I love the bagels here, especially the Asiago bagel. My only suggestions are they really should add Jalepeño cream cheese to the menu, and iced coffee :)

Huge props to their awesome ‘Key to the Lox’ platter which is always incredibly fresh and fantastic. My wife & I have been hitting up Sam’s for several years and it’s the best spot for a refreshing breakfast/brunch. Their new back patio is quite lovely.

Great bagels! Love this place — especially the mini bagels! They’re perfect for kids — or me, when I’m not quite as hungry as I thought. Nice folks behind the counter, too!

Great place great food. The woman at the register obviously hates her job and should move on.

Had been wanting to check this place out for a bit since moving to area… but was vastly disappointed. First, cashier seemed to be in a bad mood or inconvenienced by me being there. When asked if there was green peppers, I was treated with disdain! Kinda funny actually… anyway, I ordered an omelet with potatoes and toast. Omelet was decent as were potatoes, but toast was barely toasted at all… basically warm bread. And the ketchup tasted like it has been passed on from bottle to bottle over many, many months. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know this trick. They take bottles nearly empty and combine them with newer ones. Problem is, the ketchup that is in the bottom never gets used and ruins the rest of the bottle. Anyway, it was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat my potatoes with it. Stick to the Hunt’s packets(yes, they got the b team ketchup packets).

I’m a big fan of this place and their bagel sandwiches, but the service is really inconsistent. I like to pick up bagels for my office on the way in to work. Half the time they don’t even answer the phone. When they do, you might get left on hold and forgotten about while you listen to the employees talk to each other. And there’s no telling whether your order will be done in 10 minutes or 25. And it sucks because when they’re having a good day, the woman at the counter is really sweet. Basically, head to Sam’s if you want a great bagel and have all the time in the the world, but I personally might have to find a new work day bagel spot that’s more dependable.

This place has awesome bagels… I shop at Bristol Farms so it makes going to Sam’s easy… The bagels are the best I’ve ever had… When I get a sandwich I always get my bagel scooped… A scooped everything bagel with chicken salad again awesome… Get there early on the weekends they run out of bagels… The staff is awesome…

I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Most New York-like bagel I’ve had in the 7 years I’ve lived in LA, and I’ve tried a lot of bagels. For those of you who are completely bagel oblivious, that’s the biggest compliment you can give.

So confused about the 4 stars. I went on a Saturday afternoon, since the Griddle was too long of a line, and this place was dirty, tables hadn’t been cleaned since breakfast.(All of them) overpriced. If you charge me $ 6.29 for a bagel sandwich at least try not to burn it. And east very average. Take yourself to a franchise bagel place instead.

Sam’s has the best bagel I have had outside of New York City! A cute little shop that is worth the wait. I love finding new favorite places like Sam’s.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in West Hollywood. My boyfriend lives near by and comes so often that he has a «usual» order with the two lovely ladies who run the place. The bagels are great but if you’re coming on the weekend, try to arrive before 12pm. If you come anytime after that, there will be a very slim selection of bagels left. We only ever order bagel sandwiches(BLT on Cheese Bagel is our favorite) but the rest of the menu looks great too. This is definitely my go-to spot for a quick, simple, delicious breakfast.

a popular weekend breakfast spot, indeed! i was tasked with getting my friends and I some egg sandwiches a weekend i was visiting. one thing i will state is the early bird catches the worm because coming late morning yielded very few bagel choices. for my personal misfortune: no everything bagels! i had to opt for a cheese bagel instead. pretty much all the classic flavors were gone. even plain! so it goes. my friend is really into their salt bagel and that was available, as well as a multigrain. is it the best bagels in town? probably not. it seems to be a local spot and was fairly close to my friends with easy parking — at least on a sunday… hollywood parking rules are scary and confusing! anyway, our sandwiches hit the spot and the bagels were quite fresh. i was also really impressed with the back of the house lady’s customer service. she was helping me left and right. they have very basic drip coffee pump containers and when one was empty… or completely cold, she hooked me up with getting brand new fresh coffee from the back. so from a service standpoint i was very pleased.

Oddly located, but relatively cute little bagel/sandwich/breakfast shop. Rear patio which has a lot of potential, even though it overlooks a rather decidedly unscenic parking lot of the bank nextdoor. Breakfast was fine. Not amazing, not bad. The service was slow… they were indeed busy and understaffed… but… that’s what I’m saying… they were busy and understaffed. SCREAMING toddler on the back patio the whole time with parents who didn’t leave after it ruined everyone’s breakfast for 30+ minutes. Not the restaurant’s fault, though I would have probably given them five stars if they refunded the poorly-mannered young family’s money and sent them to McDonalds. I had a hangover and no time for their nonsense.

I ordered the spinach omelet with sour dough bread and fruits on the side. I sat in the back outside patio. The food looks good. The taste is average. The fruits were not as fresh as it said. However, what really got me is the chipped plastic plate that it was served on and the chipped paint falling from the ceiling. Chipped paints were just falling onto the table, which was very disturbing. *Even if I ordered it to go, it will take forever. While I was waiting to order my dish. This guy called in and still waited 20 minutes for a bagel… which was sitting on the counter. uh… no thank you.

Nice little coffee shop on Sunset. Always get their everything bagels with extra cream cheese, made New York style crunchy on the outside warm soft on the inside. Sometimes they run out of their more popular flavors on busier mornings so I would have a backup option. Coffee is usually pretty good but I’d recommend staying away from their specialty coffee as they don’t get used/changed out nearly as often. As for the ambiance, they recently redid their back patio and it’s looking a lot better! Although some plant life or something to block the loading zone next door would go a long way. There is also a cluttered dark(kinda creepy) hallway leading to the seating area, it would be nice to see it cleaned and brightened up a bit. All in all this place has great bagles and that’s hard to find in LA so I’m sticking with a solid 4 star review in hopes they will spruce up a bit.

My first time here and I’ve lived in LA for 8 years. I’m a big fan of the Bagel Broker but I gotta say these perfectly boiled then baked plain bagels are simply perfect, and simple, almost like a pretzel, the way they should be. Since I moved from the East Coast I’ve had a hell of a time finding some real deal bagels and schmear and I’m finally sated. Two thumbs up ya bagel hole baby!

Best bagels I’ve had in Los Angeles. Worth waiting in line(and there frequently is a line. Today I picked up an order of 12 dozen with one day’s notice. Mirna was all over it, the bagels were waiting for me, and the quality was great.

This is my go-to quickie breakfast spot. All you have to do is look past the lady at the front counter that looks like she needs a cup of coffee. I come in, order my food, and watch a bit of the morning news on their TV while I wait. The breakfast is bagel sandwiches with egg, bacon and cheese type stuff. Or they have omelets. The coffee is fine and help yourself. It’s nothing spectacular, but it fills you up. I always park in the Bristol Farms parking lot, and no one hassles me about it. Watch out for parking on Sunset, there are times when you can’t park out front. There’s tables on the sidewalk to sit outside with your dog. But you may also like to sit on their outdoor patio in the back.
