Dunn Bros Coffee

Great coffee, Great expirience, Great environment. I make it a destination when I need alternative sweetness for my coffee.

I come here more often than I’d like to admit and I love it every time. Their coffees are stronger than caribou, which I like. If you do like the sweetness though, go for the vanilla or chocolate steamed nirvana. For iced drinks they have the ice crema, which is similar to a frappacino or cooler. They use crushed ice, which makes the drinks smoother. Another summer drink I really like would be Italian cream sodas. My favorite combo is blackberry raspberry.
All of the staff is really nice and laid back. It’s a good place to do some work and relax.

Has a double espresso machiatto here late one afternoon.
Espresso was rather ordinary, I was hoping for something a bit richer, smokier, or bolder.
Still, it supplied needed caffeine to my brain cells.
The two staffers working were awesome and super cool!

2^nd time here, we had coffee and breakfast sandwiches Sunday.
Food was delicious, coffee was hot, fresh and very tasty.
Staff was very friendly, prompt service, store and patio were very clean.
Looking forward to the next visit. Keep up the great work DB!

I’m not really sure what I love more at DBC in Maple Grove: the staff or the beverages?! I work right next door so I go in every morning and it is always the same guy and girl working and they are amazing! I wish they wore name tags so I could let the owner know how outstanding they are– their customer service is the reason i get coffee 5 days a week! :) They help me get my day off to an amazing start & they’ve helped me find my bliss: CARAMEL/​MOCHA ICED NIRVANA– YUM! Bonus: they hustle when making your beverage and getting any food ready for you without seeming like they are rushing. just being respectful of your time! Highly recommend DBC to anyone looking for a great coffee or treat and even better customer service!

I’m here about 5 days a week to get my morning coffee before work. I’m practically friends with most of the people that work here now. Super friendly staff, and they know their coffee.
Dunn Bros has to be the boldest flavored coffee’s around. I typically take my coffee black, and nowhere else has delivered the flavor that Dunn Bros delivers. When I decide to be a tad less manly I go for a fufu coffee drink, and they taste amazing. Not overly sugary and processed as Caribou Coffee drinks are.
If you’re in the area check it out, because it’s as good as any small local coffee shop; even though it’s a chain.

We go to Dunn almost every Sunday… and my only wish is that they had more breakfast options.

OK, it’s a coffee shop… there are a lot of these around and it’s a chain, not Starbucks but still a chain. This is the Burbs though and there aren’t a lot of the little neighborhood places around (well one but I’ve already written a review of them).
I guess I’ll given them the nod over the other places out here for a few reasons. They have a great young staff that really seem to like what they do and keep the place clean and welcoming. The coffees good and they do roast their own beans here which I kind of like the smell of that. They have some tasty snacks and the wifi is free, has fast download times and is reliable, all good.
The most important thing is it still has the feel of a coffee shop. There are lots of comfortable places to sit, seating outside so you can chat and NO DRIVE THOUGH LANE!!! Really the whole idea of a coffee shop is the social aspect of being able to come in, get a coffee, say Hi to the local people who live around you and go about your day. Catch up on the news a little, say hello to someone, smile at someone for gods sake. I love the fact there are still some places where you have to get out of your Suburban 2^nd home, your huge F’in car and actually socialize if even for a second or two. Save the drive through for the fast food and speak to someone, SMILE at someone and say hello!
Anyways, the coffees good!
