It started out bad with the woman that sat us, she was rude and in a bad mood. She actually walked off while we were asking her a question after she sat us. Our waiter came, he was nice but not with it at all. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. He brought my mom and my drink and said he would be right back with my daughters milk. Our appetizer came with no small plates or silverware. Still no milk. Finally he showed up with the salad so we told him we needed silverware and the milk. At this point we have eaten all the appetizer and my daughter ended up drinking my mom’s water. Now when we ordered I asked about the special I saw on the board, after 4 times of him having to go to the POS he finally went to the board to look. Then I asked if I could get the chicken piccata without sun dried tomatoes. If not I would take the tour of Italy. He said it wouldn’t be a problem. The chicken piccata came with extra sundries tomatoes, so many that you couldn’t see the chicken. I sent it back and they brought me the dish back with no capers either. I gave up at that point. The chicken was dry. Not ever going back. Ps. They charge $ 1.99 for the games on the ordering tablet at the table. It doesn’t ask for an adult the kid can just start playing and you find the charge on your bill.

My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary just this past Saturday, and while the restaurant was about as busy as you’d expect for a Saturday night, the service was excellent. Our server, Chris, was very friendly, and came by often enough to check on us without being annoying about it. As for the food, we both had the Never-Ending Pasta, a perennial favorite of ours, and everything we ordered was delicious. We would especially recommend the new mezzaluna ravioli. In fact, our only complaint about our experience has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but rather, with a customer at another table.

This wasn’t my first time at Olive Garden, but it sure felt like it. As soon as we stepped in you can smell the good, especially the cheese. We right away got seated and served. Exceptional service by our waiter, Aaron, who was funny and made sure everything was great. I’m definitely going back, we got so much from food to experience for the best price.

My to go order was a little late coming out, but they were busy so it was understandable. Some of the employees were rude. Not to me but I saw and heard it with other customers.

This restaurant smells AWFUL!!! Why any restaurant has carpet is a mystery. The food might have been good but all I can focus on is the putrid, musty smell that permeates the entire place.

We didn’t even stay long enough to eat. We waited nearly 15 mins and no one ever came to the table. We eventually left and saw the manager and told him about the incident and he didn’t even apologize. This place has horrible customer service and poor sanitary in its bathroom.

Wonderful meal, The food was good, 100%better than the last time we ate at this chain. Our server Leslie was fantastic, despite it being a busy Friday night she was very attentive and friendly. There was a small backup in the kitchen but she explained the delay and our food came out shortly after that. I have waited longer at other places and the others food was not nearly as good as our meal was. i had my grandchild with me and it was very family friendly and she liked getting to choose her meal the way she wanted it. She practically cleaned her plate which we don’t often see from our picky eater!

We went here a few days ago and it was the worst experience of my life. I LOVE Olive Garden so I won’t let this effect my business with difference locations. We went later in the evening thinking the crowds would have died down but we were obviously wrong. We were told we would only have to wait for 20 minutes but that turned into 1 hour. Then when we were being seated we asked for a table instead of a booth so they put us in a small corner in one of the back rooms and they had to find an extra chair(which was broken). We sat down and the three waiters/waitresses that were serving us didn’t ask for our drink orders until about 10 minutes about we sat down, but then when they did all three of them asked at least once and when they brought our drinks out they were wrong. We had to wait another 10 minutes to put in our order for appetizers and then another 15 minutes to place our entrée order. We got our appetizers after waiting for almost 30 minutes after placing the order and they were cold. We rarely got refills on our drinks and when we did they were the wrong drinks, again, multiple times. I will not be going back to this location again. For the amount of money we spent, it was NOT worth it. We will go to other locations that have better staff.

Sandra G. Was our waitress, not too great if you ask me. Couldn’t get a water refilled after 30 minutes after asking. Gone around 3:00p.m. long line to wait but several available tables and chairs. Food was small on plate but good. Bathrooms really dirty pee on floor. Silverware dirty as well. Bad visit. Won’t be coming back to this location. Take my advise go else where.

The food at this location is horrible. Stay away at all costs. It doesn’t even rate a 1 — star. I don’t understand how they are still in business. Yuck yuck yuck!!! Every dish we ordered was way overcooked, and over priced!!!

This place is under mew management. It was so nasty in the bathroom we left. I told the waiter she said she told the manager 3 times already. Hate to see the kitchen.

Great food. The waiter could have been better… I ordered Caramel Machiatto coffee and never received it. We had to wait for a fork set after our meal came. Waiter Mario had forgotten about us. It was very slow service. He could use some multi-tasking skills.

Got a invite from new manager to talk about first post. He had read my first posting and wanted to talk about it. Lloyd took over after my first posting. He was very understanding and listened to my recounting of that night. The food was much better and you could see they had changed a lot things. Someone was always going thru checking if everything was going well for everyone, not just myself and my wife. Thanks Lloyd, see ya again soon

Never Ending Pasta Bowl for just 9.99 and you can add an Unlimited Extra for 2.99. Also we had GREAT service from Collin. That’s going to be our server from now on. Olive Garden management did a good job hiring him. Lol

So, I got drug to Olive Garden again today for my mom’s birthday. Will we ever learn? The food was alright, better than last time, but not worth the $ 13.95 we paid for our meal. So a funny thing happened that I just could NOT believe. Our server was in the weeds for the first 20 minutes after we were sat. He brought everything out: drinks, salads and soups, but it took the whole 20 minutes to get some breadsticks. Well… we were celebrating 2 birthdays tonight and one of the birthday girls was really needing her some breadsticks. After asking a few servers, my mom had asked to speak to a manager. The manager showed up about another 15 – 20 minutes later. My mom told him that our server was really busy and needed some help getting the breadsticks out. This is what what the manager told my mom and I quote: «I apologize that your server isn’t helping you, I’ll jump him.» I couldn’t believe that the MANAGER had told my mom that he was going to JUMP the server. This most definitely did NOT give us a warm fuzzy feeling. Our server was a fantastic server and didn’t need ‘jumped’. The only reason my mom complained was it took so long for the breadsticks. Now, I will say that the server Brett(ask for him, he was really good despite this whole wonky situation) was authorized to give us free dessert which was a real treat for our birthday girls. This is the reason and the ONLY reason that I have upped my rating a star and I almost feel that isn’t deserved because of the whole jumping of the server. I think I will be thinking about that for the next few days. The manager was going to ‘jump’ the server. Really guys? Really? Way to go for the professionalism, and to think, I’m the one without a job!

What can I say? It’s an Olive Garden. I’d give 3.5 stars if I could. They do have a few new dishes which are pretty good, hubby got the balsamic beef medallions which were very yummy with a gorgonzola pasta that you could actually taste the gorgonzola in. Yummy yummy! We had a really nice waitress, she was just a little ditzy and didn’t pay much attention to us. She spent most of our dinner coo’ing over a baby a few tables over. Was the baby cute? Yes. Did I really really really want a water refill? Definitely, yes. I ordered some Pork Milanese which was surprisingly good for a chain and definitely tempted me to give them a fourth star. The lack of customer service though and the fact that I could probably get these dishes at another Olive Garden that would actually wait on the tables, keeps it at 3. Not the best location, but it’s good to know Olive Garden is adding some good flavors to their generic menu!

I’ve always been a fan of Olive Garden. First time to this location in Mesquite though. Ordered the soup, salad, and breadsticks for lunch. And I will always stick with the Zuppa Toscana soup because it’s the best! I ordered the chicken and dumplings soup second and the chicken was very questionable looking, although my lunch mate said it was delicious. There was too much dressing in the salad. My lettuce was soggy from all the dressing. And our waiter kept forgetting the breadsticks. We had to ask for them. And when he said he would bring us another basket after we’d finished the first, he never did. By that time, I was full and didn’t want anymore, but dang. However, we stayed for a while talking after we had paid, and the waiter came back to refill our waters which was nice of him, so I forgive him for the breadsticks.
