I just had my first wax at wax the city, and I could not possibly have been more impressed. I have been getting Brazilian waxes for the past 12 years, but this was by far the least painful and all around pleasant.
I saw Lola, and she was very skilled, professional, and so nice.
Wax the city also offers 50% off your first service and they have a frequent buyer program if you get waxed regularly.
I will definitely be going back!

I have been seeing Cat now for 2 years. She is absolutely amazing, professional, and does a fabulous job! The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. Love their services and products! I would highly recommend this location!

I recently moved to Maple Grove and was in search of a new place to get my waxing done; decided to try Waxing the City a try and happy I did. Brazilians are never pleasant, but I can’t say I hated this one. In fact, it was a great experience! The receptionist was lovely and Lola was wonderful! I’ll be going back.

I was a regular patron and felt they did a nice job and the staff was friendly. However they decided to change their no tip policy without any notice or heads up. I felt totally put on the spot when I went to pay. It goes against everything that they preached to me about why they don’t accept tips. I have no problem tipping for service, but communication is key. I will now go to my salon where it will be cheaper with tip and I will be in a more relaxing environment.

I had a great experience last week at Waxing the City. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and got in right away for a walk-in eyebrow wax with Vera. Vera made the experience comfortable and quick and my brows have never looked better. The only suggestion I would make is to play more spa-like music in the waxing rooms instead of the modern, upbeat to help create a more serene environment.

Need to update. I wasn’t aware until recently that they changed their no tipping policy! still do a great job, but factor in tip into their pricing now. Bummed that went away, wish there was more of a heads up besides all of a sudden the tip line showing up on your receipt to sign.
Drove by here a few months back when they first opened and decided to try it out. Your first time here is 50% of your services and get this no tipping policy!
They do basically every kind of waxing you can think of face, leg, arm, bikini, the list goes on along with services specific to men too
Cat is my cerologist and I love her! She makes you feel at ease and takes her time to make sure you are satisfied.
Recommend this location. Many friends go to the refinery in dinkytown which is a bit far when you are lazy and Waxing The City is right in Maple Grove and a quick trip for me
