We had lunch at this café today while in Menominee for a basketball tournament. We loved it! I had the roasted red pepper soup and a tuna pita sandwich. It was delicious. The workers were great too. We will definitely go back.

Great food. Especially enjoyed the potato soup and beer cheese soup. The hoagies are good as well. Visited from out of town. Definitely a nice stop!

My visa gift card was declined and I handed my check card over and was told they have to pay for declined cards so I better have money on that card. It’s the price of doing business. I probably won’t ever go back. I can get cheaper food elsewhere and they won’t make me feel like I did something wrong.

I like the food at acoustic, their hoagies are tasty for sure. Their service is quite fast too, which is impressive as their menu is so broad and diversified. My issue comes down to the management, not the food. Its hard to watch as a seemingly innocent employee gets yelled at by a stressed looking manager whose taking my order, pausing in taking my order to yell an answer back at the employee. I have noticed this same thing happen on multiple occasions: the same manager yelling at different employees. For that reason, I limit my business there when possible.

The soups and sandwiches are all amazing. The cool atmosphere is an added bonus. I always enjoy looking at the new art that’s displayed throughout the place.

I’m just not a fan of acoustic I know a lot of people love it, lower quality esspresso drinks unless you get the JABBATHEHUT then your golden. Good hoogies WIFI is rough quality unless your a student with STOUTS Wifi. Rather go to the Blind Munchies

Great sandwiches, chili and soup. Not always the quickest service, but well worth the wait!

This place has gone SO down hill in the last four years. It used to be my favorite place to go for a bite to eat and cool atmosphere. I don’t know what happened. The staff is incredibly rude and they have subpar food and coffee. I went there on my birthday to get a free hoagie and forgot my i. d and they wouldn’t serve me. Alright, I get that they probably get a ton of people trying to scam them but I look like the most trustworthy person around. The owner has zeeo customer service skills and was so rude to me and her staff. I would recommend going to The Raw Deal or Marion’s Legacy down the street if I were you. Much friendlier atmosphere and quality food and drinks.

If I have family or friends visiting me at school, I take them to the Acoustic if they haven’t ever been there, and I haven’t regretted it yet. Cool atmosphere, wonderful coffee, and really tasty sandwiches at prices a college student can afford. Definitely one of the highlights of downtown Menomonie.

I have been coming here regularly for 15 years, I love this place! The hot tuna, hummus, or ham hoagies are my favorite, along with great soups! The chili or the tomato bisque are fantastic. On top of great food, there’s a nice beer selection, coffees, Italian sodas, ice cream, anything one might want from a true local favorite.

Great college town lunch spot. On a jaunt through cow country this place caught my eye and I was hoping to hoagie my hangover. But my wife is Israeli so the hummus and pita perked my interest instead. Is that racist? Anyway, I dove feet first into that and it was great.

This place has fantastic food! Hoagies, wraps, and pitas plus soup/chili and salads. They also have smoothies, ice cream and coffee. Oh, and nachos. I had 1⁄3 ham hoagie with a cup of beer cheese and the hubs had a Pastrami pita and a cup of tomato basil soup plus we had an order of their super(or was that supreme) nachos. Ice tea for both of us. Our bill was around $ 23. The ambience and food were exactly what I was looking for. The two people working were very friendly. I wish this place was in Fargo, ND close to where I work as I know I’d be in every day. Oh, they also serve at least beer, I wasn’t interested in drinking so I didn’t pay attention to what is offered. I’d definitely go back.

Went to this café yesterday for the first time and loved it. The portions are huge, and for only $ 4.60 you can get half a hoagie(which should be considered a full sand which) because it’s cut into two rather large portions. The prices are very reasonable and the hoagies come with a great combo of toppings, including their«special sauce» you just tell them what kinda of meat you would like and what you don’t want on the sand which. The iced chai is also very good and the atmosphere is adorable and cozy. I definitely will be back.

I’ll take a good independent over a chain any day, and the Acoustic Café is good. Give yourself a minute to absorb their interesting menu and combo choices like 1⁄3 or ½ a hoagie, soup, salad etc etc. Three or more tasty soup choices and good coffee. And don’t overlook the chili. We had a Dalai Lama Special, «one with everything», and other than it could have been a little temperature hotter, was one of the better bowls I have ever had, the sour cream and onions transformed. Looked like lots of fresh, even healthyish desert combos and sweets also. Spacious, well-lighted, lots of glass and in an interesting historic building. The Masons were your Grandfather’s spooky magic 4H; an excuse to drink like fishing. Interesting local art on the walls. If I was a student here, this is where I would move my center. Be here.

I think that Acoustic Café is one of my favorite places to eat when I visit friends in Menomonie, Wisconsin. They have lots of fresh and healthy options — hoagies, salads, pitas and soups. You can mix and match the choices with their deals for ½ salad ½ soup, or 1/3, ½ or full hoagies, etc. They also have delicious smoothies and ice cream! Their bakery items are so good as well! I got the cranberry white chocolate scone and chocolate chip banana bread. The scone was my favorite! With not many places to choose from in Menomonie, I think that Acoustic is a great choice if you want to have a sandwich/salad/soup meal! Or stop in and get a smoothie and baked item. It’s a really cute place and the employees are super friendly!

The staff was super helpful when looking at the menu. They had great options available of soup and sandwich meals with many different types of teas, coffees, and smoothies. The environment was fun and relaxing all while getting a large and completely delicious meal for a reasonable price. Highly reccomended! :)

The atmosphere is pretty neat and cozy. It seems like a nice place to work on some homework or relax and read a book for a bit. The music is trendy and isn’t too loud or too quiet. Perfect place for a conversation with some friends. I didn’t eat anything, but I had a cold press iced coffee with caramel flavoring and it was pretty tasty. My girlfriend ordered a French soda and I tried some. Very good! Not sure what kind it was, but she swears by this place’a French sodas so I’ll take her word for it that they’re all delicious. If you’re here in Menomonie than this place is worth a stop.

Great independent sub shop located near the university that we literally stumbled upon(with the help of other Unilocalers of course) as we were determined not to have another fast food lunch along the highway on our way back to Minneapolis from Madison. Menu is a bit confusing but we ended up each getting a sub that had some amazing sauce/oil on it that was not like anything else I’ve had in the«sub category» — in fact it is a disservice to even call it a sub as it was close to the best sandwich I’ve had in a long, long time. Will definitely have to keep this one in mind for our next road trip.

I have been coming here for years! I love it, and am sad to be moving away and not getting to have it as often! The turkey and hummus hoagie has always been my favorite option! And I usually go the soup/sandwich combo and get the chili and add cheese and sour cream, YUM! The French sodas are also great! I suggest a peach and vanilla flavored one, so great and tasty! The service is also great, and occasionally you get a less friendly person waiting on you, but I’ve noticed that those ones don’t stick around for long-so that’s kinda nice too!
