Roman’s Liquor

They charged me $ 3.00 for cash back with a purchase because they can (when their atm is broken). They also did it because their foreign and think they can. Poor community service!

Looking for the best Craft Beer, Regional Wines, and the lowest price for liquor? Romans is the place! Centrally located in Hollywood on La Brea. This is my favorite spirit store, but also my everyday neighborhood store that goes beyond satisfying my needs for a quick pick up of tobacco, drinks, and snacks.
I’ve personally requested a product and Roman had it stocked the next morning. If you come when Roman is there he knows his wine and spirits very well and will give you a great recommendation. Trust me, take his advice I’ve never been disappointed! That’s the customer service that keeps me coming back.
Being from Texas this store inspired me to write this review because of the people and the service. I don’t see that much in L.A. so, I must give credit where credit is due
Hats off to Romans for keeping the personal touch in the neighborhood, keep up the great work!

This store is the best store in Hollywood .best craft beer selection .best wine selection .they have my zacapa rum. And they have Rambauer Chardonnay .the owner is friendly

Don’t use the ATM machine. It says service not allowed yet charges bank, doesn’t give money. After the teller swiped the card other unauthorized charges showed up.

They charge a 50 cent surcharge on any purchase below $ 10 when trying to use a credit card, which is illegal in California. Moreover, they don’t tell customers and if asked will point to a small sign about the size of a postcard beneath their glass counter.

Wow! I was blown away by the beer selection they have here! not to mention the wine too, the owner is super cool, talked to him about his beers that we can’t even get at the gastropub I work at, they have the dogfish head 90 and 60 minute, allagash curieux, hitachino espresso stout, racer 5 IPA, big sky just to name a few, few liquor stores take pride on what they have to offer, romans is one of them so whether you want a craft beer a nice wine or just a stella romans’ got it!

Romans liquor has almost any wine you can think of, there staff is very friendly there’s literally no more homeless people there, his prices are so cheap, compared to other liquor stores in Hollywood. Thumbs up!!!
