Over priced, no set prices. It is totally just the location that lts them get away with this.

The best and safest liquor store in the area. Come here for all your beverage needs. The store has a wide selection of wine, hard liquor and beer.

Expensive items you can find cheaper elsewhere but they allow dogs inside and have always been nice to me! Fast and big selection.

This is a liquor store. Not a 7 eleven. You will not get a great deal on milk. Common sense. However, I do love the place, and it’s a good place to convene since the cops will get to know you since they’re always hanging out there. I once almost got a jaywalk ticket, but the cop let it slide since he sees me go in that liquor store alot. So unless your selling drugs or planning to shoplift, it’s a good place to go into and get acquainted with the boys in blue. Prices are kind of high though. Not going to front on that one.

This is the most ridiculously over priced liquor store I’ve ever been in. The 750ml bottles are basically all double the price of what you would pay at CVS a few blocks away. $ 5 for a Heineken big can! It’s cheaper to drink at a bar than but alcohol from here. They also don’t put price tags on the majority of their items, in fact, I think only the liquor wall has price tags. They make up prices based on what they feel like charging. The entire store is at about 300% markup compared to CVS. Rotten scam and they’re very mean towards customers, I don’t give a f about your business attitude.

DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOURLIFEDEPENDSONIT! I live next door, and this place is the worst liquor/convenience store I’ve ever been to – for numerous reasons: 1) Everything is INSANELY overpriced(chips, salsa, cheese, sour cream = $ 20) 2) They charge you an extra .75 if you use a credit card and your things are less than $ 10 3) They sell spoiled meats and dairy(got sick from spoiled bacon) 4) LAPD hangs out in the back all day — something just isn’t right about that 5) It literally smelled like poop one day I was there …need I say more…

This place would be better if the prices were 50% cheaper, and if it were run by 100% fewer con artists. The man who runs this place is an idiot. I used to live in the building right next to this place, and would often go in to pick up odds & ends that I ran out of while cooking. I knew it was overpriced, but I finally had it when I tried to buy a carton of milk and the guy charged me $ 7.70. I loudly exclaimed«WHAT? Are you kidding me? For a gallon of milk?» None of the locals in my building shop here anymore because the prices are so outrageous. The cheapest things in the store have price tags on them, and you can expect to overpay by about 50%. The stuff without price tags is where they really gouge you. If the moron in charge priced things that locals buy more fairly, like milk, cheese, onions and butter, then he’d make so much more money because locals would actually go here. Instead, he has a one-price-fits-all policy and tries to rip everyone off. Fuck this place, and fuck that Chinese guy’s greasy hair. Everything about this store is sleazy. Oh, and the pizza in the back sucks. Stay away.

I hate this place. This store is so over priced, it’s ridiculous. And they close super early. If you’re in the neighborhood go to Plaboy liquor on yucca and wilcox. Way Way Way better. Tons of cops hang out here too, which is always a buzz kill.

This is a mom and pop store that is conveniently located near the Hollywood and Highland center, the Renaissance Hotel, and the Hollywood Bowl. They have a huge selection of alcohol, drinks, snacks and other miscellaneous amenities. I love the fact that it’s a mom and pop store and not some corporate 7 – 11. The employees here are also very friendly and helpful. Come here as a one stop spot for all your refreshment needs in Hollywood. Who knows, you may see one of the Hollywood Bl characters here since this is where all the locals including myself go.

This liquor store is perfect if you’re staing at the Renaissance Hotel, it’s right across the street. Made a few stops here to get some refreshments and booze while staying in the Hotel for a mini-vacay. It’s a pretty simple mom and pop type of liquor store, gets pretty crowded at night with everyone stocking up on their nightly alcohol. Prices weren’t put up on a bunch of things, so it was pretty much a guessing/hoping game when it came to your total before you hit the register. Although, they had a good selection of liquor, which unfortunately was over priced. I saw an average size of Chambord Liquor, which normally goes for about $ 22 at home [in Hawaii], going for $ 38. I was shocked! But of course, the cheapy Korkov Vodka was just below the double digits. Other than that, snacks are priced ok. And they also have the LA lottery. Just beware of an old man dressed as Spiderman. I think he’s homeless, we got to talking about how he used to live in Hawaii when he saw my Hawaii driver’s license, but still, a bit creepy cause earlier that day, I seen him flapping his cape trying to fly. So I’m not sure he’s all there.

Highly overpriced. The big 1.5 liters of water all cost 2.99! Highway robbery — but what can you do when you’re short on time on the way to the Bowl? My suggestion: if you know you’re gonna need snacks or liquids around this area, plan ahead and shop someplace cheaper. FYI: they charge a 1.50 to use a credit/debit card. D:

Highland Liquor is conveniently located near Hollywood & Highland and is perfect for a quick half pint of booze. The Hollywood & Highland center has plenty of restaurants and a bar or two, but be prepared to pay tourist prices for a well drink. The liquor store itself is standard fare and stocks plenty of spirits, beer, wine, and snacks. I always find myself stopping here whenever I’m near Hollywood & Highland and they always stock an impressive selection of magazines. Their selection of magazines include hard to find magazines like ‘Heavy Hitters’ and ‘Street Low’. If you’re in need of some booze or some reading material, check this place out.

I was at the Hollywood Christmas Parade last week and we wanted something to drink so I went through the crowds and none of the stores had alcoholic beverages. I finally asked someone and they directed me here. It is one block up Highland from Hollywood/Highland. They have a decent selection of wines and beers and the prices are… well not too outrageous but it’s a liquor store. Anyways I made my way back to where everyone was before the parade started and NO… I was not drinking illegally on the street. I have a friend that owns a store on Hollywood Blvd. Oh…the parade… well…meh!
