Really surprised there aren’t more reviews. This is a wonderful place! Yes, there are fantastic treats and toys for pets, and the self-​service dogwash is top-​notch (quality soaps, grooming supplies and ample soft, fluffy towels), but what makes this store so exceptional is the woman who owns the shop. She is a pet-​lover to her core — kind, welcoming and knowledgeable — we enjoyed talking with her so much that we didn’t want to leave! Stop in and check it out for yourself … you’ll be glad you did.

Whenever I come in Mendocino I stop by the Evergreen Barn and spoil my puppy. The woman who owns this little shop is very pleasant and offers wonderful advice. Her prices are decent and she always has a little sale going on.
She is a true dog lover and will be more than happy to assist you with ANY dog question. She is a knowledgeable dog person and recommends the best product for your breed. She seems to know everything about every dog breed out there. She also has a great variety of organic dog food and treats with no by-​products.
I always save my dog questions for her and look forward to my visit. I’m sure my pooch would say the same.
