I would definitely recommend it to anyone! This the second time I’ve come and the restroom was not very clean, but if you can overlook that, then this is the place to come! A Big Plus! They’re very accommodating!!!

Not bad. Some food were leftovers. The soups were good and some of the dishes were yummy. With this kind of price, we can’t ask for more.

I know this place got a B rating and the reviews to date haven’t been so stellar — still I think the food is pretty good for the money. Went to Hokkaido at Westside Pavillion and thought the food sucked there(I would think food would be better since it’s in a wealthier part of town!) Place looks clean to me(a Unilocal reviewer said it was dirty.) I’m sure there are tastier buffet place in L.A. but seriously I have no complaints.

Discrimination at its finest at this location. Made me and my family pay because that’s a «new policy» but the family behind us sat and ate then paid for there meal. Hardly refill there water just super rude employees.

Very dirty restaurant… Thy have a B rating and it’s evident why. The water taste like sewage and the food is as fresh as last weeks left overs… The manager was really rude and I have no idea how this place is still open. 1 word Gross. They also have no clue of the law concerning service animals they refused a customer that clearly had a service animal with license! Customer service here was horrible!

If I was in the movie 7 Deadly Sins I would be dead from gluttony with chicken bones stuffed down my throat. Some times the orange chicken is as if it was recooked from yesterday’s or days before leftovers. The Salmon is my favorite, Crispy chicken is good but it’s not crispy Salad is good Mushroom chicken I eat for the health benefits of eating the shrooms. lol I give it 3 s because the menue over the yrs haven’t changed And the bathrooms are the worst in cleanliness with odors

I’m so disappointed with the service I received, Not only was I having a bad day but when they asked me if everything was okay I said no and they completely ignore me, why ask me and then turn alway? The food is very limited even though they claim all you can eat they over price the sea food… The ice cream machine is almost never working I used to go often, they need to work on their customer service… I just got up and asked for my check within 10 minutes of just being there they charged me $ 28.95 on the 10÷12÷15 Arround 8−9pm for only half a plate of food like really… I Should have asked for a refunded if anything or compensation!

I used to love and I mean absolutely LOVE going there to eat with friends and family. Monday 10÷12÷15 around 2pm I went in there with my girlfriend before heading to the mall and when we finally sat down with our food, as I was grabbing a bite to eat of the beef and broccoli I find something odd. something nasty. something I have never EVER seen before in my life. A full grown maggot. Inside of the broccoli that apparently was not even checked thoroughly before being cooked. I’ve found hair pieces plenty of times before but insects? That’s the most disgusting thing I have ever found before in my entire life. I’m obviously never going back in there again, and best believe I’m telling all of my friends and family about that poor excuse of an establishment they seem to call a «restaurant». I called the health department afterwards. Hopefully they can close this place down as soon as possible merely for the sake of anybody else that goes in there and of course their health. Unbelievable.

Came in on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy at all. There was a great selection of food including seafood such as crab legs, shrimp, muscles, and clams. All the food that I tried was pretty good. The staff always made sure to have plenty of food that was available. The place seemed relatively clean considering the neighborhood it’s in. But there was an armed security guard that was out there when we arrived. Bathroom was dirty but had ur essential stuff in their. Plates though as well as utensils were acceptable including where the food were being displayed. Did not see any flies or any other critters. And for approximately $ 13 for an all u can eat with the variety they had. I will be back… just when the sun is up tho.

Got everything you need here. Came here for a Saturday lunch, to my surprise the place was packed. We were seated promptly and immediately headed to the buffet counters. They had a good selection of Chinese food, a few sushi options and a salad and dessert station. The food is good for what it is, and what I expected for a $ 11 all you can eat meal. I definitely ate my money’s worth. Finished plates were removed efficiently from the staff and drinks were refilled when needed. Good job, I will be back!

I live within walking distance from here and Chinese food is my favorite and I refuse to eat there. I only needed to try it once to know it’s not a clean nor prideful restaurant. They do not seem to have care about serving quality products. It’s just cheap, low quality garbage passed off as food-stuff.

Food was decent. There was plenty and was hot. Charge extra for soda and more for juice.

From my sister: I’m in the process of calling the Health Department. My fiancé and I stopped at this location for a quick bite to eat, only to find dead roaches in his food. We promptly alerted one of the owners and he looked confused and stated that the health department just came the other day, so he does not know why there are roaches in our food. He then asked whether we wanted to continue eating or we can leave free of charge. Of course we left and reported this incident to the health department and families that were on their way to the establishment. Upon alerting another would be customer, she told me her young daughter reported seeing rats in the restaurant weeks before. This place needs to be shut down! As of 7/6/15They have 13 Violations via the public health website including # 23. No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

Horrible service. First time trying the place out; heard good reviews but when I showed up I was greeted by workers who were rude. I asked to move tables and was denied, server walked away while asking for drinks, food was all over and over all bad experience. Never going back ever again.

I you enjoy buffets and love Chinese food this is the spot to go to. I actually have been going here now for a couple of years. The food is always hot and at least to me there is enough variety to get me full. Don’t be discouraged by the long line outside because they do their best to seat everyone quickly. Plenty of parking. Lunch is cheaper than dinner. Here they also make sushi. Depending whether you like sushi or not its decent. Fruit looks fresh. The food is constantly coming out so you know they have it ready. Overall, I really this place and never have had a problem with it.

DAYUM. This place is CHEAP. $ 11 for the dinner buffet $ 8 for lunch?! Coming from Toronto, Canada where it’s super rare for a buffet place to cost less than $ 20 for dinner, much less one that has crab legs(!!!)(omg), these prices were crazy low. We drove by this place on our way back to our airport Hilton after a day at Universal Studios and were so hungry that we decided to roll the dice here. We sure are glad that we did. The food isn’t amazing quality, but it was much better than we expected for the price we paid. After being on a diet of pretty much exclusively fast food for the past two days(being busy tourists), New Panda Buffet was a godsend. They have surprising delicious salads and a good selection of different Asian foods(tuned to Western taste buds). Some of these were a hit and others a miss, but for the most part were good quality and fairly fresh. Would definitely recommend, especially for those hungry, money-conscious tourists around the LAX airport area, well worth the 15 minutes car ride!

I loved this place the first 20 times I came here. Now… total burnout. BF loves this place for the crab legs so we eat here at least once a week. Despite my burnout, and in an effort to be completely objective for those of you reading my review, the food is actually pretty decent for a buffet. This may sound weird because I am reviewing a Chinese buffet and I should be reviewing the Chinese food, but in my opinion they have absolute best Caesar salad I’ve ever tasted anywhere and the clam chowder soup is really good too. In fact the fried rice and chow mein at this joint is some of the best on the west side. I found the crab legs to be hit and miss, sometimes they seem to be a bit stale and soggy. A good value and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I know this place isn’t considered exceptional by anyone’s standards. Even still, I can’t help but make a trip here every single time I’m in LA. Where else can I get a full takeout container of Chinese food for under $ 6?! Could the food be better? Yes of course but it’s $ 6 for a whole container of food(did I mention that already?) so let’s keep things in perspective here folks! Either way, I’ll continue my ritualistic trips to New Panda Buffet regardless of what the naysayers have to say.
