You would’t expect a thrift store to be organized, but to my surprise… it was! Oh yes, thank you for keeping my neurosis at bay so I can browse without feeling compelled to re-organize. I do appreciate how they organize by color, it is quicker and easier to find items. Helps if you are up on fashion and know your brands– there are a lot of Wal-Mart, Forever 21, Old Navy. meh. but I also spotted some Nordstrom things(!) Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, lots of Talbots. Just be prepared to spend some time searching for the correct size, and wear something you can try on clothes over the top of. Eat a good meal before… carb up and get ready to expend some energy in the quest for bargains. Seemed like their prices were better than Goodwill, and random sales on selected items is always a fun bonus. Wow. I am really that lame. a «fun bonus» ha ha Closes at 6 but be forewarned at 5:45 they start hustling people out of there like cattle. If you can avoid this place on a Friday or Sat. you will save yourself from having to throw elbows.

Ugh. I’m torn as to how to rate this place, so I’ll just go with 3 stars. They have an awesome selection of «pre-owned» stuff. It’s all cheap, and Red White and Blue always has some great sales on their already low prices. This is, of course, the same as the Jefferson Highway location. I find that the Jeff Hwy location has a larger and nicer selection of baby/toddler clothes, which is primarily what I thrift shop for. However, this one is closer to my house, so I visit this one more frequently. I always leave with at least a few items to replace clothing that my daughter has quickly outgrown. I also drop off my donations to this location. The other one has friendlier clerks at the checkout too, IMO. I also really, really don’t like how crowded it is. They have so much stuff that the aisles are too narrow to contain all of the people looking for bargains. All in all, it’s a good place to get cheap stuff… just be sure you have the patience to deal with the crowds and the generally unfriendly staff.

This store is huge and cheap! I got a really beautiful old Polaroid camera for 2.99 and a cute women’s button-down cowboy shirt for 1.99. My friend who lives in NOLA comes here all the time and sells stuff on Etsy’s vintage section. They mostly have clothes, but there’s also framed art, shoes, toys, blankets, bedding. Next time I’m here, I am going to come back for sure.

I’ll admit it. I am a total bargain junkie/thrift store enthusiast. This place is HUGE and packed with great deals. Great place for new moms, because a lot of the baby clothes are brand new with tags(probably given as gifts and the baby outgrew them quickly). I have found dresses, blouses, and tshirts here. There is nothing wrong with shopping thrift, if you know what to look for. The people who just see it as «second hand junk» don’t have the«eye», as I like to call it. I have found many awesome treasures here.

It’s a Huge store with a great selection and I say it is The BEST Thrift store in the Greater New Orleans area. I have found some of my ‘very best thifting finds’ at this location. The Jefferson Highway location is good too, but for some reason I find better stuff at this one, maybe it is too far out for some folks? There is always at least one color tag that is ½ priced, unless you go on a Wednesday and are under the age of 55(seniors only get ½ off everything on Wednesday).
