This s a 3.5 star review, but I like to round up. The food is excellent, but the service is only«good», not great. All I can say is be sure to check your check total against the prices on the menu before signing the receipt.

The lasagna is the best in town I’d even say that its the best Italian food in Longmont.

Have now visited twice. I am not impressed. First time I had lasagna bolognese. Was very bland. Dinner salad was extra. Second time had a special type chicken scampi. Flavor was ok, chicken was in weird chunks instead of tenderloins that would be more pleasing to the eye. Pretty dry too. Bread was 2 tiny pieces of hard bread with no real flavor. Again no dinner salad with meal. Doubt very seriously if I’ll try a third time. Wine was good, but wine is good everywhere.

Completely authentic, every bite was scrumptous!!! I had egplant parmigina, a favorite of mine, my whole life, and this dish came well proportioned, a homemade sauce that was amazing, every bite a treat !!, it was prepared with the right amount of cheese and noodles underneath, was to behold!!! My mate had the porkloin special with a cream sauce that was a delicacy. The atmosphere was quite comfortable, quiet, with large shiny wood floors, that made the entire experience homey. And Included with our special night, was our awsome wait staff, Angie!!, who made us feel right at home! Well, now, This WILLBE our home to eat at often! :) We look forward to our next visit…

I simply love this family style restaurant! Very friendly, congenial staff and owners make you feel right at home! Although they dont advertise as a Gluten free or Vegan Restaurant, they accomodated my friend’s & my sensitivities in a heartbeat, with a delicious grain-free dish with zoodles & vegan entrée for my friend.

Best Italian food in the area. The Lasagna is awesome. Friendly, casual atmosphere.

My wife and I were just in here. She’s gluten-free while I’m not. We were stoked to find an Italian place that accommodated that. While it’s not a true gf kitchen, they handle sensitivities great. I had the carrot ginger soup, which was phenomenal. Sweet roasted carrots and a strong ginger bite. We shared a gf pizza, which was the best we’ve had in town. I want to try their homemade crust eventually, but this was pretty damn good. While they don’t make the crust, it’s hard to cook the damn things right(I should know). This was light and crispy. And the toppings were perfect: caramelized onions, roasted garlic, artichoke, and roasted red peppers. And the dessert. Holy crap. Homemade salted caramel gelato. The meal was good, but that was the perfect end. So damn good. Other people have slammed the décor, but we loved it. It’s fun, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and kind of classic, just like our lovely town. It’s hard to argue with a chalkboard that obviously has little kid scribbles on it. Chris, the owner and our server was great too. With two soups, a carafe of wine, a pizza, and gelato, we came out for under $ 50. A great date night spot.

I had been wanting to check out this little gem. Immediately upon entering, I was taken back to Boston where there are plenty of these little family run Italian restaurants. You feel as if you have been invited to dine in someone’s home! My husband had the butternut squash soup & special baked ziti. The lasagna was perfect for a cold, wintery evening. In this era of chain restaurants, it is nice to have unpretenious, comfortable honest to goodness family Italian restaurant in town. We’ll be back!

Can I just say this place is amazing!!! From the food to the staff! I had eaten here the first time on a take out lasagna dinner. Asked for a couple menus, saw they had a gluten free menu.(For my gluten free friends) When I got home and tried my food thought I died and went to heaven so I went to work and shared the menu. All my co– workers have thanked me again and again. I then just ran in one time for a soup and salad to go and the owner was sampling wine with a distributor, got up to get a Gorgonzola dip with crostini, asked if I would like to try some, not much of a Gorgonzola girl but I tried it anyway, WOW, I am now.(Got some to go!) So I take my husband there tonight, not realizing it is 7:30 and they close at 8:00. We walk in and are greeted by a wonderful hostess Angie, we sit and eat the MOST Amazing stuffed crust pizza. . I would give this place 10 stars if that was an option!

This is one of the times I wish I could give additional half stars. I’ve been here twice; both times were about the same in quality. I’ve only had their foccacia pizza slices for $ 6, which was good but not terrific. Both times, the food took about 25 – 30 minutes. For a slice of premade pizza, unacceptable. Upon ordering, I was warned by the server that they use little toppings on their slices. But upon it’s arrival, I found them to suffice. When I returned from the restroom, a server had already cleared off my table as if I’d left. The limited menu seems appealing although I can’t comment on any of the other dishes. The décor is artifacts found in their historic building during the restoration and remodel.

BF and I just had dinner. First thing I liked walking in the door is the smell of food. Too many restaurants are sterile. Was greeted promptly and shown a seat. We ordered Caesar salads, lasagna and sausage/meatball and spaghetti. Loved the dressing on the salad. BF loved the lasagna. I’m more of an angel hair pasta person, which I didn’t see on the menu. Will give another entrée a try next time. They make handcrafted soda flavors and offer desserts. Focaccia served with the meal. Service was great, enjoyed the eclectic décor and will go back.

If I could give a zero-star review for this«restaurant» I would. This place is absolutely horrible. Our server look like he crawled out from underneath a diesel truck. It took at least a half hour for them to deliver our food — and we were the only party there! And when the food was delivered — OMG! It was basically inedible. I ordered a Mediterranean salad and what they brought was this tiny little thing that had feta cheese, wet lettuce, and Mandarin oranges in it. I thought it was a side salad! Stay away from this place under any and all circumstances.

Racheli’s might just have the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. Jalapeño and cheese crusted pepperoni pizza. If you get it, you will get monthly cravings, guaranteed. I have had the Parmesan and Lasagna, all outstanding.

Finally came by to give this place a chance and so glad we did! Kitschy decore makes it feel homey and very«red checked table» but in a comforting way. Menu is diverse and they can also accommodate some changes or items not listed, just ask! My lasagna was tasty and cheesy and DH was able to get a special chicken pasta dish with no food issues… For the homemade ginger soda, they addd more soda water to help with it being so sweet, that made it very nice. For dessert, we had the carrot cake with lemon frosting and the cannoli cupcake type thing. The cake was warmed and rich and lovely, best new place in town for carrot cake for sure! The cannoli was a neat twist on a classic and we enjoyed it as well… Overall the meal was great from start to finish and we look forward to our next visit. If you haven’t tried this place yet, come for a warm supper and prepare to spend time just sitting, relaxing, and having food serve by nice people in a low stress environment.

Great find. My little daughter spotted it walking out of the library and we went in the back. It smells wonderful inside, the kitchen is open to the eating area and you can see all their activity. We had gingered carrot soup, a nice salad and a great foccacia pizza with pesto, mushrooms, garlic and chicken. Yum. I want to try all their dishes. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly.

Racheli’s has great potential but needs to focus on either their Deli offerings or their restaurant offerings. They may use homemade ingredients, but the service is not so hot. We came in during Festival on Main, and the staff was short in number. Obviously not set up for dinner or large groups. While I don’t mind a limited menu, I do expect more than 3 choices in a category. Again — choose whether you’re a Deli or a restaurany. Food was so-so — we ordered 2 $ 10 plates of pasta with one meatball and one sausage link each was barely enough to feed my kids. The $ 8 sandwich was mostly the ciabatta bread with a scant slice of meat and cheese. It took over twenty minutes for our meal, which was delivered a plate at a time with several minutes in between each player’s arrival. They offered a side, then came back to tell me they didn’t actually have any of that, I said didn’t want anything else, but they forgot to remove it from the check. Overall, I was disappointed after all the hype…

Just ate some lunch here, I think they need to focus on either being a deli or a restaurant, A bit pricey for a lunch being served on a paper plates with chips being extra. Sandwich was tasty. I noticed they are using a counter top hot plate type stove on a shelf unit with wheels. Menu is very minimal.

Had the pizza. Not good at all. Put on some kind of bread not dough. It was really soggy and the sauce tastes funny. Haven’t tried any other items but don’t get the pizza!

Gluten free bread was very good. Sandwich ingredients were so so. Husband said the Italian sandwich was bland. The turkey was overwhelmed by the Gorgonzola sauce. They have a pretty good gluten free menu so I will have to give it another try sometime.

This little hole in the wall is a great find. It is just a half a block down from my office so going there for lunch is a great option for me. The food is amazing. We have done dinner for a big group(we did this order to go) and I have eaten there a couple times as well. Lasagna — Awesome, Egg Plant Parm — Awesome, Hawaiian Pizza with cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed crust — Amazing. It can be a little hard to find but look for it. It’s on the East side of Main Street between 3rd and 4th ave.(You can usually park behind the building off of Kimbark.)
