The Piri Piri chicken was ok. The shrimp skewers and fried catfish were both over cooked. The Ahi tuna was fair at best. I won’t be back. I don’t know how this had such a high rating.

The piri piri chicken was great! Premium side of steamed broccoli was awful. Stick with the sides thatare included. Nice experience otherwise.

This place somewhere between Popeye’s and Bonefish Grill(strangely close name, I know) as far as food and ambiance go. You order at the front counter and then someone brings your food out to the table. Good place to go with kids since it’s not too fussy. My family ordered the fish and chips, red snapper entrée with piri piri mushrooms and zucchini, kids fish plate with corn on the cob and a calamari appetizer. The fried fish plate was probably the best thing, the fish was cooked well, very tender with a light crisp coating. The kids plate had the same fish but only two small pieces(which was enough for our two-year-old but wouldn’t be for anyone much older). My fish was okay, but the piri piri sauces at the table added some oomph. I liked the list of healthy vegetable side options. I had a generous portion of zucchini and it went really well with the tartar sauce served with the fish. The mushroom topper for my fish I felt was over-dressed in the piri piri sauce. I haven’t really made up my mind as to how I feel about this place but the service was great so I wouldn’t mind giving it at least one more try.

I honestly can’t remember when I have last had a meal as boring as the one that I just had at Boneheads. Clam chowder — flavor profile is good but a little salty. It has been sitting way too long and become extremely mushy and thick. Chicken breast plate — «seasoned» rice and fries were very bland. Chicken was overcooked. Lemon herb sauce was ok. Medium sauce is better and probably better on chicken than the lemon herb I ordered. All in all, very underwhelming. The food could have been simple perfection, but instead it was simple boredom. I am disappointed and had hoped for more.

Ordered via Chef Shuttle 2.5 hours in advance and they still didn’t have it ready on time. I ordered my ahi tuna medium-rare. What I got was far from ahi, was overcooked and smelled super strong. I couldn’t eat it. My grilled zucchini was soggy and they didn’t even give me the rice that comes with it. I will never eat here again.

New fast casual fish restaurant in Little Rock. Visited soon after its opening so I’m sure it will get better. So so on the food but the service was excellent. I’ll go back.

The proselytizing Christian music is a little annoying, but I’ve heard worse ballads. Though, as a paying customer, I do find it off putting that even when getting my fish there has to be some kind of agenda attached to it. I don’t get take out to have a religious experience; I just want to eat my stupid food. All I’m saying is just be respectful of the people of different backgrounds who may visit your restaurant, that’s all. There aren’t any trash cans, though, they may have just not gotten around to it. The restaurant is beautiful, they really went all out. They put my order in straight away, but it took them a while to get them it cooked. I didn’t mind, though. The fries were soggy and a little old. I didn’t end up finishing them, but I imagine if you get there right at lunch time they’re very good –though, for the life of me, I can’t figure it why they’re calling them chips if they don’t make them in the traditional British way(you know, the wedges). If they’re just fries, call them as such so there isn’t any misunderstanding. The seasoning on them was great. And the fish was delicious. It was the best part. I may come back, but I’ll definitely try not to catch them on a slow day next time.

My boyfriend and I are excited to see this new restaurant open up in this area and hope that it does well. It is connected to the Promenade, which is lots of shopping and other restaurants, so there is plenty of parking. I ordered the Appetizer of Chicken Tenders with the hot Piri Piri sauce($ 5.99). They have different sauces available and all the sauces are also on each table, so you can try them out. And, I ordered a side of seasoned fries. There were about 5 tenders which were fairly large and they had plenty of sauce on them. The«hot» sauce did have good heat to it. I really liked that the chicken was crispy, moist & saucey. The seasoned fries were too salty for my taste. My boyfriend ordered a fish taco(talapia) and a shrimp taco with a side of grilled sweet potatoes. He didn’t really care for the tacos and said he would not order them the next time. He said the cilantro coleslaw on the tacos was good and the talapia fish was great, but the shrimp tasted like it had been sitting out too long or was old. And, the tortillas were hard«stale?» The sweet potato side tasted just like that — a sweet potato with some seasoning salt. I have posted pics of our food. Our meals and 2 iced teas was almost $ 24. The Cashier was«Jessica» and she was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The bad was that women’s restroom could have used a little attention. The toilet was dirty, trash can lid was broken and the floor needed a little sweeping action. I liked all of the Piri Piri sauces that I tasted. They have a pretty large menu to choose from and it would be easy to eat a healthy meal(or not — next time I’m going to try the Crispy Fish & Chips).

This newly opened Boneheads was much anticipated by me. My husband and I checked it out around 3:30PM on the second day that it was opened for business. We were the only guests in the restaurant at this time. You walk up to the counter and place your order, choosing from the extensive menu that is posted above the counter. The young lady at the cash register was patient as we pondered the mostly healthy menu. I ordered the Mahi Mahi Dinner with the pineapple salsa topping. My husband had the Angus Burger. I noticed my dinner was $ 1 more than than the posted price. I inquired about this and it was explained to me that it was posted in error and they were trying to correct it. I was charged the higher unlisted price to my dissatisfaction. The manager was seated near us visiting a future employee, vendor? I told him of this price discrepancy and he acknowledged it but didn’t offer to amend the extra charge. Anyway, back to the process. I thought the wait was a little lengthy considering the restaurant was empty. The food was eventually brought to us by the same friendly young lady at the counter. My Mahi Mahi was excellent and was grilled exactly to my liking. The rice and cilantro cole slaw was very good. I doused my rice with the medium heat Piri Piri sauce. My husband’s burger was of a steak like texture that he really liked. His side of grilled zucchini was also very tasty. My first impression was of very good food, albeit a little pricey. I am looking forward to the next visit.
