Teddy’s Tubesteaks

Teddy’s Tubesteaks was established in 2003 in Menomonie’s ever buzzing social district. (downtown) Teddy is a Stout graduate himself who wanted to serve the local college students their late night craving for sloppy, good food!
Teddy’s has a very simple menu that include the following: Tubesteak (hot dog), or a soft pretzel. Now you can choose to add liquid nacho cheese and/​or Teddy’s chili for 50 cents each. There are fresh condiments available like relish, onions, pickles, ketchup and more just inside the door.
Overall, why does Teddy’s get only three stars? The tubesteaks themselves are your standard giant roller hotdog, nothing special in terms of taste. The tubesteak should be the very foundation of the experience! Teddy’s Chili is solid and really completes the flavor of the meal with a mix of cheese. If you rate Teddy’s on overall experience I would give it 4 stars. Teddy is an AMAZING character of a guy! You’ll keep returning just to say hi to good ol’ Teddy! The experience of neon signs, old vending machines and traditional food makes this spot a 4 out of 5 overall, and a 3 out of 5 food wise.
