Went with my Mom this morning. Seated quickly, drink orders taken and brought out quickly. I ordered the Ranchers Omelet and Mom got the Benedict! Country fried style potatoes were perfect, omelet was packed and not too much of an egg overload, eggs were perfect on the Benedict, and ham was huge! Mom loved the hash browns but said she’d probably get the country potatoes next time. Oh, forgot to mention food came in less than 10min and waitress was great!

So impressed with both the food and the service. Outstanding. We were a large party and the food server made no mistakes and the food came out so fast. She also had a great sense of humor too. I stopped and spoke with the manager afterwards and complimented her staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Tasteless food and horrible service. Been there twice and won’t be back. The owners really need to do something or they will be out of business.

First off… I have to give kudos to Teri the waitress… Every time we go in she is running the WHOLE floor(maybe under staff?)… But Teri is a PRO! She is fast, efficient, and has the BEST personality. Always smiling and laughing… While working her butt off. You go girl. Second… The almond waffles are to die for. We drive 20 mins to this place just for these waffles. Makes our stomachs happy. 5 ***** stars!

Good food great staff. Didn’t have to wait long at all. Clean and decent portion sizes. Our waiter did a great job. Family and I will return. Recommend giving this place a chance.

The place was not busy at 1 pm on a Monday but I still had to stand around waiting for a table. The food is mostly gut busting American for lunch. I had the Asian chicken salad with the dressing on the side. Served fast and fresh.

Amazing food great staff! Ti and Kellie are the BEST waitresses you’ll find in Lincoln! I love the country décor and the fact they know you by name! If Christina is there, we refuse to sit at her tables, She’s not only rude but a shitty waitress!

Nothing wrong with this place in particular. It’s not bad at all. You sit down, the bring you coffee, constantly refill your coffee… take your order, bring your food out before you even have a chance to relax, immediately followed by the bill. This is the fast food place of sit-down restaurants. They have a pretty big menu and no matter what I order, I have my food in less than 10 minutes — even when crazy busy. I;ve seen this thing with like 3 pounds of potatoes and eggs, etc. You will probably have a heart attack if you eat it — but it is legit! Their waffles are not really that great. Not *bad* but not great. They seem to be really oily. When you get a waffle with those small pin-size holes in them and they are crispy, it means they’ve been frying in the waffle maker. I like my waffles to have a little more substance and be a bit more«doughy». I don’t know if that makes sense. Point is — this place isn’t trying to knock your socks off. They’re just trying to get you full and out the door for a really good price. You can eat here with your wife and kid for under $ 20 and have a decent sized breakfast for sure.

THEWORST… FOODORSERVICE? it’s a coin toss. We didn’t wait long on Sat morning for a table, now I know why. I ordered a coffee and the Pecan/Bacon waffles with bacon and an over easy egg. My husband ordered an OJ and a Haystack. We got our drinks right away and while we waited for our food. We watched a single wasp try to escape the large window we sat next to, although we should have seen this as a sign. We got our food too fast, yes I said too fast. My husband was looking forward to the Haystack thinking about the Skillet things Denny’s had they might still haven’t been to one in years. He was disappointed when he saw the heaping plate not big enough to hold the food. His breakfast had hot spots(sure sign of being microwaved) the potatoes tasted like they had been dropped in a deep fryer like french fries not«country potatoes» it had lots of stuff but not any flavor it all tasted the same. My waffle was pretty if you didn’t look at the handful of pecans dumped on it with a strip of bacon on top with two little warm syrup and a soft butter-like substance, my egg and bacon were on a separate plate that looked unappetizing. I moved the bacon and pecans, still hopeful that the pecan pieces and bits of bacon inside the waffle would make up for poor presentation. Ugh, optimism sucks. I smeared the soft butter and poured some syrup and took my first bite anticipating lovely maple syrup fluffy waffle and bacony pecany goodness only to meet with a flavorless bite of fluff the first bite, second bite was flavorless fluff with half a pecan not a piece, third bite soggy stuff with another half pecan. The bacon wasn’t good greasy limp something. Not the yummy greasy that bacon can be more slick. My husband and I look at each other and say at the same time«how’s your breakfast» followed by a «you tell me first» lol… we agree it’s NOTGOOD or even fair but if we were homeless and didn’t know when our next chance at food was it would be edible. We start looking for anyone for more coffee and Oj or water or something and there are people but none of them come close enough or look up to make eye contact. We see then that when the waitress dumped our food off she has left the check and she brought a to go container with the food, lol, maybe it was a subconscious suggestion on her part to leave … we’ll never know because we never saw her again, maybe she was hiding, maybe she quit and moved out of town, maybe her guilt for serving such bad food made her hide. My husband said«lets go i’ll get you a real coffee(Starbucks), lets get out of here.» We took our ticket to the register, waited behind three groups none of which were asked how everything was… a normal question when leaving any food establishment, we weren’t asked either again there was no eye contact, no come back again, nothing. So I guess their plan, which I have to give them credit for being diabolical, is to serve just one crappy breakfast to each and every family in Lincoln. At 35.00 for two people I guess that will keep the doors open for a while. I’d like to think our sacrifice would be enough for anyone looking to go there. But knowing human nature you’re going to try to prove me wrong, all I can say is probable the same thing your mom/dad said at one time«Please trust me when I say don’t do it» If you still insist on eating there stop by the drug store for some antacids you’re in for a bumpy ride.

The service has always been decent for us. Our expectations are fairly reasonable. We expect to be seated promptly, asked what we want to drink when seated, order taken soon after and then check on us every so often. That’s been the case every time we’ve been here. Waffle Farm is a great local restaurant. It’s one we frequent regularly.

We have seen this place but had avoided it due to the lack of reviews. It was a mistake to have waited. We LOVED this place. Tons of seating space and most of it was filled. But they bus the table almost before you can make it to the front to pay, so they can seat you quickly. I ordered the Haystack and my wife had the eggs Benedict. Both were hot and delicious. Could not finish the haystack. It starts with TWOPOUNDS of potatoes and then they added about a half pound of meat and cheese and top it with two made to order eggs. A worthy food challenge if I ever saw one. The service was fast and attentive. Our coffee cups were constantly filled without having to ask. Loved this experience on a beautiful sunny Sunday. We will be back for sure.

Food was prepared well and had good flavor. Food came out promptly despite being really busy. The drinks came full of ice and was hard to get refilled. It’s not fast food, so no need to fill ice so full guys. Service was ok, the waitress was nice but disappeared and never asked how things were. Overall we’d probably come back again.

Great American breakfast! I ordered a tri tip dip but they forgot my au jus so they heated up my sandwich again(made it my meat dry and bread soggy). Could’ve been a good experience cause their waffle was yummy:)

We used to come here more often 2 years ago, but our experiences started going downhill so we took it off our list. Well, the day after Halloween we thought, «let’s see if they’ve improved?» A big NO! When served coffee we asked for cream. We waited and waited. When my water was brought, we asked for cream, we waited and waited. When our waitress took our order we asked for cream, and waited and waited. Finally I noticed cream on another table and had my son go get it. Really? 3 times. 3 different people and we had to go get it? Then I drank my water, my waitress asked if I would like more, I said yes, please, and I never got a water refill! The whole time! I also thought it interesting, that I gathered the straw trash, our creamer container trash(that we had to get on our own) into the small bowl the creamer was in. The waitress instead of taking this bowl of trash from our table, thought it would make a good impression to put our bill under it, like it’s a paper weight! What?! What is happening with this place? The food was not great either. My potatoes were under cooked. I tasted my son’s pancakes and they were kind of a soggy texture– not from syrup, just too wet; bleh. I’m sorry Waffle Farm, but you definitely need work in the servicing customers area and making sure the food is tasty! Fail!

I used to enjoy this restaurant with my family. We would have wonderful food and service, every time! Waffle Farm has slowly become worse and worse. The service is absolutely awful, food is blah and definitely over priced. My parents enjoy the restaurant so we continue to go — until last Sunday… My father(as well as my mother and myself) ordered the chicken fried steak and as he is halfway through his steak he finds a PIECEOFPLASTIC! It was right in the middle of the steak. We told the waitress, she then told the manager and instead of the manager coming and talking to us, they put an order for another one. Why would he want another one!?! Then the manager brought the new steak and mentioned she would take it off the bill. Seemed extremely unprofessional… I will NOT be returning to Waffle Farm.

So… I am new to the area and thought i should try this place based on the reviews. I’m not sure if it was a bad day to go but it wasn’t busy so it started off alright. We ordered the chicken friend steak and the waffle with strawberries. The waffle was bland and the strawberries were obviously frozen and thawed out in a microwave as they were mushy and NOT close to fresh. The chicken fried steak was okay and it was a lot of food. the service felt rushed and when we got our food, the server just slammed down our plates and slid them across the table. She also seemed preoccupied with texting her friends as she was actually walking around the restaurant floor checking her phone every two minutes. With two coffees, the bill was $ 24. Way overpriced for what we got and there are significantly better options as I felt the quality was not in line with the service or the price.
