Good food and decent prices. Margaritas are pretty good too.

My family and I eat here weekly. We love the chips and salsa(free!) The staff are friendly and we rarely have to send any food back. They sometimes have a mariachi band which is nice, although it is a bit loud sometimes. I always get fajita burritos and my husband gets the quesadillas. My 2 year old devours the refried beans! We don’t usually get dessert, but we have had the fried ice cream and it is wonderful. We don’t drink but we have been with others in our party who have ordered from the bar and the sizes are huge! Oh, and one other thing that we love is no wait times. The place is always full, but there is always a table available when we go, and with a 2 year old, being seated right away and having chips and salsa to snack on is so helpful!

Decent drinks @ decent prices. The guac, salsa and chips alone are enough to keep anyone coming back. I would def recommend this place for happy hour or just because.

Feeling guilty because I didn’t get to actually dine in. Ordered a chimichanga and queso to go. The interior looked like a fun place to be if you have a large group. Got home and was wildly disappointed by the chimichanga, I don’t know how to describe the flavor but it just wasn’t good. Ended up scooping the meat out and throwing away the casing. Queso was delicious but nothing mind-blowing. Will be back to try the service in house and maybe try something else.

Went last night mad at myself because I did take-out instead of sitting down and enjoying the food and the service. I love going well in there people are always polite and ready to help you. Whoever rolls past this place needs to give them a chance.

1st trip back to Los Tres Amigos since they reopened after remodeling from their fire. Everything we had from the margaritas, to the chips and guacamole, to the entrees were very good and even better than before the fire I think. I definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

This place has just gone downhill over the past year or so. I used to love their cheese enchiladas when I was wanting some comfort food. The last couple of times they have been awful.

Standard amerexican. I always get the nachos, which are consistantly good.

This was our first visit tonight and guaranteed not our last. We visited because of a BOGO coupon. They started our dinner with house-made salsa that had the perfect mix of sweet, heat and lime. The food was fresh and delicious. Huge portions. I am a big guy and I eat well but I had to get a go box. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and professional. LTA is clean as a restaurant can be, it’s cozy and comfortable. They have a 2 man mariachi band and football by the bar. The doors were opened for us and we felt appreciated by all of the staff we came in contact with. Thank you for a very pleasant Saturday evening and we will see you soon.

My family loves this place! We are California natives so we know good Mexican food. This is the closest we have found on the Westbank. Unfortunately, the Westbank doesn’t have as diverse of a selection of Mexican faire as other parts of the city, but my Westbank«go to» is Los Tres Amigos.

Well I decided to hit this joint up today and see if it was any good. The people here were pretty friendly. The hostess that sat me was very friendly. So was the spanish waitress that took my order. I did notice they had a really good menu selection. I ordered the Chimichanga. It came with spanish rice and refried beans. The chimichanga was good and so were the refried beans. The rice was okay but nothing special. Before I even got my meal I was provided free chips and salsa which I think should be a standard at every mexican restaurant. The best thing was that there portions were huge. The décor was typical of what you would see at a mexican restaurant. They had quite a selection of beer and mixed drinks. Which I will have to check again on another date and time, preferably when I do not have to be at work the next day. In short really good place to grab some good mexican food and a few drinks.

Los Tres Amigos is an average Mexican restaurant. That being said, there are a few redeeming qualities. The building was once a different restaurant, so the design seems a bit odd. While I cant remember exactly what it was, it reminds me of a breakfast restaurant. There is nothing wrong with that, but the layout seems a bit odd. One nice thing is the patio area. In front there are several tables with simulated palm umbrellas. On a nice day you could dine and have a great view of the traffic driving down Lapalco. One nice thing they do is the individual servings of salsa. Rather than bring out two filled bowls, they bring a glass container filled with salsa. This lets you decide how many bowls you want to make. This is a nice feature. Service was acceptable, but drink refills were few and far between. The food wasn’t bad, but seemed rather average. With so many other Mexican options on the West Bank, I don’t think I will be returning again anytime soon.

I ate here last week and I am just now getting around to writing a review for this place, mainly because my experience here was pretty forgettable. The food here is a solid three stars: not overly great, not bad at all, really just«meh». I got the chicken flautas which came with a side of rice and beans. It wasn’t bad. Halfway through the meal, I was wishing that I had added a little spice to the rice and beans, as it was really kind of bland. The prices weren’t bad and I would say that it’s a good place for a fast hot lunch. I will say that«Amigos» does have an extensive menu and even the pickiest eaters are sure to find something that they will enjoy. Unfortunately, the Westbank doesn’t have as diverse of a selection of Mexican faire as other parts of the city, but my Westbank«go to» is still El Mesquite Grill.

The only thing Mexican at this restaurant were the people working there. Seasoned ground beef was all I got in my taco and enchilada. The enchilada sauce and salsa must come straight out of a can made in no other than New York city! I could of gotten a better and tastier meal at Taco Bell.

While I use to like going to this place because the food was good, portion size was big and price was cheap, my opinoun of this place has gone done recently. Last couple times I have been there not only has the service been horrible but the food poritons have been cut way back and the quality of it is not as good. We will be looking for a new mexican place.
