Sometimes I miss the days of old when Taco Bell was kinda«special» … meaning, it was a big deal to go to it with my parents, riding in the rear well of the Beetle, bouncing down the service road on the West bank Expressway. My Dad was never big on the main roads. He liked to use his brakes a lot. Taco Bell and Panchos, aside from my Moms home cooked Mexican food, was the ONLY way to get it around the westbank. Now that I am older, and drive, and make money… I wear Taco Bell out. Thus it lost its specialness. This particular location is pretty fast. The staff is friendly and have their heads down doing work when its busy. Though I am inpatient, so I rarely ever do the drive thru line, so maybe that skews the speed part. The only thing that I dont care about at this location is the floors. I hate coming inside when its been raining or just an especially high humidity night like 120%…the floors get soooo slippery. I haven’t busted my ass yet, but its only a matter of time. Worst when im rocking the wore down smooth Crocs with socks look, that is basically ice skating! I hope someone snaps a pic when my tray of $ 25 in Taco Bell goes airborne. This particular location is clean too. No fears here. Though the smoothie machine is kinda messed up looking. Needs some attention. The food is good and cheap and hits the spot when im drunk.
