I don’t drink a lot of Starbuck’s coffee as I usually can’t justify the calories(I usually will get a White Chocolate Mocha)…but once in a while you just get a craving. The other night my wife and I dropped my son at practice and had time to kill so we stopped in hoping to sit for a while… there just never seems to be enough time for that these days. Anyway, we walk in and the place is PACKED… literally people standing around waiting for a table. Ok fine, we will just get our drinks to go… My wife orders her coffee and a cookie and I order a triple shot White Chocolate Mocha and the guy looks at me funny… «you want three shots of espresso with mocha?» Me — «No, I want three shots of espresso in a white chocolate mocha». Him — «ok» Move down the counter and my wife gets her drink and the very nice barista grabs mine with an odd look and puts a top on it and says — «triple shot with mocha.» I smile and shake my head and she says«That’s not right is it?». Me — No, It’s supposed to be a triple shot White Chocolate Mocha… and she smiles, now shaking her head. She fixed it and made it right… then told the cashier he messed up and to listen to the order… Ok, so it was an odd experience, but at least she fixed the problem quickly. Other than the place being packed(which I suppose is a good thing) and a bit of a crazy parking lot, it’s a standard Starbucks… if you like their coffee you’ll find this place to your liking…

The only horrible Starbucks I’ve ever encountered. The barista was so slow and deliberate in each step of making my two hot chocolates, I waited more than 10 minutes although no one was in front of me. I had ordered two grandes but they made ventis instead and it ends up they had charged me for ventis. When I pointed this out, the guy said«oh, my bad» and then just looked at me. After waiting so long for the drinks, I didn’t have time to argue with them. When I returned home and we tasted the drinks, we found the hot chocolates both had coffee in them! I called and was told that when I came the next time they would take care of me. I returned the next day and ordered the two drinks they owed me, as well as a piece of bread, and was surprised that they charged me for the bread, considering the considerable inconvenience they had caused me. When I pointed this out the manager simply said«thank you for your feedback» but changed nothing. As an aside, I’ve asked for the Caramel Apple Spice apple cider drink at this Starbucks and they told me they don’t make it at this location. Hmmmm… All in all, terrible customer service, uncaring staff, not what I expect from Starbucks…

As places go for getting coffee, I don’t really hold high standards. I order coffee, move down the line and get coffee. If it’s what I ordered, I am a happy man. This Starbucks stands out more to me, because the staff is extremely nice and the facility is the cleanest one I have ever been in.

Always great service, if they give you a drink and you don’t like it, they will gladly remake it. Also I came in with a group on a Sunday night and the girl let us experiment with a couple drinks that she was trying to make. The only thing wrong with the place is the lack of parking, along with the no left turn outside of the parking lot.

About 18 check-ins at this Starbucks so it’s only fair I review them. I prefer this Starbucks over the ones that are located closer to my school in Morristown. They have a parking area that at certain times(rush-hour or the a. m)becomes a bit hectic but I always find a spot. There’s plenty of seating available but I’m not a fan of the long table that everyone has to share. I miss the individual high chairs facing the window. As far as baristas, most of them are sweet, attentive, and they make the drinks great. I usually order iced vanilla lattes or the iced peach green tea lemonades but since it’s getting colder I have to switch up. Only once or twice where I unfortunately didn’t try my drink until leaving and it was gross– the lady used skim milk after I told her not to. I let it slide! Until I find another solid spot closer to school for coffee, I don’t mind stopping here before class.

The usual starbucks in any neighborhood. The service is quite slow and the staff gets distracted easily trying to solve one simple problem all together and forget about the line that is building up way to often. The parking is horrible. It is always full and if it is not it is very narrow and difficult to maneuver around it.

Unbelievably slow service despite the five or six baristas running around. Rude and incompetent staff. I live a mile from here and will go to florham park to avoid this location. Every time you order a drink the staff is perplexed like it is the first time they heard of a «tall dark roast». Line is to the door but not because there are a lot of customers, just slowness. These baristas wouldn’t last a day in NYC. Worst starbucks in the country, period. And the parking lot is a cluster. Park at Burger King.

We hit up this spot right as schools were being let out. Parking was extremely hard to find(as others have mentioned). Apparently pre teens and teenagers like to hang out here. Probably wouldn’t use this place for some quiet time. Quick and friendly service. Starbucks quality here is pretty consistent than most I’ve been to in the city.

Where to start? I guess with parking. No parking even in the afternoon! If you go during peak time forget it. The one area of parking is so narrow it’s basically one way so if you don’t find a spot good luck backing up. Oh watch out for the person behind you! Can’t back up now so just sit there and hope someone leaves and can get by. Then you finally get inside and the staff is just terrible. Can I at least get a good morning and a smile with my expensive fancy drink. It’s why people go there. You get a good drink with good service, but not here. Then you get your drink and it’s wrong! Happened three times. Two times they were out of what I ordered and told me AFTER. They just made me something similar. Not sure why they didn’t tell me when I ordered or wrote it on the board like I’ve seen others do. Then twice I ordered four drinks. They didn’t have the cardboard carrier both times. It was a week apart. How did they not order more before running out?! And now Starbucks had these La Boulange pastries and they are listed as having them. Well big surprise they don’t. The people running this Starbucks are just terrible and give the company a bad name. I’ll never go there again. Luckily they opened a drive-thru one in Chatham near by and I can avoid it completely. And it’s the quality of service and food I expect from a place that made their name from it.

Unfortunately probably the worst Starbuck’s I have visited.(I say unfortunately because I live in Madison). Service occurs at a snail like pace. This is especially odd because they require the customer to assist in the preparation of their own beverage as they will not add sweeteners, etc to their drinks at this location. In short, plan on spending a long time in line and then making your own do it yourself drink… Or choose a different Starbucks

This is a great neighborhood Starbucks with people running into each other all time. Someone told me the Starbucks in Summit does more business than the one in Madison and I find that so hard to believe. There is almost always a line here. I don’t think they go ten minutes without someone getting in line. But the argument is that the morning work rush really tips the scales for the one by the Summit train station. Anyway I like this Starbucks because the seating area is good. There are always people going through it, which provides a certain amount of stimulation. That is really the«caffeine» I get from here. Plus, in the summer, this is a great place to get a blast of cold. I sit until I am frozen through and then I go out and face the heat again.

I am a starbucks regular, but rarely go to this location. Unfortunately, the dozen or so times I have visited this store there has been an issue. Yesterday, was no different. Arrived with the girlfriend around 6PM, The store wasn’t too crowded, had a few people sitting and 1 or 2 waiting for drinks. The cashier seemed to have a real attitude problem when we attempted to order more than 1 drink. Go figure, 2 people wanting 2 drinks is clearly out of the ordinary. We also ordered a pretzel, which she threw on the counter. She got more annoyed when I had the audacity to ask for this semi-frozen item to be heated up. Went to pay using the starbucks app on my phone(which you would think is common these days) and her helpfulness continues. She just stares blankly at me, waiting for me to scan my phone, although she never actually picks up the bar code reader or even turns it away from her. It was quite awkward as I was basically reaching over the counter to pay. Hopefully, she was just having a bad day, but if not, avoid the blonde barista with a name that rhymes with banana. The store seemed to only have 2 baristas working, one as a cashier, the other making drinks. With only 1 person making drinks, getting your order was a longer than expected wait. I ordered a frappacino and she ordered an iced tea. My drink was watered down and pretty gross. Also had a ton of the drink on the outside of the glass, No luck getting the glass wiped down or places in a clean glass. Her iced tea was also watered down, he also only filled up about 2⁄3 of the glass. After asking a few times, finally got him to top it off. The biggest issue is that we alsways seem to have issues with attitude and poor customer service at this location. We go to a starbucks near our home and always have great customer service and a friendly helpful staff. Really not sure what it is about this location, but something needs to change.

I won’t give all of the details that I usually mention in reviews because, well, this is a Starbucks and most people understand what that entails. So, what’s different about this Starbucks. It was one long wooden table in the center of the place which is a good work space for groups but it’s usually pretty crowded. Smaller tables with arms chairs line the sides. It’s functional but not comfortable. I really like the staff that works there. It doesn’t matter too much just for a cup of coffee because there’s not a lot of interaction but it still brightens my day to have a nice chat with the barista or get a smile. The coffee is very standard Starbucks but it has been good every time I’ve gotten it and that’s certainly not true for every Starbucks I’ve been too. The music and the temperature are my only problems. I understand that for the staff it can get hot behind the counter but the place is always freezing which doesn’t elicit the general warm and homey feelings that I like in a Starbucks. The music is also very loud. You get used to it after a while of sitting there but it makes it hard to do work which seems to be what most people are there for. Overall I would call this Starbucks functional over comfortable but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s the middle ground between Drip, the independent coffee shop in Madison with dim lighting, huge comfy chairs and very expensive drinks and Dunkin Donuts down the road for a fast and cheap coffee fix.
