Totally underwhelmed by the cappuccino I got. Place is nice, could possibly get some work done here, or even hangout with a friend. But then, my cappuccino was passable. What’s the point?

The first time I came here. I ordered the chai latte… after a few swigs of it, I didn’t enjoy it one bit. It had a strong taste. I just had to get something else. I ordered the nutella drink and it was really good :)

Nice atmosphere friendly people at counter. I ordered a double espresso it cost $ 4.00 don’t mind paying that price for good espresso. However this was the worst espresso I ever had it was bitter and had a funny taste almost fishy sorry to say I won’t be back.

I was excited to try this place as I was looking for a cozy coffee shop to kick back and read that paper. I found this place underwhelming. We tried the hot chocolate which was lukewarm. I returned it and they gave me hot chocolate. However it overpriced mediocre cocoa. The environment was not inviting or interesting at all. I was definitely disappointed and expected more.

The entire experience was underwhelming… The coffee was meh, the atmosphere was meh, and the service was meh. I’m all for supporting small coffee shops because most of the time you get a better brew… But I could of got convenience store coffee for half the price and it would of been just as good. In regards to the atmosphere, people must really love red walls and uncomfortable chairs because that’s all that this place offers… Overall, next time I’d skip this place and find someplace with more to offer.

Looking for a place to eat breakfast after my swim at Drew University, I stumbled on this place. It has amazing coffee(and I am a coffee snob who considers Starbucks as average so so, last resort). The cinnamon scones are delicious too. Today on my second visit, I also ordered a slice of quiche, which was also good. The breakfast food selection is limited, but what I’ve had so far has been good. But I’ll definitely be back for the dark roast coffee.

My work is largely digital and I focus better in a coffee shop environment. Very good atmosphere that led to an incredible amount of productivity. I’m a fan and would recommend this place to any digital nomad passing by Madison. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by Nespresso — the coffee here is good, but I don’t have a whole lot to say about it.

This place is the definition of a community café. This place has an energetic, beautiful, and vibrant environment full of people from this community having a great time and doing great work. I commute to Madison every day for work and I can easily stop at Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks for cheaper coffee, but I come here each and every time because this place has a soul and it’s connected to this town in a way that runs deeper than physical location. As I write this, I’m finishing the last of a new food dish that they have on the lunch menu called«Grilled Vegetables over Brown Rice». It is absolutely AMAZING. So yea, 5 stars!

Underwhelmed by the coffee here. I ordered a small iced maple latte and it tasted meh. Not very strong espresso. And for the price I was definitely not impressed($ 4 for an iced latte is pretty steep when it’s not even good stuff) The two people working the shift were nice but kept messing up every single order… so I’m not sure if they were new or not. Not a cozy coffee shop like I was expecting. disappointing since it would be nice to have a nice cozy/comfy café around.

Very nice atmosphere. $ 8 for a medium latte and a croissant, so make of that what you will. But had a nice afternoon here!

nice place to go, definitely great quality espresso, but this review solely is based upon customer service I have received. my only issue is, I feel as though it, yes is a nice local place to go to, but it feels as though as it’s more of a shop window and not very personal for the staff seems like it’s always different, and it feels as though none of the employees are nice to talk to, as of right now at least. I feel as though the coffee is always good, but the service goes back and forth. back in spring, I had some pleasant experiences, this summer was okay, but now it’s a lot of unhappy looking people. great coffee though, just a pointer for management! it would be nice to have a staple place and a consistent friendly face as opposed to a bunch of sub par people, that make decent coffee.

Great coffee!!! The service is always nice and helpful. It’s a good sit down café since they actually serve you in porcelain mugs. They do live music some days and have a book exchange. Very cute café. I always get the iced coconut latte which is amazing.

This coffee shop is adorable, had ample seating, and a great selection of coffee drinks. There was even enough space in the café to allow my daughter’s stroller to park near my table without impeding the flow of traffic. My one major regret is that this coffee shop isn’t close enough to my home or near enough to regularly visited locations to justify coming here that often. However, if you’re in the area, this coffee shop is completely worth your time. It reminds me a lot of coffee shops in college towns that I visited over the years. Which, given that there is a college in Madison, makes complete sense to me. It has a very Princeton vibe, if you know what I mean. I really liked this place. Stop on by, because I can’t always get here!

The local coffee establishment throne has been restored! Drip has made a pleasant cozy space to gather and socialize, read a book or do work while enjoying your favorite jolt. Be it a flat white or your deepest darkness they make fresh and flavorful beverages. The service is friendly and open to barista banter and they know their stuff. The baked good are delicious. I had a blueberry scone with my flat white and it was good. They have wifi and a few sockets to plug in devices which helps a road warrior or digerati. They have about 16 tables and some window seating so you can look out and people watch. The music is low but noticeable, yet not loud enough to ruin your concentration. Whenever I am in town I will hit up the drip.

Great place to study, and seems to be a bit of an institution since it’s the only decent café in Madison. Lots of students hanging out, families with young kids, as well as people just there to work. Coffee is great as are the chocolates, although baked goods are somewhat disappointing. Would like to come back for lunch sometime, soup smells great around lunchtime…

Good chai and hot chocolate. I wish they had asked if we were staying, however. We ordered and got our drinks in to-go cups before realizing everyone else had mugs. Obviously not a huge deal but I like drinking from mugs if I’m staying to relax :) The chairs are pretty comfy but a few couches or side chair would make the atmosphere a little warmer :) This is, however, a coffee shop and their coffee and other drinks are delicious which is really all that matters!

The actual coffee here was pretty decent– I ordered a flatwhite and was not disappointed. However, the interior/décor is pretty forgettable. I came here to catch up with a friend and the environment was not super warm or cozy.

My go-to local coffee joint. If you’re not in the mood for high end or low end chain coffee, this is the place to go. They have great beans, Mighty Leaf teas, and the staff are extremely pleasant. Lots of seating, wifi, etc. Great place to get a little work done or leisurely read the newspaper. Pretty much the only thing that can get aggravating is when it gets really full with lots of loud chatters and you’re trying to chill. Headphones are in order then.

Was pretty excited to stop by Drip yesterday with my wife for a quick, post-dinner coffee in Madison. The décor and vibe of the place is nice — classic coffee shop look with tables for two’s and four’s. The menu is pretty standard: the coffees you love, done a la DRIP. Macchiatos, Caapuchinos, Lattes, Espressos… for a good price! My wife and I are pretty big coffee-heads, so we were amped to try Drip’s offerings… I got the specialty drink to see what they’re about: Butterscotch Latte. My wife got the Nutella latte. Both were… OKAY. Not really flavorful, and didn’t really taste like what they were named. They WEREREALLY smooth though; buttery-smooth. That’s a big deal for a coffee, to go down nice without any resistance in texture or taste. Drip nails that for sure. Again, we did get the specialty drinks, so I can’t comment on their average offerings of coffee, but from what we had, it was just okay. Wouldn’t LONG to come back, but also wouldn’t pass by Drip when in need of a cup in Madison.
