The meats are not fresh and the cookies are extremely poorly made. Make the extra few blocks trip to the Subway on LaGuardia, where the food is of much higher quality.

It shouldn’t be so difficult to get a good sandwich in new york city. There are so few good sandwich shops, I end up at subway every time. It feels like a disgrace, but it tastes good. So.

To be honest, the place smells like subway, its a particular smell that stays on your clothes if you are in that place for more than 93 seconds. Like a time-bomb.
However, the food is good. It is probably the best bang for your buck in sandwich relative terms. The tomatoes and the salad is fresh. The other ingredients aren’t bad either and the sandwich tastes good.
Hence the 2.25 Stars

2.5 stars. I was here yesterday afternoon. Thought I would try their new buffalo chicken sandwich. It tasted OK but they did not have any bleu cheese dressing nor was there enough spice to it in my opinion. I didn’t realize until too late that I could have gotten it as one of their $ 5 footlongs. Oh well. The cookies I got for dessert were soft and moist, at least.
