An Absolute Wonderful meal and friendly staff. We were visiting from Cali and did some groupons to try different places and this concept was so unique to us we had to try. I am sure glad we did!.. They have the BEST cheesy vegetable soup, fresh produce, quality meats and breads I can’t believe they do not put a value on their meals. We were happy to donate more money than our silly groupons to this amazing endeavor. A complete breath of fresh air is what we experienced in this little caring sandwich shop! You dont have money? Work an hour and we will feed you!.. Awesome concept! California has alot to learn. Thank You, for showing us true American love.

This deli is one of a kind, at least for the area. We saw it highlighted on the news, and have been interested to try it ever since. There are no prices on their menu board. It is a ‘pay what you want’ /‘pay what you can’ community deli. We split a turkey avocado. For a sandwich that could have been free, I was quite impressed(almost like eating at a Hugo’s type deli). The bread was soft, the turkey was piled on, the veggies were very fresh(including the fresh avocado), and the portion was generous size. The lady behind the counter was very sweet, and friendly. She came by with a platter of tasty cookies when she cleared our dishes for us. We happily paid ‘extra’ and like knowing that it would be paid forward for someone less fortunate to have an opportunity to enjoy something there.

Great little deli! Staff is always warm and welcoming. My favorite is the Deli Club. Several bread options and meats and veggies are very fresh.

Just had lunch there — a hot roast beef sandwich with sautéed onions and cheddar cheese, pickle wedge and pepper which came with a choice of bagged chips(many flavors/varieties) and a drink. SUPERCHOCOLATEPEANUTBUTTERBAR! Delightful staff and owner. Pleasant environment. I’ll definitely go back!

Pot Belly Deli has just opened on Franklin & Linder in Meridian, and I was hoping for a terrific deli experience. The women behind the counter were nice, and the food was made quickly, but frankly, I could have made the same sandwich at home. It was nothing special. I had a Philly Cheesesteak, and everything was placed onto the bread cold(including the previously sauteed onions), then heated up in the microwave. I’ll give it one more chance, but with other terrific choices here in town(2 Fat Guys, The Curb, Kahootz), you have to really have something good to compete for my dollar. Jazz it up some, Pot Belly Deli! Maybe toast the bread, put more meat on the sandwiches and whip up some homemade gourmet mayo?
