Pizza studio is one of the best locations you ever eat at. It’s right across street from campus and they let you put as many toppings if you want your pizza. All my coworkers go there for lunch because they know it’s to go to :) Sometime the line is long so order online

I’ve been here at least 6 or 8 times for pizza. It’s good, quick and plenty of food for the price. Not life altering pizza, but the margherita is $ 5 and you get way more than you pay for. However, I got an email earlier this month that they had salads on sale. What? They have salads? Sure enough, there’s a small section on the menu offering a $ 2.99 Caesar Salad. My email mentioned an «entrée salad.» So, I asked. Lo and behold– they do custom built salads exactly the way they custom build pizzas. Fresh spinach, romaine and a spring mix and then all the toppings they have available for the pizzas. For $ 7.99. Any toppings you want. That alone was enough for me to come back and bring a friend. This evening was the day to come back; I came in and was directed to the front to buy my salad, which I knew was wrong, but I learned a while back to save the arguing. Guy at the register apologizes and says(nicely) to go back to the back of the line. I make my awesome salad and end up back with the guy at the register. I pay and then realize I didn’t get my discount. Guy at counter, let’s just call him Jose since that is what my receipt said the cashier was, tells me to sit down and he’ll check with his manager and get back to me. Jose comes to my table a few minutes later and hands me a new receipt for $ 2 less. Awesome. My neurosis kicks in and I start my typical dissection of the plate, removing any spinach stems and the romaine spine… nothing new here. THEN Jose comes back over and asks if everything is OK with my salad, and I say, «yes» and explain it’s just me. He tells me he was concerned that I had a problem and already voided out my order and brought my friend and I over coupons for a free pizza(or salad)! He just noticed that!!! Without me complaining, or even him asking? I told him I would of course pay for my salad since it was great, but he insisted we keep the free coupons and come back. Outstanding customer service.

I think I’ve been to maybe ten build your own pizza spots in the last couple of years. This is definitely my favorite one; it’s not as bland /cookiecutter as the rest of them. It’s the first one I heard about but I never got around to trying it, I would always eat at the burger place next door. Really the only downside to eating here is parking. I’ve only noticed street parking enough for 20 cars or so? I don’t know the area too well, so maybe there is a lot nearby. Tastes really good, they don’t skimp on the ingredients, and there are some neat choices for the crust.

3.5 stars. This was my first time at a pizza studio location. I liked that they have a variety of crusts for you to choose from; I went with the Rosemary Herb crust. Toppings I included: usual marinara sauce, mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapenos, pineapple, cheese and pepperoni. The crust is super thin, but they pierce it so that it remains somewhat crunchy when it bakes. For the price, it’s a pretty good deal. 7.99 for unlimited toppings. I will have to say that I didn’t particularly like how they placed the cheese on top of the toppings. I found that as I was eating my pizza, the toppings started to fall off easier because it didn’t have the cheese underneath to stick to. There wasn’t too long of a wait. Considering I went right around 12 pm on a Friday, I only had to wait 5 minutes. The servers are friendly and inviting. The interior was very nice and spacious. Despite the amount of people who were there getting lunch, I didn’t feel cramped. They also showcase art from local artists. Having lived in Westwood for the past four years, I had to compare this to 800 Degrees. While Pizza Studio has a better price point(for unlimited toppings), I prefer the build-your-own pizza at 800 Degrees. They toss your pizza when you order, whereas Pizza Studio uses a machine to flatten out your crust. I also find the ingredients at 800 Degrees to be a lot fresher. Additionally, I prefer that 800 layers your cheese underneath the toppings. Pizza studio cooks your pizza on a conveyor belt oven; I prefer the fire oven at 800 Degrees because it adds an extra smokey flavor to the pizza. I signed up for the online reward afterwards, each $ gives you one point. 100 points gets you a free pizza. Essentially for every 12 pizzas you order, you get one free.

The good: good variety and choices available from crust to toppings to finishing touches. Good price for a make your own personal pizza. The bad: parking. Thin crust that doesn’t rise and quick cooking time using a rotational oven which creates a flat soggy crust. Their new method of putting the cheese on top of the toppings makes the soggy center worse. It needs to change. Overall, I prefer the toppings but the crust needs help. A fire oven makes a better crisp crust that has no soggy issues.

I have never heard of a business changing it’s hours based on when people go back to school. This place is across the street from USC and is suppose to stay open until 10. At 8:56 they are closed. The employee said they go back to regular schedule when the kids go back to school next week. I don’t care, I won’t be back.

We were looking for a quick, tasty bite, and happened to walk by Pizza Studio. It definitely hit the spot. I got the«buffalo» dough, which adds the slightest bit of heat to your creation. I got all veggie toppings, and found it to be a pretty good portion/deal for $ 8. And, they have to-go containers if you’re eating at the store and want to save some for later.

Pizza Studio is a great option around USC that’s right across the campus on the southeast side. It’s basically Pieology or Blaze Pizza with a different name. Customize your pizza for $ 7.99 or get one of their pre-arranged specialty pizzas for $ 7.99 too unless there is a special promotion going on which happens quite a lot. You can definitely play around customizing your pizza and a cool thing that I’ve seen is doing different toppings for one half of your pizza and then different toppings for the other side of your pizza. They also have a rewards program too where you can give them your email and they’re give you points for each dollar that you spend. Plus, there are ways to use apps like Tapingo to order your pizza from your phone and pick it up when it’s ready. I’ve got to confess that 800 Degrees near Westwood is still the best customizable pizza and that place will give you perspective on why I can only give this place 4-stars.

The pizza was REALLY good, they even offered chicken sausage as a topping which was a perk for me because I don’t eat pork and most places don’t offer many pork alternatives The reason why I did not give this place 5 stars was because none of the ingredients were labeled. It had a subway setting but no labels so I had to keep asking what kind of cheese and what kind of meats they offered. Another thing was it was very loud inside so not a good idea for an outing with friends because you won’t be able to hear each other talk. And it wasn’t loud from others talking it was loud because the music they played was way to loud, even the employee I was giving my order too couldn’t hear what I was saying.

After a long afternoon browsing the many exhibits that grace our Natural Museum Hunger, hunger struck like a bat out of hell. We were craving pizza and we needed it to be in our stomachs immediately. After a short browse we found this place. I was skeptical, as I am of most new places, but I decided to try it out. Like the old adage goes, even if it was bad pizza you still had pizza. Parking wasn’t bad. there was plenty behind some student housing nearby. But it’s not meant to be accessed through car. Like Subway and Pitfire there was assembly line ordering in place. Major points for being able to pick your own crust. I got flaxseed with normal sauce and cheese topped with pepironni, artichokes and yellow peppers. No spinach here, but it didn’t take away from the pizza. It was cooked as well as it can be for a press. Cheese was viscous and flowing and the sauce was excellent. For 7.99 I got my money’s worth.

$ 7.99 for your own personal pizza. It is a pretty standard build your own pizza kind of place. They have all your standard toppings and maybe a few you can’t find at other similar places. What makes this place stand out is the different type of dough/crust you can get. I got the Rosemary Herb and that provided a great different flavor to the pizza. There is also a Firecracker dough/crust if you like a spicy kick to it.

Unlimited toppings for $ 7.99 yes please! I’ve taken all my friends here when they’re from out of town visiting! It’s incredible – so many different, high quality options for toppings. I always go with the whole grain flaxseed crust and mix up the sauces(bbq and pesto)! Get a ton of cheese and veggies and whatever you like :) Super efficient and super yummy! Love pizza studio, one of the best places to eat around UPC.

Since everyone seemed to be trying the«Chipotle» of «fill in the type of cuisine», why not a Chipotle of pizza? I have actually seen a few of the make your own pizza places pop up. The most popular one seems to be Pizza Rev and Blaze, but I decided to venture here one Friday night. The location is right by USC. The restaurant itself has pretty spacious and plenty of seating. Even though it was Friday night, there wasn’t too may people. They have the pre-made option, but I opted for a build your own pizza. You get a choice of dough and unlimited toppings of veggies, meats, sauce, etc. I have seen some people pile massive amounts of toppings onto the pizza. I wasn’t very ambitious, so I tried a bacon and jalapeño pizza with basil. After I added all my toppings, it is popped into the oven. The wait for my pizza was about 10 minutes, not too bad of a wait. I thought that the pizza was pretty good. The dough was good(not too thick and not too thin) and the toppings were pretty tasty. The bacon tasted not as fresh, but I thought it was OK. There is metered parking outside, but watch out for the street signs as I saw a bunch of meter maids and cops trying to give tickets(even on a Friday night). Overall, a good pizza experience and I will definitely come back here.

Pizza: It is really up to you! You can get whatever you want for a fixed price and everything is fresh! It is a thin crusted pizza so they cook it fast. You can choose your crust, sauce, and toppings. Typical DIY pizza place. Service: Decent, not much to say but the employees are kind! Final Verdict: Because I go to USC, its just close by to eat around school. I will be back!

I think I have now been to all of their locations and have to say they are pretty consistent. Great staff, huge variety and tasty pizza! They have more toppings then most other create your own pizza places and several crust options which really sets them apart from the rest. I love the whole wheat flax seed, a clear favorite, the rosemary a close second. Loaded up with pretty much every veggie topping offered and ask for it well done so its not soggy and for $ 8 you have a great and filling meal, I usually add a side salad for another $ 3 to round it off perfectly. Clean and well kept, doesn’t get too full either, glad to see they are doing well, hope they expand even more!

Is it pizza. Or is it paper with pizza toppings on it. The crust is so thin I think it’s the latter, but it’s still pretty darn good. You can get their Starving Artists pizza for $ 5.99 — It’s basically a set pizza that they make for you. OR you can make your own pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 7.99, which is what I always opt for! I think the selling point of this place is that they have a variety of delicious crust available: Whole grain and flax, Rosemary Herb, Traditional, Firecracker, and even gluten-free! In my opinion, topping selection is a little limited, but it works for me because I like my pizzas simple :) Overall, good price for what you’re getting. It’s not the best pizza in the world, especially considering it’s basically fast-food pizza, but it’ll satisfy that pizza craving that gnaws at you occasionally during the week. You’ll walk out of here feeling pretty satisfied, but don’t be fooled, the pizza isn’t very big — How people have leftovers I will never understand.

I love this place! For $ 7.99, you can customize your own pizza with unlimited toppings. 1) You start off my selecting the crust from about 5 choices including a healthy flax seed option: I usually go with Rosemary Herb. 2) Then you pick the sauce: I go with Tomato 3) The cheese: I do a little Mozarella, Feta, and Goat. This is also the area where the fresh garlic is, and I get that too. 4) The veggies: I usually get mushrooms, tomatos, brocollini, zucxhini 5) Meat: I get peperoni, bacon, chicken, two kinds of sausages 6) Powders: I get chipotle powder. Tell them to sprinkle it if you don’t want too much. I forgot to mention that, and I had a little too much. 7) *Additional toppings they throw on after baking your pizza. Don’t forget this, since most people do, because it’s hard to see the little sign for it. I get basil and cilantro Seriously so delicious! A great place to grab pizza if you’re in the USC area.

A nice place to grab lunch after classes or if you ever find yourself in South Central. Prices start at $ 5.99 for their«starving artists» selections(pepperoni, margherita, or buffalo chicken) or you can pay $ 7.99 for unlimited toppings. I opted for the $ 7.99 «create your own» option. Got a traditional crust with marinara and pesto, mozzarella, mushrooms, and extra pepperoni. The size portion is big enough that you leave satisfied but small enough so that it doesn’t give you food coma. Hate the fact that they can be pretty stingy with their toppings at times. The place gets pretty crowded around lunch time so come around 11am to beat the rush. Also, enroll in their Rewards Program. For every $ 1 you spend you get 1 point.; get 100 points and earn yourself a free pizza.
