happy hour special but what they don’t tell you is that one drink is $ 55… Tip: keep walking when they try to trap you.

This place is the epitome of a scam. Don’t believe anything the waiters tell you when walk down Ocean Dr. Frankly I can’t believe my friends and I were stupid enough to fall for their shit. After coaxing you with special deals and seating you, that’s it. You fell into the mouth of the Venus flytrap. Service is horrible and the waiters willingly neglect to tell you the size of the drinks you order or their prices. ***P.S. THEYDIDNTEVENCARDUS***

These are the times when I wish I pulled up Unilocal reviews. But, we were drunk, hungry, and got wooed into this place. THISPLACEDOESN’T EVENHAVEBAGUETTES! Should have been a sign! What a scam! The servers will say«instead of getting small appetizers, how about an appetizer platter?» Which strategically ISNOT on the menu! Instead of five $ 6 appetizers to share, we got the appetizer platter which consisted of overly greasy calamari, coconut shrimp, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, and fries for… GUESSHOWMUCH? $ 75!!! $SEVENTYFREAKINGFIVEDOLLARS!!! Sucks that this place will stay in business with all the tourist money.

Ok so I unfortunately did not read the reviews before I stopped here. Payed $ 40 for one beer and an iced tea. Yes the glass of iced tea w/no alcohol was $ 10 and the beer was $ 20. Plus the taxes and service charge made it close to $ 40. Tourist trap, very aggressive to get you to sit down. My husband walked away for 3 min after we were done and realized that he forgot his retainer and when we went back everyone denied ever seeing the huge blue container that holds them. A lesson learned the hard way

COMPLETERIPOFF! My #1 regret is not checking Unilocal prior to sitting down. Extremely deceiving. $ 490 for three people! I would give –5 stars if that was an option. The only redeeming quality was that it was on Miami beach and the waitress was nice… that’s basically it.

This place taught me one thing. Always, Always, Always check the reviews before you walk into a place usually I do but I was on oceandrive caught up in the hype and spur in the moment and didn’t check this on Unilocal. They have beautiful women wearing low cut shirts and booty shorts that show their buttcheeks. They stand right out in front and will bend over as if to pick up something to entice you if you are a man. They have smooth talking guy that looks like Ricky Martin saying«Hey 2 for 1’s and free shot» Of course the food menu shows the prices that are very reasonable but they get you with the drinks(which is on a separate menu and prices aren’t listed on the same page). They bring out the drinks in a big humongous glass’s. Not telling you that you have options of 4 different sizes(this is where the scam begins). My buddy ordered the Cuban sandwich, my other buddy got a seafood dish and I got the steak sandwich(it tasted microwavable). Let me just tell you the steak sandwich tasted like nothing. For a restaurant on ocean Drive you expect something more inspiring instead of something that taste like trash. The bill came to nearly $ 300 my buddy almost had a heart attack because he was the one paying. Needless to say we decided to run for it and skip on the bill. I got away but my buddy got chased by the waiter with the killer smile screaming«Polizea Polizea». The manager came and knocked off a $ 100 of the bill. Needless to say we won’t be going there again.

******DON’T STOP, KEEPWALKING ****** I’ve actually made a formal complaint to the Miami Dade consumer complaints, BBB and the Miami tourist board about this place. When our check arrived I was appalled. Not one mention of the price of the drinks was made during our time there, the thing that gets me the most is the $ 150 Paella… what the eff??? Avoid this place at all costs. This is the biggest scam I have ever ever seen. They should be ashamed of themselves. $ 82.01 tip??? This has to be illegal. I’ve eaten at some of the best places around this country and in Europe, the food is mediocre at best. Keep walking people, keep walking.

Tourist Trap. All the 1-star reviews here are pretty accurate. The waiter try to reel you in with there 2 for 1 «happy hour» deal which isn’t a real happy hour. They sit you down and once you see the menu you realize that the food prices are pretty expensive for what you get. But that’s extremely mild until you see the drink prices. The happy hour they claim is only for the XL drink which looked liked 64oz for $ 55. Wait what a drink for $ 55? Might I add the drink prices on the menu are super tiny. Then you would think«oh its ok I guess because I get the other one for free!(there was me and my gf). Then we asked for the second drink and the waitress said no the second one was only for«to-go». At this point I was pissed but the waitress just gave it to us anyways which I guess is better than taking it «to-go». This isn’t Vegas. I say the to go cup and that was not a 64oz cup, more like a 32oz cup. At the end of the day for a mediocre burger, pasta and 1 drinks came out as $ 122 with the included 18% gratuity they tacked on at the end. For $ 122 we could have had a Brazilian Steak Buffet for 2 and it still would have been cheaper. Never again.

I’m from NY, so I am accustomed to fast talking hustlers who will do, or say anything, to separate you from your money, but this place left a sour taste in my mouth. However, after reading all these reviews below… I don’t feel as bad because it was a much smaller amount they jerked me out of. On my second day in SoBe, we set out on our journey for breakfast, and this place was one block down on Ocean Drive. They had workers on the corner with their menu and a sign with a $ 5.95 breakfast. This sounded good and we sat down, the deal consisted of eggs, home fries and toast. Since I’m on vacation, I’ll definitely take a drink and we went with the mimosas and had one each. The menu didn’t have a price, but I’m expecting to pay about $ 50 with gratuity. Well, they had other ideas. It was some time ago, and I cannot recall the total, but each mimosa was $ 20 or $ 30 bucks which is outrageous. As stated, I’m from NYC and dining isn’t cheap, but I can get unlimited mimosas for two hours for breakfast or brunch at the same damn price! Lesson learned: when something sounds too good, it probably is. Also, when the menu has no price, inquire! Otherwise, you get ripped off from establishments, such as this.

Considering this place has a overall one star rating they might be thrilled I gave two. Yes, it’s a tourist trap on Ocean Dr. like the majority of restaurants in that street. I wanted to take a friend to a better place in Miami using my Unilocal app but his mind was set on this restaurant. Two stars for the people watching and South Beach vibe. Most restaurants on Ocean Dr. add gratuity so check the receipt. Servers don’t care about quick and good service because they know they are getting 20 or 21 percent tip. They really try to persuade you with the specials which don’t have pricing so your stuck with the entrees such as lobster or seafood sampler. Beware the food is nothing to highlight in a positive light about. — Tilapia with mash potatoes was blah. It was flavorless and made without thought. No creative element to speak of. — Shrimp linguine was blah x 2. Shrimp were overcooked and pasta was undercooked. The entrees indicated that I did not want to try to stay for the dessert. $ 80 – 90 bucks wasted, but at least my tourist friend liked the atmosphere.
