Great food good portions and good quality. I’ll be back. Worth the drive to Mercer Island from Seattle.

I would probably give 3.5 stars rather than 4 but 3 stars is just too low. I have always had good food here. I have not tried the phở or phad thai yet but I’m officially addicted to their egg noodle soup with won tons and BBQ pork. I can go about two weeks maybe three before I need to feed the monkey. The broth is rich and clear just the way it should be. I am fairly certain their BBQ pork is made in house and not prefab. It’s very tender and moist. Their egg rolls crisped to perfection every time. Spring rolls are fresh and flavorful. Rice noodle salad with grilled tofu was very good. The Banh Mi superior to others I’ve had. Seems like such a simple thing to make a sandwich but not so. This place always does well. The sauces have the right consistency and flavors. The food is always fresh tasting and good quality. The restaurant is always clean and I never have had to wait to be greeted. So thankful to have a good restaurant on the Island. This has become my go to joint.

I luv this place like how I luv phở!(no pun intended.) Our server was really sweet, and this is a very cute, clean, hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant in Mercer Island. Oh! And they have wifi which is cool. Would definitely recommend for all phở luvers. :)

no!!! the 100% veggie phở taste like hot water!!! 2 stars because the tofu itself is really good, and the noodle and everything else was fresh

Okay so you know when you’re dead hungover and the only thing that sounds good is phở? Yeah, same. I was in no position to actually eat anything but I knew I wanted phở broth. This was in my bookmarks and like two minutes away from work so it was perfect. The inside of I LUV(spell it right, gees) Phở is really cute and very clean. Pretty much what I’d expect from a phở place on Mercer Island. It smelled really fresh in there too which is uncharacteristic for a phở spot, in my opinion. I’ve never ordered just phở broth before — I’ve had friends who have and they got weird looks so I was preparing myself for that. Come to find on the menu they have a small and large BROTHONLY listing. Heaven. It was listed at $ 5 for a small but my bill only came out to $ 4.38! The broth was delicious. Super flavorful and not too sweet, just how I like it. I can’t wait to come back and try a proper bowl of phở when my body is back to its pure ways. The only thing I noticed is that they are fairly slow with service — greeting and seating, getting a menu, and ordering take fairly longer than I’ve noticed most other places. P. S. It’s now three hours post-phở broth and I feel SO much better. Hangover remedy confirmed.

Wow?!! I have to say when it comes to quick phở, this is fast and furious. The quality isn’t the best I’ve ever had, fairly average, but the service puts it up there for sure. I think it was the meat that wasn’t hitting the spot with me completely since all the veggies were fresh. Either way, it was delicious and I definitely would come back to this little phở place that is next to the Island’s famous Roberto’s.

I tried this restaurant as a recommendation of a friend and loved it. Casual environment — good food, large portions! I ordered chicken curry and the cabbage salad and had major leftovers! The staff was really nice and the place was clean. Will be back!

Phở is average. Service is mean and non responsive. No water refills and rude. I don’t expect much but both servers did not care about anything but dropping food off and not even coming back with the check when they were not busy at all. Boo, I was looking forward to a decent Phở place.

Best phở on mercer island. One of the best in the Seattle area. Enough said.

This place is my hot spot to go when I have a hangover. The phở here works wonders with curing hangovers. Their soup is not too oily like other places and their portions are pretty big. Aside from the phở, the spring rolls and papaya salads are very fresh and flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee here tastes amazing(give it a shot!) and their Vietnamese sandwiches are perfect for lunches, the size of the sandwiches are pretty big and is only about $ 5 and taste amazing! The food comes out pretty fast and the service is good. Staff consistently comes around to check on you and refill your water.

If you expand your search to Bellevue or greater Seattle I am sure you may find a better option. But this is a solid establishment with great Phở and great Vietnamese sandwiches. Great service and good food. Love it.

Avoid everything besides the phở. That’s all I have to say about that. Now on to the phở. It is good despite what others are saying. The broth is flavorful and they give a generous portion of meat. In terms of what’s available on the island, it’s the best phở place. Staff is friendly and very quick. Fine for a quick/average phở lunch. Biggest complaint… they don’t refill your water! Who do no phở places do that???

Great Phở. The broth is the best on the Eastside in my opinion. I enjoyed the shrimp Phở and spring rolls. The service was fast and efficient which is very appreciated when in a hurry. One of my favorite places.

Convenient if you’re stranded on a island or too lazy to go anywhere else. The soup is bland and watery here. Portion size is good for the cost. I would avoid

This place is alright, and as(I think) the only Vietnamese place on the North end of the island, it’s decent if you don’t want to go far to get your Vietnamese food. That being said, it’s just mediocre in the purest sense of the word. Nothing outstanding, and just okay amount of food for the price. I had the Saigon style chicken and rice, and it tasted good, but was just your average soy sauce/oyster sauce-like dish that you could find at any old Asian restaurant. Nothing special. The phở is also mediocre. In the Seattle area, where there is so much good phở and other Vietnamese food to be found, you just can’t get away with mediocrity. If you want phở, get yourself to any of the numerous Phở Than Brothers around the area, and if you want other Vietnamese options, get yourself to Tamarind Tree. It’s not far to go, and it’s just so much better.

I’d give this place 3.5 stars. The restaurant itself is clean; parking is readily available; the staff are friendly and efficient; the menu is quite extensive as well. I was really pleased to see that they offered vegetarian phở(not phở with veggies). I am not a strict vegetarian by any means; however, I do appreciate when a phở restaurant offers vegetarian broth. I ordered a vegetarian phở with fake chicken and extra veggies(+ $ 1.75 or so). The food came out pretty quickly. Although I had better vegetarian broth before, all in all, I was pleased with the quality and quantity of the phở. My only complaint is that the bowl they use is really small. It is hard to mix everything in after dumping all the bean sprouts, jalapeño slices, and basil leaves without spilling something. Maybe they intentionally use smaller bowls so that they don’t need to fill it up with lots of soup, but I felt really crowded struggling to pick up some noodles with slippery chopsticks and a soup spoon without losing any veggies. Although my phở was a bit pricey and definitely not the best, I’d eat there again in a pinch.
