The food is delicious, customer service is great especially employee Lesley always welcoming me with a big smile and really sweet as I walk in. One of my specialties out the menu are the Oreo shakes!

So I was hungry one night just came out of a movie. A friend and I decided to go here and pick up a burger and fries. I am a fan of Smashburger since we have numerous locations in NJ. Smashburger was one of my favorite burger chains because of the quality of the meat and I love the fries. The only reason I give this location less than 5 stars is because of the lack of options. They did not have the full menu here, so I was unable to really get what I wanted. But the burger and fries were tasty! Way better than In and Out!

Don’t waste your money on this place, grab a quarter pounder from McDonald’s if you’re looking for quality!

Ate here for the first time ever with my fiancé, and we loved it! He got the Classic Smash Burger and I got the Bacon Burger. We also tried the Smash Fries, and they were AMAZING! It was quite expensive, but this location is however on Universal City Walk, and I know when restaurants are near a theme park, they tend to be more expensive. Would definitely be willing to go again! Great food and fast service!

we came to universal studios for halloween horror nights… got here early enough to have dinner before lining up for the early entry… we didn’t want to waste time in the park eating… it was all about the mazes and scare zones!!! my son picked smashburger… we both got a burger minus the mayo and ranch… we shared an order of fries. food was ready quickly. order was accurate… food taste… slightly better than fast food . not our usual type of eating establishment but it was good for our purpose… we didn’t have time for a sit down restaurant… i would probably eat here again.

One of the best fast food chain(better quality) burgers I’ve tasted. I’ve had it once before at the Downtown Los Angeles location and remembered loving the food. I also got to meet and speak to the founder of Smashburger, Tom Ryan, during a tasting event. I had their classic Smashburger, rosemary fries, and oreo cookie shake. Their juicy burger, crispy fries, and an Oreo cookie shake made with Haagen Daz ice cream were all very delicious. This is probably the best place to eat in City Walk right now… until Ludo’s Fried Chicken opens up taking the old Jodie Maroni spot. There’s a Wolfgang Puck restaurant downstairs which is probably the best option of the full service chain restaurants. City Walk is not really a great dining destination and is wasteland of chain restaurants. This is probably the best choice of all the chain restaurants in the food court, and probably the entire Universal Studios area for dining options. Service was friendly and very enthusiastic when asking for suggestions. Located in the upstairs food court.

Bacon cheeseburger was a 4 out of 10. Burger patty had to be sitting in the warmer coz it was dry. Doesn’t taste fresh. Also considering we had 5 orders of burgers, the entire order only took less than 3 minutes to come out. That tells me that these burgers were already pre-made. They missed our Smash Fries. Not a big fan overall. I would rather eat at Pink’s coz their burgers are made fresh on the grill.

Mushroom chicken sandwich with wheat bread. The cheese«taste like Plastic» mushroom as well. Chicken was flavorless and really really thin portion. Bread was actually not that bad tasting everything by separated. But Not recommend at all. Be sides… Classic smashBurger was really good my friend order that. That’s why I give some stars to the review.
