Best Pakistani food in LA that I have tried so far. I even wanted to meet the owner to find out about franchise options but he was out. Loved it and will surely come back when I visit long beach again.

We order delivery from this spot almost weekly. It’s great food with great pricing. I got the tandoori brisket tonight and I highly recommend !

A bit delayed in writing this review. Absolutely love and recommend this spot for quick lunch. Fast fresh fun and flavor packed food. Was here for a short work trip and ended up trying this for lunch on day one and had the next two meals here. Introduced a coworker to Indian food and he swore by it and wanted to go back the next couple of days! Must try if you live here or visiting.

Walked in on a Tuesday at 1pm, there weren’t any seats available, which means it is not good for groups, however, the dishes kept on coming out from the kitchen area, and this kept my appetite increasing. Man oh man, it looked really good. I ordered once a seat was available. I ended up ordering the 3 chicken plate and the chicken tikka masala with rice and a side of garlic naan. Waited about 15 minutes for these dishes to arrive to my table. The curry was amazing!!! Just everything! Also the extra sauces they offered were to perfection! The workers there are very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back to this joint! Seating 3 stars, but overall(food was too good)= 5 stars: D

I love the beef kabob and the naan, also the three different sauces. Chicken kabob seems to be a little less tasty.

Glad I finally tried this place out. It’s right near my house and I will for sure be back here. Per fellow Unilocal reviews, I had the chicken three ways… its three good size pieces of chicken, one was in a pesto, and the other two seemed very similar, but all were equally delicious and came with two sauces, a creamy garlic sauce and a creamy spicy sauce. The chicken comes with a side of salad which was good, green beans/potatoes(delicious) and rice which was a bit dry and bland(overall unmemorable, I will probably just ask for double salad next time). I think my meal was only like $ 10.00 and it was a LOT of food. Check in on Unilocal for free drink! The place is pretty small inside, but clean and modern. Most of the people there were ordering their food to-go. They also have tons of Indian-inspired dishes(curry bowls, etc.) The chicken plate I had seemed more Mediterranean than Indian, but I guess this place is supposed to be Pakistani/Indian. I don’t know what it is, but it’s damn delicious.

I was waiting for my prescription to be filled, so I went to this place for lunch. I enjoy Indian food, but haven’t had Pakistani food before. One of the workers told me that the food served there is a bit of both, as they have similar origins. I used the check-in bonus for a free soft drink(lemonade) with $ 10 or more purchase. I got the honey glazed chicken platter($ 11). It came with rice, salad, and veggies. They also provide three sauces: white, green, and orange. I don’t know their names, sorry! The green and white sauces were mild and not distinct, but the orange sauce was tasty and had a kick. The kick wasn’t too strong, but was present. Everything was tasty. One thing that surprised me was how *FAST* the service was. It was maybe 10 min between placing my order and getting my food. It was after 1pm, so that may have been a factor. The location is small, so there’s not a lot of room to sit during a rush. Still, a pleasant experience.

I ordered my first food from here today via Grubhub and I didn’t regret it. I ordered the Chana Masala Curry bowl, the Mixed Vegetable Curry bowl, and large house salad. They’re all pretty good and I got free delivery because they’re minimum is around $ 20. It’s pretty cheap and the food is good. Give it a try! It’s also good for vegetarians such as myself.

Yum! We were looking for a low key and easy dinner to pick up and eat in our hotel room after a long day of driving. This absolutely hit the spot! The mint sauce is fantastic and the meat was prepared right before our eyes — so fresh! The cashier was also friendly and helpful. We used the Unilocal deal and so very happy we did! We tried the beef, chicken and paneer tikka wraps — all were very good!

Definitely doable. When you just cannot make it to an Indian restaurant, this will certainly tide you over. Fries are good also. Update: I have ordered pick up from here too many times in the last month or so to count. I even got my co workers frequenting this spot. Restaurant quality people.

Well, last year for my first time in November, it was pretty good. Then for second time last weekend, I’m a little bit disappointed because chicken is little bit too dry, not so many veggies or tomatoes except a lot of rices and all I got is one potato, that’s what puzzled me. The price is little over, almost $ 9 dollars. I should try salad instead. So I’m giving this a three stars for the food, for second time. The young lady at front, she’s friendly. Except one guy Asian, he was like with a prim looks, weird. Will I go back?. Maybe. But that guy better not give me looks down, I don’t feel comfortable as a customer with his prim expression and eyes rolls… And oh, it’s a small restaurant. You will have to sit next to any strangers. Kinda like awkwardly, crowd. So, I focus on eating food than strangers LOL. And there’s two table and chairs outside. If nobody on tables(quiet) then you’re OK. :)

I think Fresh Kabobs has pretty good paratha lamb wraps. I prefer my wraps in paratha to naan. Occasionally I’ll get a bite that tastes like fake butter, which happens more regularly when I’m eating it as leftovers, but overall it’s a nice flaky, soft-crispy, strong wrap to hold in all the lamb and onions and the way too much sauce that I pour in there. They have a selection of sauces in squeezy bottles — garlic, mango, and mint among them — all of which impart radically different flavors to your wrap. The mango straight up tastes like Christmas cookies: so much clove! The other two are more understated, and the garlic so understated it may as well be mayo with a little kick.

!!!FOODPOISONING!!! They use the same brush to put sauce on raw chicken and cooked chicken when it’s grilling. We both got terrible food poisoning from this place. ***DONOTGO***

If you like rich and bold flavors this is the place to come! It’s different because it’s Indian/Pakistan which is not as common as you’re average American or Mexican place so your meal is going to taste unlike any other food. Be different! Try something new, I recommend the chicken tikka masala $ 8 or 3-way chicken kabobs for $ 11 you can also order the 2 and just split it so you can try some of each. You get different flavors and you will end up really liking at least one of them. Filling and good sized portions. They also deliver ! Free within 2 miles. This place is small, but does have indoor seating, located on 4th street across from wing stop near the wal mart. The customer service was excellent. Surprisingly I have no cons, I will be coming back. Hope you like it!

My first low budget option was in n out burgers, but we use the coupon from Unilocal and we get a great deal. The food have great flavor, 3 different sauces, fresh food and huge portions . The cashier girl is very friendly and patience, she speak Spanish and make me feel more comfortable cuz she explained all ingredients on each plate. My family and I definitely will be back to the place. 100% recommend if you want to try something new this is the place, don’t forget to buy the Unilocal coupon

When you live in downtown and you want Indian food quick, your choices are limited. Growing up in Fremont, I was probably spoiled by the vast options of Indian we had(Pizza and Curry!). Southern California is great for Latin cuisine, but the Bay has better Asian. Sorry y’all. Fresh Kabobs definitely did not live up to the reviews that I had read on Unilocal.I ordered the saag paneer the first time I had went, paneer wraps another time, chana masala another… Everything is super mediocre. An order of naan only has two thin pieces so we always order two. The protein or veggie bowls they skimp on the protein and give you hella rice. Which we usually order extra of too. The wraps are the size of tacos and came with a few cubes of paneer and a tablespoon of chopped onion. WUT. Never. Again. I give it 3 stars for being close, having a Unilocal deal, and their delicious sauces. Makes me miss the Bay Area’s spots. Overall tasty when you’re too lazy to cook.

You’ll miss this place if you don’t know where it is and it doesn’t help that it’s right next to a great pizzeria. But if you really like authentic curry and Indian food, come here. The best part is that they grilled my chicken right when I ordered it. This makes the wait a little longer but the presentation and aroma alone make it worth it. My chicken was juicy and the curry was robust with spices and heat. The blend of three different types of rice is also a nice touch to the plate. The place is clean and organized and great for lunch. I should of ordered two plates.

Was hungry, had some time to kill, and was sorta in the area. Checked my Unilocal and this place popped up. So why not give it a try and take if of my bookmarked list? Before I checked into Unilocal theirs a $ 12 for $ 20 deal which I happily bought and used to pay for my play sister and my lunch. I got the Three way chicken($ 11) which came with a side of sautéed potatoes and sautéed green beans and a side of rice pilaf. The Three chicken tenders are individually marinated one is traditional, the second is herbs, and the third is cream. The portion was huge and I didn’t finish it. Took it home and my best friend finished it 5 or so hours later and he said it was still very good. I also ordered a side of garlic naan bread($ 2) two pieces came in the order and was so yummy! Perfectly grilled with plenty of garlic and flavor My lil sister got the Grilled Salmon bowl($ 9) which consisted of a smaller portion of rice pilaf and mixed veggies with a decent size helping of salmon. The salmon is 6oz and is west coast wild caught marinated with fresh herbs and traditional spices. She said she really enjoyed her meal and had a hard time finishing it because it was such a big serving. Overall food is really good. Chicken was tender and juicy and the veggies and potatoes were crispy and cooked perfectly. The rice was nicely seasoned and wasn’t too mushy or firm. They have three different sauces available for dipping your chicken, adding to your salad, or whatever you please. you get the sauces yourself, they’re located in the mini fridge located next to the soda/juice/water dispenser. Parking is on the street and is metered. Or you can park in the near by parking structure for free for the first two hours. The service is lacking and pretty much a fast food setting. You order, pay, and wait for them to call your number or bring it to you, and that’ll be the last time you see or hear from them. Throughout our dining experience one of the workers kept going out back to smoke and didn’t bother to close the back door so the smell of cigarette smoke flooded the dining area… ew gross. Hence the minus one star…
