Delicious California omelet, and banana pecan waffle! Even the coffee was quite tasty. Very short wait, which was totally worth it! The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating.

Was craving crepes one day. Ordered to go. Blueberry and peaches crêpe and strawberry. Driest crepes ever. and cost me $ 20.00. Crepes were very thin. Not fully filled for 10 bucks each.

I really enjoyed this place. My wife and I went for breakfast. The menu has a lot of different choices. Coffee is excellent. We got a sweet and savory crêpe so that we could share and have a little of both. The fruit and Nutella crêpe was amazing. Full of fruit and just the right amount of Nutella. We also got the spicy sausage crêpe and that was fantastic. Definitely spicy. I think we found our new Sunday brunch spot. This area really needed a restaurant like this. I will also be coming back to try lunch and dinner.

This is the sweetest little café in this area. Awesome coffee bar too. Came for a late lunch/early dinner. I enjoyed a hot Italian sausage crêpe that was served with some of the best potatoes, perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of crisp. The crêpe was perfect with Italian sausage, peppers, mushrooms and topped off with provolone cheese. Perfecto! My companion had the Reuben sandwich that was so fresh, the kraut seemed just made. Served with a side salad that was also ample and homemade ranch dressing. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to returning for their breakfast!

Welcome Café Americano to Sun City Lincoln Hills! Café Americano is a very pleasant place to enjoy a freshly made sandwich, crêpe, omelette, salad or other meal. The menu is really extensive. I ordered the California Crêpe, which was filled with chicken, bacon, tomatoes and avocado – So yummy. My Linus group was with me and everyone said they really enjoyed their lunch. Yes, you must go to the counter to order; but I think that makes it more efficient. Food is then brought to your table. The staff is friendly and we didn’t have to wait very long before our choices arrived. The Chef also came to each table to make sure everyone was happy with their meal. We will return to try another freshly made meal. I hope they will expand to a dinner menu.

Very good food and service. Ordering at the counter poses no obstacle as several restaurants in Sacramento do the same. Parking may become a problem but not the fault of the restaurant. The crepes are very good with healthy ingredients.

This restaurant has a long way to go — I hope they make it. First impression is the two 15 minute only parking spots directly in front of the front door. Upon entering we asked the waitress/manager/host/cashier why the parking was 15 minutes only. She didn’t know(or care). There is no full table service. You have to go to the counter to order, pay(with pre-supposed tip), then find a table. Food is «ok,» not great. Hint: people go to restaurants to be served. Waitress was busy taking orders at the counter, pouring coffee, serving meals, getting condiments, and every other task. Food: okay, not great. Meridians beats them hands down. Ambience: nice. They did a nice job of decorating, but sadly, they can’t compete with Meridians view. Service: wait staff works hard, but it the counter service model doesn’t work. They are fighting an uphill battle with Meridians unless they make some changes to their business model. I don’t rate price, but this place is more expensive than Meridians.

They finally opened up the Café Americano in Sun City Lincoln Hills and in our opinion, it was worth the wait. They are still solving a few glitches when it comes to service but the food was great. and the menu was even better than Meridians. It seems they know what the people up here like. They serve breakfast and lunch and today it was breakfast. They are also willing to make adjustments when it comes to their menu. Next time out I’ll try the club sandwich and even stay in community. so nice!!! I wish them all the luck in world and great success here.
