I wouldn’t consider this the most«authentic» Brazilian good you will find in LA but it’s tasty food. I wish there was more of a selection as far as sides are concerned. The restaurant is buffet style and they have a lot of options on the salad bar. Then there’s just some beans, garlic pasta, stew and bread. The fried plantains are really delicious. I always get the spicy chicken as the protein because the meat is too thick and hard to get through. Average plate will be pricey. 8.95 per lb of food. Overall a yummy place to eat. Me and my boyfriend come here when we are looking for a quick bite in culver city. Leave some time for parking, the lot is pretty crazy.

Good alternative to pricier AYCE places, and you shouldn’t go home feeling hungry with a burning hole in your wallet either. I usually spend around $ 15 on average here for a decently large amount of food. I recommend getting the mixture of cold dishes and BBQ — it’s a lower price per pound, and the pasta and stroganoff are pretty delicious. The cheese balls are $.70 per, and are well worth the price. They also feature Guarana Antarctica(Brazilian soft drink) here. The plaza features a large, free parking lot, another plus!

One of my favorite casual restaurants on the westside. Wide selection of very tasty brazilian food, you can pick exactly how much or how little food you want, nice servers and decent prices. Love it

Pampas Grill delicious, buffet-style Brazilian food that tastes homemade and is ready to eat when you arrive. So, not only is the food good and healthy, but there is also no waiting! Perfect for when you’re hungry but don’t want to go to a fast-food restaurant. Plus, they also sell beer and wine.

As a Brazilian, I really want to love this place because I’m always craving for hometown food. While it helps, I can’t help but to point out that the meat carvers at Pampa’s are terrible at their jobs. Brazilian meat is supposed to be served thinly, not like a thick piece of American steak. It’s really a shame they cut them so thick. Maybe the owner trains them that way so that you pay for a heavier plate… :($ 15/average for a small Asian girl. Their feijoada(bean stew) is passable, although sometimes it looks like it has been sitting there for a year and a half. Overall, it’s still okay and my to-go place when I need a nutritious and hearty meal.

I like this restaurant. It’s casual, and the meats are very tasty. It’s a little pricey(they charge by the weight of your plate) – as my plate of salad and meats are usually a bit over $ 20, but it’s worth it.(I go about once a month). Thumbs up.

Delicious! Loved the meat, reminded me a lot of the Churrasco you get in Brazil. Very yummy, definitely recommend.

The quality of the meat here has really gone down. I get the same cut every time: picanha. Used to loved it. The last few times I’ve gone though, the meat was terrible. Filled with gristle and/or tendons which make about a third of it inedible. If I have to saw away at the meat with a sharp steak knife, and then end up trying to chew through rubbery pieces of tendon throughout my meal then something’s not right. If this happens once or twice, I’d say I just happened to get a bad cut. But this has happened the last four times I’ve stopped through. Never coming back here. It’s just not worth the money. It’s a shame. It used to be one of my faves.

+ Friendly staff, explained how everything worked to a 1st timer + Clean + Reasonable prices -/+ Limited indoor seating -/+ Some of the meat has fat/stringy and is hard to cut/eat I stopped here on the way home from a road trip based on a recommendation from a friend. The staff was very friendly and explained how the ordering process worked to a first timer like me. The«salad bar» section was pretty good, although it could have used a bit more selection. The cheesy bread is awesome and the meat is ready to go as soon as you get to the register area. I do wish they had chicken hearts, and the«meat cutter» stated that several people have asked for it. Hopefully they’ll get it soon. The lamb had a bit of fat and was difficult to cut due to it being«stringy».

I occasionally come here when I feel the need for heavy meats & light pastas on the side. The food is so fresh you can taste it. The meats are made and cut in front of you, and the buffet style courses before the meats are okay. I would say the sides can be improved by a bit maybe add a little more variety as well as the drinks. As for the pricing, 9 $ by the pound so my plate is usually 23 – 25 all together. The food is pretty good, the service is alright, nothing major but the pricing is a little too much for me when I barely even finish it.

Love it here. Casual environment. Legit Brazilian management and food. I easily come once every 2 months. One time I complained because my meat(lamb and steak) was too fatty and the manager gave me a few free slices of steak and a ball of cheese bread! Great staff!

I believe a lot of people don’t get the system of pay per weight. Of course your food will be expensive if you mix Pasta, with rice, beans, strognoff and put a pile of amazing beef!!! This place is amazing!!! Well priced and if you want to have a taste of Brazilian BBQ without spending $ 100+ on an authentic rodizio this is the place to go. Believe me, I am Brazilian… I know what I am talking about. These kind of places(pay per weight or the famous«A KILO» how we call in Brazil) are really popular back home. I am from Rio, and you see these places everywhere. You will have the sense to try the saltiness of the Picanha(medium rare please!!!), the chicken, sausage and all other Brazilian BBQ goodies(no chicken hearts — sad) for a price that will not break the bank. Go for it, and please please please… Just because it looks like a buffet, doesn’t mean that you have to pile tons of food that don’t go together… Simply stand up and go for a second round if you need more food! Don’t mess with the system!!! Why not 5 stars??? Hummmm… I still prefer a Rodizio. But this place is legit. go for it!

After I had that ridiculously overpriced $ 12-glass of Chardonnay at 800 Degrees Pizza which tasted horrible to boot, I thought of Pampas Grill. Because my complaint in one of my update reviews was that Pampas serves bad wine. But lately, we’ve been coming here and dining-in again because of the heat wave. And I noticed that their Chardonnay has become fairly decent. By the way, I’ve given up on them serving freshly-cooked okra – that was my main complaint in my most recent update. So forgetting the okra, Pampas is a good place to go for steak(I recommend only the sirloin cap) or for their sausage. Add some nicely-sauteed collard greens to assuage the guilt. And it doesn’t hurt to throw in some black beans. Enjoy the meal with their fairly decent glass of Chardonnay at $ 5.75. Oh, and don’t forget the cheese bread. Service is friendly and efficient – the the meat carvers, the cashier(s) and the bussers. The bussers are quick to clear the tables. P. S. This is a self-service place. Food is charged by the pound. The plate of food in my picture plus some black beans(not shown) cost $ 6.80 – that’s only 0.69 lb. Yes, I don’t eat much. Actually, here’s a more helpful info: a plate with churrasco is $ 9.85 a pound, and a plate without churrasco is only 8.65 a pound(because they have other stuff too).

I’m so happy I found this gem on the west side. Hospitality here is truly amazing. They helped a woman with an arm injury get her food and carried her tray. They have wonderful outdoor seating and there is always parking. Great alternative to the grove location. Same staff. Amazing food as always.

Came here on a Tuesday night, and it seemed fairly busy. We saw a lot of groups coming in and out during our entire time here. The good thing about this place is that it charges food by the pound, so you eat and pay for the exact amount you want. The price was $ 9.85/lb for the meats and food from the salad bar(one dollar less for just food from the salad bar). I had the sirloin cap and bacon-wrapped chicken. I made the mistake of grabbing too much from the salad bar, leaving little room for the meats. However, I needed the extra veggies to balance out the oversalted meat. I was looking forward to the bacon-wrapped chicken, but unfortunately all the meats were dry and overcooked. There’s free parking in the plaza, but it took awhile for us to find a spot(probably because of the LA Fitness nearby). If you are looking for Brazilian meats without overeating or paying for a buffet price, this would be a decent place to go to. However, I’ll most likely seek out other Brazilian restaurants before coming back here again.

Absolutely zero reasons why this place should be in the three star category. If it is, your ordering the wrong food HONESTLY. Their alcatra, picanha and carneiro, spicy chicken are out of this world when ordered at the right temperature(medium rare), and the veggies and fruit accentuate the meats quite well. Not a huge fan of some of the sides, but that’s why it’s just sides and your at a churrasco place. You should probably focus on the churrasco. Prices can get quite expensive, so if I’d fill my plate with amazing meats over mashed potatoes. That’s just me though. 5⁄5NOMS

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place. I love it. I always get the romaine salad, some cucumbers/tomatoes, the rice with black beans thrown on top, the cheese bread ball, collard greens, okra, and squash and usually the garlic beef, top sirloin, and sausage. I like that they have the meats cooked rare, medium rare, well done, etc. They do charge by weight, still I like it! They also have a location at the The Grove in the Farmer’s Market.

Much cheaper option than going to an AYCE Brazilian BBQ. You pay by weight, the price is decent. My suggestions — don’t get the chickens. They’re a bit on the dry side. And the garlic beef, though it sounds wonderful, is also dry and tough. My personal favorites: the top sirloin and sirloin cap. The sirloin cap is nice and fatty and rich in flavor. My plate came out to a little under $ 12, and I was STUFFED. Minus one star for Culver Center — needs more parking spaces!!!
