I love this location of Einstein Bros Bagels. I work nearby and frequent this location for breakfast. I’ve always experienced impeccable service. The employees are always super friendly and welcoming, and my order is always served quickly and correctly. I’ve never had any problems with service or anything else at this location. I continue frequenting this location, not just because it’s convenient, but because the food is good and the service is great!

I ate breakfast here for 3 days straight. The people are nice and the food is nicely priced for breakfast.

Worst customer service of any downtown Louisville restaurant. The absolute slowest and most inattentive and uncaring staff of any restaurant I have been to in my 16 years in Louisville. 6 people ahead of me, and it took literally 25 minutes to get through the«line». And they still screwed up my order. My first and last trip.

We could just be spoiled because we come from NYC, but this place sucked. The bagels were dry and tasteless. the cream cheese was smeared so thin it melted into the bagel(which I dont know how that happened because it was not toasted, just warm). My guy got a bagel with egg ham and swiss and he remarked«disgusting». We were on a tight schedule to get out to the distilleries, otherwise we would have just ran down to our hotel and got«breakfast #2»

I had an egg sandwich, which was really good. I have to say, the eggs tasted a little pre-made and there wasn’t much bacon. The orange juice seems to be popular, and for good reason. Also, I heavily recommend that you try a coffee, cappuccino or frappé.

For what it is, I enjoy the food at Einstein Bros. Simple creations utilizing ingredients you might not see at other sandwich shops, like asparagus and mushrooms. I love the combination of meat, veggies, and cream cheese piled on a crispy bagel. I also really like that they offer lower-calorie, healthy sandwich options. Every sandwich I’ve tried has been satisfying, and I’d give the food closer to 4 stars. The problem I’ve experienced with Einstein is the service. Service has to be consistently bad for me to comment about it. It’s not bad service as in the people aren’t friendly. In fact, the employees are extremely kind and friendly. The problem is that the management/employees don’t really seem to know what they’re doing. The most consistent problem seems to be that management doesn’t know how to manage inventory. Nine times out of ten(no exaggeration), they’ve been out of some ingredient that goes on a sandwich. They’ve run out of all sorts of things, from asparagus(the star of the sandwich I ordered) to chicken! Yes, I’ve ordered a chicken sandwich before and was told, «I’m sorry we’re out of chicken. Would you like turkey instead?» Not good. I experienced this same problem when I attended Bellarmine University and frequented the Einstein on campus, so it’s not just one location. On my most recent visit, I experienced another incompetence related issue. I ordered the Thintastic Buffalo Chicken Sandwich for lunch, which is on their«Under 410 calories» menu. I hadn’t tried it before and was looking forward to a tasty, low-cal lunch. I get back to my office and open the box to find the Buffalo Chicken and Bacon Flatbread. This is one of their current promotional items that I noticed on a sign I was reading while I was waiting. It’s basically a pizza. Not a sandwich, and definitely not low-cal. Oh well, I was hungry and it would have to do. I will say the pizza tasted good, but it’s still a disappointment to receive something completely different than what you ordered.

Decent place. Their selection is more limited than I expected and they don’t seem to make anything on the premises. I had a bbq chicken flat bread that was uninspired and also cold in places. Bagel selection is decent but not great. Of note… of the 3 things we ordered, two required substitutions due to lack of inventory on hand. It would have been super if they had told us that before we paid for the items. We would have appreciated the opportunity to change our selections.

I like bagels, but I actually came to this location for it’s lighter breakfast items. They have fresh squeezed orange juice and yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit that got me up and going in the morning.

I went here to eat when staying at the Hyatt because I didn’t want to shell out $ 15+ for an omelet. I was greeted right away with a smile. I ordered a bagel, egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich with some additions and was served in less than three minutes. The food was fresh, reasonable, and the service was excellent. Kristine especially delivered a terrific customer experience. Thank you.

Hot drinks are way too sweet for me. I ordered one and quickly trashed it. I do however, enjoy the egg white asparagus bagel thin breakfast sandwich. If you are in a hurry, allow yourself PLENTY of time. In the mornings, people attending conferences and such crowd up the place and your wait may be ridiculous. Trust me, I got drowned out by a swarm of future farmers of America.

There’s just something about a yummy bagel with cream cheese on it and some meat that gets my mouth salivating — and probably also my cholesterol increasing but I digress. I had first come into contact with Einstein Bros Bagels when I interned in Detroit for a summer. They provided a tasty lunch that was slightly different than the usual sandwiches and soups. So when one opened up in Louisville I was elated. I usually get the Tasty Turkey, which is turkey, cream cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on an asiago bagel. Their coffee is also excellent. The staff at the downtown Louisville EBB has always been courteous, and on one holiday in particular they saved me. I had been stuck with the Thanksgiving shift, and desperate for lunch I was driving around downtown. EBB was the only place open, which I was elated and thankful for. And I was able to get my Tasty Turkey — fitting for Thanksgiving. I’m happy that they’ve stayed open even though a ton of other lunch places have cropped up around them. Give them a try if you’re in need of a quick bite while downtown.

My wife and I were on vacation in the Hyatt, and I could get to this bagel company through the lobby. The coffee was okay. The bagel sandwiches were okay. Nothing to write home about, and they seemed a little pricey to me.

The bagels were just ok… I’ve had better. I ordered their lox and cream cheese bagel and felt it was overpriced and lacked the good stuff. Free Wi-Fi…chain restaurant atmosphere and pricing… nothing special.

I’ve had fine experiences at other Einstein Bros. locations. Free wifi is always good. But it’s dumb to close at 3:30. Had to walk up the street to Panera for my afternoon study break.
