Really enjoy this food. Love coming here for a quick bite to eat. I ordered all soup once and didn’t like it, friend insisted I had ordered what she had and then offered to switch. Absolutely loved it. Great place to come — only down fall is to bring a jacket — it’s always cold inside. Hahaha

Smaller and fast food version of the real noodle world. The menu is just a little smaller but has all your mains and more. The food is served in disposable containers. Since the portions are a little smaller(but really it’s enough), the prices are a little lower too. My go to is always Pad See Ew and Tom Ka noodle soup.

This place was really on-point when it first opened but every time I go it seems that the quality goes down. Think they switched out the legit chefs for budget ones after teaching them the ropes and you can really notice the difference. Good for a quick bite if you’re in a pinch but I wouldn’t seek it out otherwise.

I had the grilled chicken salad… and food poisoning right after. I vomited my entire lunch in the early evening and then some. Unclean! :(

I got the sriracha spaghetti which is around $ 7. I stopped by here for a quick bite to eat during break because I’ve been starving all day. This looked appetizing so I chose it. Boy, was I wrong. It tasted like crap and they didn’t even put chicken in it when it says chicken. So I returned it and got pad see ew with chicken and I made sure that they put chicken in it. Pad see ew is better than the spaghetti so get that if you’re here. The only reason I gave an extra star is because they accepted the nasty spaghetti without hesitating and offered to exchange it with a different plate. Though there is a possibility for them to taint my food with what say you, saliva I’m glad I exchanged it because that is what customer service is all about. Will I be back? HELL to the no.

Really hot soup, firm noodles, rich broth, generous cuts of pork in my ramen. Perfectly crunchy but tender fried tofu. Polite service. Free and spacious parking. On the cheap side.

I like Noodle World. The food and the service is good. But they serve the hot noodle soups in a plastic bowl and plastic spoon so not ideal for me. But I still go because the food is good and sometimes a hot soupy meal hits the spot.

We came in to grab some lunch and help out hungover buddies recover. There are a wide variety of noodle dishes but they’re all very bland. I can do without the noodle dishes here. However, the rice dishes are pretty good. Pricing is standard. Oh their lychee smoothie is Delish btw!

I don’t know why but they’re closing early and that’s fairly upsetting to me. Their limited menu is mostly rubbish and not being open is completely a non-starter. So I would recommend thinking about something else if you want to eat food. That said, I have enjoyed the boba. The food was adequate back when they were open.

Crappy customer service. I have been to the San Marino location often and enjoyed all my meals. Here I found myself for lunch and I ordered the yakisoba combo and when it was brought to my table I saw it had sesame seeds sprinkled on top, which I have a serious food allergy to. I asked if they could re make it without the seeds, which are just sprinkled on and was told no because there are no substitutions on combo specials. This is not a substitution. As a restaurant you should be sensitive to food allergies especially when there is no mention of sesame seeds in the Description. I have never had yakisoba noodles elsewhere w sesame seeds on it. I ended up getting refunded and a meal went to waste because they would not fix the issue. Crap service crap location of this chain

This place is to noodles what Taco Bell is to tacos. The guy seated across from me is wearing a t-shirt soaked with wet and he’s no Joe Manganiello. I judge a noodle place by the carbs. Was it worth all the carbs? This place wasnt IMO. And the review about being served your meal in Togo containers, even if you’re eating in is bothersome. Even the soup spoon was made of cheap plastic and flimsy. The layout of the place is similar to a Chipotle. They must expect a lot of business as theres plenty of room for people to line up and order. But Gower Gulch is in a transitional part of town. We’ll see if it survives.

This place is pretty run of the mill. If you’re new to Asian cuisine, any restaurant that offers food from multiple cultures and countries should raise a red flag to you. This probably means the food is mediocre. Not bad, but mediocre. I also don’t appreciate that even when you order to eat in, they still give you a plastic take-out container, just with no top. With the prices they charge you they should at least give you a real plate when you eat in.

The food here is great. Just remember that because they’re a Jr. Noodle World that they don’t have everything that the large Noodle Worlds have. The Tom Kah is great, it reminds me of a milder Thai curry. My favorite dish is probably the shrimp fried rice though, with extra well done veggies. The pad see ew is also very solid here. They also have some of the best Thai iced tea I’ve ever had with a bonus of being inexpensive. One thing though is that the boba itself isn’t consistent but they aren’t exactly known for their boba anyway. I actually make sure to call and see what cook made the boba before I go in to order.

I really like this Noodle World Jr. location. The interior is clean, well lit and air conditioned. The staff is always very professional and friendly. They play only a 80’s station, which is great. I’ve tried 5 – 6 items on the menu and everything tasted really good. Yeah, it’s «Junior», so the options are very limited. Their special«Singapore Noodles» is actually one of my favorite. Not sure why it’s not on the regular menu??? The food is ready is always cooked very fast, under 10 minutes. If you are doing«To Go», best to call in. Or stay, as the dinning area is quite large and spacey. My only complain is the price. Being in Hollywood, everything is around $ 10(with tax). Still, Noodle World is a nice addition to the area…

DONOTORDERBEEFFROMTHISPLACE — YOUWILLGETSICK. I suffered from food poisoning for a solid 48 hours after eating their beef noodle soup… I had ordered a chicken salad in the past that was just MEH, but nothing to write home about… 2 of my other co-workers, on two different occasions have also gotten sick from eating one of their beef dishes. STAYAWAY, unless you enjoyed being glued to a toilet, projectile vomiting or pooping your insides out. The SMELL of this place makes me nauseous now. BUYERBEWARE.

Things could get real messy at the table so I don’t advise this place for a first date! lol You can’t go wrong with the Ramen selection and there’s plenty of seating to get wet and wild with your bowl. I have to agree with what was written on one of their walls, this place is ‘Slurpin’ Good’

So glad to see this little chain has made it further west. I have been to Noodle World in San marino before. Have to say, pretty happy with my phở yesterday. In fact, I slurped it up and was full and satisfied. This is a new location and right across from the office so a colleague and I went to check it out. Perfect selection for a breezy chill day. The menu is quite varied, with both noodle and rice dishes, some teriyaki and katsu selections as well as good veggie and GF choices. Since I try to eat GF, this was quite nice to see. I got the chicken phở and added mushrooms. The chicken was all white meat with lots of perfectly cooked rice noodles and green onions. Basil and bean sprouts on the side. Good stuff. Slurpable.(I know that’s not a word.) I will definitely be back to try some of the other selections. Welcome to the neighborhood Noodle World.

I have been to Noodle World in Alhambra many times and love the diversity in their menu. I usually get Noodle World Tom Yum or House Noodle. I was ecstatic when I found out there are new Noodle World branch opened up in Hollywood. Nevertheless, it was Noodle World«Jr.», therefore their menu was very limited. I was disappointed not able to find my favorites on their menu. I have ordered foods to go a couple of times here and most of the dishes are delicious, but some are at par the most. It is kind of hit or miss. I enjoyed their shrimp Tom Yum noodle soup the most(I’ve asked for rice noodles instead of ramen noodles.). It was flavorful and savory so I fished til the last drop. I was shocked when I woke up the next day, my face was so puffed up like someone had punched me while I slept. Perhaps from all the salt in the soup. But it was worth the ugly face!!! Clean and spacious restaurant with friendly staff. I hope one day this«Junior» grows up and starts carrying full menu.

I’ve always been a fan of Noodle World back in my college days making late night trips to Alhambra. Even though you won’t find the best tasting ramen, phở, or even tom yum, you’ll find a little of everything with above average quality. So I came into NW Jr with the same expectation, of course knowing it’ll minus some of the full menu selection. First of all, the moment I walked in, something felt off. Perhaps it’s cleaner than the Noodle World I used to know. Perhaps everything is just more expensive than what I imagined a «cheap» bowl of noodle would cost. Perhaps it’s not noisy with a sea of Asians waiting in a long line out the door. Something is just not right about the place. I feel like everything got«Panda“ized. It wasn’t just the environment, but it was also the food. The flavor felt it was skewed away from the more authentic Asian palette, and more towards the likes of chow-mein and kung pao chicken at Panda Express. Overall, it was not bad, but just not something I was expecting from such established Asian joint.
