We ordered fettuccine Alfredo, but they served us linguine with Alfredo sauce. So sad that«Italian» restaurant cannot tell them apart.

Pinocchio’s is a great place if you’ve never had really good Italian Food. I arrived alone and sat at the bar. No bartender was working. I had to ask the host for someone to serve me. While I was sitting at the bar, 4 – 5 servers came by to make drinks or enter their orders on the computer. Not one asked if they could get me anything. Finally I asked the host to summon a waiter. A young man appeared who said, I’ll take your order, but I’m going home.” I had a glass of Chianti. Sweet and unpleasant. I ordered Pinocchio’s Spaghetti. It came with sliced sausage and too many red and green peppers in a very bland spaghetti sauce. Breadsticks were included, but they never showed up. I started with a forgettable Caesar Salad. Unforgettable because the dressing was poured over wet lettuce. Thus making the entire salad watery. I switched from the unwelcome Chianti to a Super Tuscan which was much better. I had carrot cake and decaf coffee for dessert. Carrot Cake was like the rest of Pinocchio’s. Mediocre at best! Will I go back. No! I can make a better Spaghetti and sausage at home using Classico Spaghetti Sauce. Note: Pinocchio’s was very busy and is a popular place. If you’re into very mediocre Italian Food.(As in no garlic.) You’ll love this place. Oh, they do breakfast on weekends. Will I try that? Not a chance.

We have been here multiple times and always had good meals. But something has changed. On Friday night there were major problems. The linguine with white clam sauce was too salty to eat. It was replaced with spaghetti with meat sauce that was bland. The chicken ravioli tasted fine but gave me the runs. These are dishes that we’ve eaten here before. We hope that these problems get corrected soon because we would like to come back.

I love this place. This location is the best. Great Italian food with a friendly staff.

I am congratulating myself this morning for choosing Pinocchio’s as the place for my birthday party. It was a smashing success due largely to the wonderful food and seamless service from the people there. The party room was perfect for my group of 50. Every detail was expertly handled. Many thanks to Liz and her staff for an evening to remember!

I’m giving Pinnichios 5 stars because I saw lots of other people really enjoying their meal. Unfortunately I left feeling totally dissatisfied. I ordered the rocket salad and fettuccini Alfredo which the menu said same with chicken and broccoli. The rocket had zero arugula in … Where I come from Rocket = Arugula. The Alfredo sauce was thin, very garlicky and obviously missing a lot of cheese as I had to put salt on the entrée. The experience was not helped the incompetent obsequious waiter that I had. I think he left the entrée sitting while he chatted up old friends at other tables then when he went to grab he he stuck it in the micro wave for a bit. The plate was cold but food was hot. I ended up filling my self up on their delicious bread with the predictable and boring balsamic dunk beneath an ocean of olive oil. I suggest they try a tapenade for a change. As I said I’ll come back and try their red sauce just to give them a fair try but so far not so good.

The food here is seemingly average, but perhaps slightly over priced. Everyone at the table was fine with their food, and the portions were generous. The general consensus was the food was fine. The service though. Man, unless your table has 7+ people around it, expect to forgotten. Our waiter stopped coming by the table before we even got our food. A busgirl seemed more interested in bringing us water, but also stopped showing up at our table. We waited far too long to receive our bill. Realistically, this place could be okay but I would seriously need some convincing to come back.

Sat waiting for a table while tables in backroom sat open and set for 15 minutes. Unfortunately not very attentive management or host/hostess. Regardless of food quality service leaves much to be desired.

Me, my child, & a friend went in for lunch. There was only one other table there. I ended up ordering a calzone & my friend ordered spaghetti. The food is VERY pricey here except for the calzones. Anyway, our bread, appetizer, & food took ages before it made it to our table. It was pretty good. In the end our server added his own tip. We only were a table of two plus a child. Normally a gratuity is added when there is a party of 5 – 6 at a restaurant. I’m still trying to figure out why the server included his own tip.

We’ve been to the Longmont location and Firestone location a couple of times, and we can say at least it’s pretty consistent. The Longmont location the service is very slow, but it is better in the Firestone location. Bot the food is good, but not great. There is just something missing from pretty much anything we’ve had, nothing has ever been horrible, just not great — leads me to believe a pretty fair amount of their food comes from per-packaged products. Last time we were there, we had 4 people — two adults and two kids. So we were seated at a small square table that had 4 chairs around it but wasn’t big enough really for 4 people to comfortably eat because you couldn’t really have more than 1 drink and your plate on the table at the same time; so no water, condiments, bread, etc. Those tables should be only for 3 or less people. Also, the parmesan cheese you have to ask for, and it’s that low end comes in a green bottle type that they put in a shaker. Disappointing to say the least. Not that I would avoid this place, but we’re still looking for a really good Italian place; and if we do find it we’d be unlikely to ever go back. But in the mean time, it is a place we will on occasions go.

I’d give 2.5 stars if it was possible. We came in on a Friday evening. We were greeted promptly and told it was a 15 – 20 minute wait. Less than 10 minutes later we were seated. I was immediately thrown off because we weren’t given a wine/drink menu. This seems counter intuitive for any restaurant let alone an Italian restaurant! We ordered water to drink and it took quite some time to get our waters. We then ordered the pepperoni rolls as an appetizer. We ordered our entrees before receiving our appetizer. It took at least 15 – 20 minutes to get our appetizer. It was delicious though and the marinara was beautifully robust with acidic tomatoes. The breadsticks were fresh but relatively flavorless. I upgraded to the spinach salad and I am SOOO glad I did. It was truly delicious!!! My boyfriend ordered the veal parmesan. Sadly this was lacking seasoning and i was unimpressed with the pasta. I odered the chicken tiamo. I know why they call it the house favorite. The sauce was very well seasoned. It came out piping hot. We finally ordered the tiramisu and canollis for dessert. Loved the presentation of the tiramisu! Overall: Our server wasn’t very attentive. I was very disappointed about not getting the wine menu. Yes, I could have asked for it but I shouldn’t have to. Not to mention the server didn’t suggest wine either. Each course took awhile. The spinach salad and the chicken tiamo will have me coming back though.

Overpriced Italian food. Was it frozen? Is that why the white sauce was so greasy and clumped with cheese? I don’t know. #maybenewownerneededormakeover

My mom and I came here for dinner. The staff is very friendly but the food is way overpriced for what you get. The only good thing was there bread sticks that they serve before the meal. Very fresh and soft and HOT!

Eight of us went here last night to celebrate my son’s birthday. We had reservations, so I was a bit surprised when, despite the main restaurant being fairly empty, they placed us, alone, in a back room that was still decorated for Valentine’s Day. As a matter of fact, there were still balloons and table decorations. OK, not a big problem, just odd. Once we placed our orders, we were brought breadsticks. They were actually quite good. They were gone quite quickly, though, so we asked for more. Our waiter then said, quite angrily, that he has no control over the oven or the breadsticks. We all commented amongst ourselves how odd this was. When the other breadsticks finally arrived, they were ice cold inside. Maybe the waiter already knew this would happen, who knows? Other guests have made this same comment on this site. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, an Italian restaurant staple. Unfortunately, once I tried a few bites, I realized that there was no way I was going to enjoy this. The sauce was basically tomato paste and water … almost NO seasoning at all. Very bland and extremely watery. The meatballs tasted like sawdust. Again, very bland and almost NO seasoning. I have had better spaghetti and meatballs in a school cafeteria and in the military. And here I was, in an Italian restaurant, being fed this awful meal. I didn’t eat but a few bites, telling the waiter that, no, I didn’t want to take the meal home. It was THAT bad. I spoke to the others in my party and all said their meals were ok, just nothing special at all. I would highly recommend that diners in Longmont choose somewhere else for Italian food. This place ranks on the bottom!

Well according to the reviews we must have hit a good nite. Our service was exceptional and food was very good. Started with the artichoke dip with bread. A nice creamy dip with great taste. The wine was as the menu said a velvet finish it was nice Pinot noir. The main course came and the flavors just kept coming. My wife had the manicotti and I the tortellini with asparagus, artichoke and meatballs. Great sauce. The chicken Parmesan was also a hit. To full cheese cake darn it.

Ate here a year ago and it was quite good would have given it 4 stars then. Came back last night and still found it to be 4 stars. Wait service was good, attentive, but not hovering. We had a party of 5 and they got all the orders(drinks, apps and meals) correct. On the topic of drinks, don’t know if the bartender was feeling generous that night but the pours were on the«I pour like that at home» side. Ordered the Caramelized onion and Asiago Ravioli found it to be very good, just the right combination of spice, sweet and creamy. Everyone else said that they really liked the food. A couple had eaten there before and stated they had never had a «bad» meal but some menu items were better than others. Will go back when in town.

My husband and I tried Pinocchio’s last week for dinner. Terrible!!! I was a little concerned about how the quality of food would be and ordered a Meatball Grinder thinking it was a safe bet no matter what, right? Wrong. I have had a better one from Subway and I don’t even like Subway! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata and it was all greasy and shiny and weird looking. He ended up sharing my sandwich with me because as bad as it was, it wasn’t as bad as his meal. Bad Bad Bad — go somewhere else!

Pinocchio’s is our FAVORITE place to eat in town! Family friendly, or a great place for a quiet date, Pinocchio’s never fails to delight. My personal favorite is to order a green salad with one of their delicious dressings(balsamic is great, but so is the blue cheese), and the pepperoni roll appetizer(to eat as my main dish). We have a large family, so we have tried nearly everything on the menu, and there isn’t one dish that we would not recommend. Their signature spaghetti is wonderful, the pizzas are great, as are the calzones. My older boys enjoy the pasta with clam sauce. Just can’t recommend Pinocchio’s highly enough! The waitstaff is always welcoming, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet — never rushed. What a treasure we have in town. Sometimes gets crowded on Friday or Saturday nights; just get there early, or wait a bit. It’s worth it!

I have eaten at Pinocchio’s a lot over the years, I first found them when they were on Main street next to Mike O’Shays. Back then, they were warm and friendly and had hot delicious food. It seems as if places decline in quality and customer service after they expand. I called in to order lunch to go, the women on the phone was pleasant and very nice. When I get there, the women at the counter gives me the bill and the food and says«Oh just so you know, we don’t do lunch to go, if you do it again you might catch some grief.» Right… like that statement wasn’t grief… 1.If you don’t do lunch to go, then do not say«yes» when I ask to place an order to go. 2. I have done this several times and nobody has ever mentioned anything. 3. Who says that to a paying customer? Even if that is not their policy, they should have kept quiet and just not take anymore lunch orders to go. I felt it was rude, even though the woman was quite nice. 4. My food was cold and not even heated, even the bread was hard and very cold. 5. They messed the order up and put meatballs in a dish I had asked for without meatballs(it happens, I understand, but the place was dead, maybe one other customer in there) 6. They didn’t put the lid on right and marinara spilled all through the bag and only a DROP got on my car seat. YEAHBOY! :( Never eating here again. And the marinara sauce is watery and bland. I feel like I was cheated out of my money. Pinnochio’s you have betrayed me and my experience will resonate all throughout LONGMONT mwawahhahahahahha
