I am not one that generally likes or seeks out massage. I had neck pain that wouldn’t go away and my doctor suggested massage. I was able to get in right away and made my appointment online. I saw Erin and she was very helpful and full of suggestions for how to make this massage enjoyable for me. She said she is one of the lighter touch masseuse’s there, but I thought it was perfect. The best part? Immediately after my massage, my neck felt great! She also gave me some muscle rub to take home.

My husband sent me here as a Christmas gift. He scheduled me with the higher rated masseuse. The day of my massage, I noted on the intake form that I was there for relaxation and preferred a quiet room. I did this because in the past I’ve had chatty massage therapists and cannot relax when I’m expected to carry on a conversation. Even though I noted it on my form, told the masseuse what I wanted, and tried to give short answers to the questions asked during my massage so I could relax, it still ended up being an hour-​long conversation and I was not able to relax like I wanted! The place is clean and the staff is friendly… But I don’t want to talk to someone the entire time I’m getting a massage. I’m glad my husband got a special promotion on the massage because I did not receive «full-​price» service.

Elements Massage in Maple Valley is wonderful. I have pretty specific massage needs, and the two therapists I see have been more than able to meet those needs. Trigger point therapy and myofascial release have helped increase my range of motion and greatly reduced the pain in my neck and back, and the deep tissue massage on my calves has made a big difference in my restless legs. I see either Michelle or Whitney on a regular basis. They both have ultra-​strong hands and Michelle also offers «cupping» therapy, which is fantastic! Both of these therapists are very knowledgeable and aren’t afraid to use the great amount of pressure I need to help me find relief. In addition, the front office staff are pleasant and efficient, and the facility is clean and attractive. I highly recommend Elements Massage in Maple Valley!

My first time at Elements. I had previously only went to the more «luxury Hotel Spas» but I did try an introductory offer at another chain a few years ago. I was disappointed. Tonight I had a 60 min with Michelle and was amazed at her work. She was able concentrate on my problem area without neglecting the rest of my body. I called her the closer, because after 10 minutes with her I was already contemplating becoming a wellness member. Thanks Michelle, you got me hooked!

I just had a deep tissue massage from Adrianne yesterday… and she is AMAZING!!! This place, clearly knows how to pick great masseuses! I have many knots, and «troubled» areas, but I literally came home, and couldn’t think of one area or thing that Adrianne could have done better. It was the perfect balance of getting those knots out, and working on those tough areas, but also it was relaxing and I feel so much better the next day. She knows what she’s doing! Between Adrianne and Whitney, this place is my fave!

I had a lovely massage with Taylor. The room was well heated (I tend to run cold) and very comfortable. The building has a nice ambiance and the music, played throughout the facility, is calm and soothing. Overall, I had a great experience.

Adrianne and Whitney are fantastic. Highly recommend them. The atmosphere is relaxing and both ladies communicate very well with what they are doing and if the pressure is alright.

Started going to the massage studio in Maple Valley. Even though it’s a 30min drive from home I keep going because Hanna does such a great job. Knowledge, strength and great attitude. Can’t change now.

EDIT/​UPDATE: Still an amazing massage place, but I switch to Whitney and she’s spoiled me. She can do deep tissue, but she can also do a nice relaxation massage. I always feel in good hands with her, and she does really nice extras like a hot towel on my back when she’s working on my limbs (I get cold easily). I highly recommend her if you go– and you SHOULD go.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I went here for the first time last night, and had my first-​ever deep tissue massage. I wanted to see what the place was like, because I now (medically) need regular massages for stress management. That sounds horrible, I know. The thing is, I’m happy to have anybody touching me, and I nearly flunked Anatomy, so I’m not necessarily the best judge of excellent massage therapists.
Then, a few weeks ago, I got bad muscle spasms and cramping on both side of my neck, elevating my massage need from «stress reduction» to «fix decades of not stretching regularly, bad posture, heavy breasts and poor sleeping positions». I explained this to the receptionist over the phone, and she recommended a Deep Tissue massage with Nathan, and was able to get me an appointment the same day.
I’ll be honest: 60 minutes of deep tissue work on my upper body was intense. Brutal, even (I had massive fascial adhesion and years-​long muscle tightness). But Nathan was very responsive those few times I wussed out. And the rest of the time, he was happy to crack jokes with me– very important for a gal in need of distraction from the intensity. So while today I am bruised and sore (as he told me I likely would be) and pounding water like crazy (on his advice), I can also (finally) turn my head and sleep without pain.
I was so impressed that I immediately signed up for their Wellness Program, a discounted once/​month pre-​pay massage program (very reasonable rates, considering the ‘average’ in price and experience is about $ 1/​minute). If I could afford it, I’d be in here every week getting hot stone, deep tissue, and everything else I can think of. But for now, I’ll limit that to twice a month.
(also, the ambience is very mellow and relaxing, they have plenty of water on hand– as well as coffee– the receptionist was warm and sweet-​natured, and the location is convenient with plenty of parking. It’s a win all around!)

I called after a bit of a stressful day and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment the same day! The check-​in process was easy (unlike many places I’ve been to) and the front desk staff seemed very organized. Plenty of parking and easy to find. My massage therapist (Emily) was fantastic. She prompt, friendly, and asked what kind of pressure I preferred and any particular areas to focus on. She used the perfect amount of pressure for me and checked in with me throughout the massage that I was comfortable. Overall, I loved my experience at Elements and thankful for the stress relief!

Received a 80 minute massage as a gift and it was fantastic! Whitney was knowledgeable and provided great customer service from start-​to-​end. Deep tissue massage was consistent in pressure for the duration of the massage– just plain awesome! Will be following up again.

I am going to assume that this place was new because that’s really how it looked on the inside. This establishment is very well taken care of and is very clean. The staff were very welcoming and helped to provide an over all experience that is worth writing home about.
We (My husband, Mother, and myself) all went for a message. I called on a saturday morning and they had an opening for all of us at the same time, very excited about that.
Arriving a few minutes before their requested arrival time, we were greeted and shown to the waiting room, very clean and tidy and soothing. What a way to decompress before a relaxing message! Fairly quick, hassle free paperwork and then our therapists came and greeted us. They were very friendly, did a great job ensuring that we were happy, relaxed and comfortable. Overall, the equipment and facility are very well taken care of, top notch!
I enjoyed this visit so much that I signed us up for their membership so that we can go back and get more messages! I can’t wait.
Highly recommend this establishment, why not give it a try? The introductory rate was $ 39 for each of us. Besides, they have deals here on Unilocal too!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a massage for Mothers Day… I have had just a couple in my life, and the bar has been set low. I went in just expecting a relaxing afternoon. Talk about underestimating… It was my first time at Elements, so the front desk asked me to fill out a few quick questions. I was then moved to a more zen waiting room with coffee, tea & water. I waited maybe 4 minutes and Garrett introduced himself. He is very approachable and gave off a warm welcoming vibe. (And it helped that we’re from the same southern state) He ushered me to the room and asked me about my preferences/​problem areas. His specialty is deep tissue, so I imagined brutal force. But it was such masterfully targeted pressure. I hold so much tension in my shoulders, and he just seemed to reach in to my muscle tissue and unknot it… But with striking ease… I melted like butter on a Texas sidewalk in the summer. I left there feeling euphoric and light. I think I might even need to sign up for the monthly deal because I am hooked!

I found this place thanks to groupon and having to been to only massage envy this place is a million times better! I love the atmosphere they have, and the massage therapist Adriane (not sure in spelling) is AMAZING!!! I highly highly recommend her to everyone she is magic with fingers! She really listens to my needs and I feel great after leaving! Another huge plus to this place over massage envy is their membership I never understood why at massage envy made you pay for the membership but also a massage it wasn’t included! Here you pay $ 59 and that is your massage and membership! This place is worth checking out to anyone looking to relax, or had an injury and need some relief or both!

I bought a groupon for a hot stone massage, which I love. The place is new and clean. I had a male therapist that was nice, but told me he didn’t really do hot stone very much. I have had several and I could tell he was not very skilled in it. I left a little disappointed. Wish they would have put me with a therapist that was experienced in this type of massage. Probably wont be going back.

I am 4 months preggers and have been getting severe foot cramps at night so I was prompted to finally use my groupon and get a massage.
I was thrilled with the outcome. Garrett was wonderful, very helpful and delightful. I wish they could take insurance. For the time being I got the dads/​grads promo (two massages for $ 119) and gave my husband one and kept the other.
We’ll try them again but not sure they will be a regular place for us since they don’t take insurance and might not for several more months.

I had the worst migraine ever. Stopped to see my doctor and then tried this place. Everyone was very friendly, and the environment was so relaxing. On top of it, my upper back tension was gone after the most amazing massage. Thank you Hannah! I ended up signing up for a visit once a month. It costs much less than the regular price.

This was my first time at Elements Massage and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Randi did an amazing job! She was very patient with me, answering all my questions and checking in with me throughout the massage to ensure I was comfortable at all times.
They also have wonderful customer service and fabulous environment.
I will be returning for sure.
