Timberlake Motel

Same price as Motel 6 but was dark, humid and running the AC nonstop didn’t help. Clean, and well-​worn linens but felt damp because of the humidity.

Disgusting! Although clean, this was a motel that should NOT be on TripAdvisor. The first room they gave us had 2 double beds, with mattresses that were about 20 years old. The room was clean, but had a bath toeel hanging from the hook already. I requested a queen-​sized. They obliged. The upper lock on the door was ½ missing, light over bed kept going on and off. The door would not lock unless you pulled it open slightly. I tightened the bulb but still the entire fixture had loose wiring, so it didn’t work. The bathroom door would not close. The furniture was very old and worn. Sticky CONTACT PAPER covered the nightstands, with holes ripped in it. They had a poor stray mommy cat with kittens, and a somewhat friendly cream colored cat. When I mentioned it to management, hoping they would RESCUE them. I was told someone had dropped off a cat and he seemed afraid if cats. Hello, call animal rescue, which is what I ended up doing. Had we stayed longer, and not lived over 10 hours away I would have tried to rescue some of them. But you can’t take the mother without the kittens. They won’t survive. I will attempt to post pics. My recommendation, sleep in your car if you have to.

This was a very Basic 2-​star motel with some upgrades. We tried it because the ratings were good. The room was large. Small bath room. They offered Soft towels Rooms have both a Fridge and microwave.
The room had a Musty smell covered up with scented air freshener. The room have thin doors and walls. Loud fan in room drowned out the hallway sounds. An even louder fan in bathroom– which sounded like a jet engine taking off. Our room had no clock, glad we had our own
Offers an Ok breakfast, with cereal waffles, coffee. We headed up the road for a full breakfast. Overall — OK but not great. We could have done better for a little more.

Totally awesome for what it is.

Great value for the overnight — inexpensive and clean. Bed not so comfy, a bit stiff, and overall, a bit on older side. Very friendly staff and they serve a light breakfast in the am in lobby area.

This motel is very clean and better than you would expect for the low price we paid. Very nice staff and again I say it was very clean. The free breakfast was nice too. One bad thing was the beds were super hard. Still, it was perfect for an overnight stay.

First impression — older property, maybe pass it up? Don’t let a first impression mislead you! This property has been updated. Very clean. Newer carpet. Bedding wonderful! Wi-​fi worked great! Breakfast included. The only fault was that our room felt empty without a cozy chair or couch on which to relax.
