Smashburger

The food at Smashburger is on point. Always fresh tasting high quality ingredients. I really like that they have a ton of options that are customizable. The best part is their website with their nutrition menu in which you can add and remove items at will (including minor things like butter on the bun) and it totals up your calories and macros.
I’ve had both their chicken and their burgers and they’re both really delicious. The chicken portion is generous and they get a great sear on the burgers. I love love love their fries. The regular fries are super thin which is my favorite and the sweet potato fries are cooked perfectly so that they’re soft and fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Their smash fries are equally delicious albeit greasier.
This particular location is what brings down the rating. Every time I’ve been there the tables are dirty and covered with old food. They just don’t seem to have enough staff to handle the lunch crowd. Today I tried to bus my own table and couldn’t find any trash bins. On top of that I find their prices for what you get are a little high. I got 3 kids meals and just a chicken sandwich (not a meal) and still ended up paying $ 30.
Overall it’s yummy and fairly healthy but I won’t be making it part of my regular weekly lunch rotation.

Went here last night for the first time! I’ve wanted to try it many times but my husband isn’t much of a burger guy. I finally was able to convince him and I wasn’t terribly disappointed.
First off they need to open both registers! It was a Saturday night pretty long wait to get our order in and the has one register open… Ummm. The girl that that took our order has no costumer skills just up selling skills. She wasn’t friendly at all when we first walked up and all she would say want to add fries to that. Anyway, I ordered smash burger reg and my husband order avocado burger I believe? And we got a side of the smash fries to share large size.
We sat down and didn’t wait to long when our burgers were brought out. First look was it looks great but is that really a large fry? Hahah I was disappointed by the large fry but oh well. The burger was great though and cooked well I think. I love the smash sauce on the burger. My husband said his was very good also and it looked great. The smash fries are good with the rosemary and olive oli, warning though can be lots of oli. My husband said this is his favorite burger place he’s been and better the jcws. Mostly because jcws always makes us sick. We will probably be back down the road maybe next time we will try a shake.(:

I went in there and watch the girl who made my hamburger play with her hair right before she made it. When I sent it back she deliberately with aditued showed me she was putting her gloves on. I have 15 years of customer service experence. You do not play with your hair and not wash your hands after before making someone’s food. I will not be going back strictly bc of her reaction to me sending my food back for her not Washing her hands before making my food.

I’ve been here several times over the past year as we live nearby. Not terribly impressed but I am leaving four stars due to my husbands love if this place. My biggest complaint is they have a hard time understanding a burger without any pink in it. I even say ‘burn it’ when ordering and I still end up with a pink burger. It’s frustrating. They do make a great milkshake though! My husband loves it though. He couldn’t find a reason to complain.

I went there on the night of 1÷28÷16. There were seven of us in our group. They people working the restaurant made four mistakes. That’s over a 50% fail rate. One person ordered the Beehive and they left off the BBQ sauce, the is a BBQ sandwich. They forgot the fries on one order. That isn’t bad but they supposedly had garlic and rosemary on them. I could see some green on them but for two seasonings that have such strong flavors I could taste neither. The last two mistakes were the same two of the burgers were raw in the middle, not pink but raw. This really makes one wonder how this happens because the burgers are not thick at all.

If a high school aged kid with a crew cut is working, don’t have him make you a shake. I usually love the shakes here, but today it was terrible. Extremely low amount of shake in the cup and there were big chunks of unblinded ice cream. I was disappointed.

So delicious and great service! Had the peppermint shake that’s in season and it was great too!

I’m only giving this place one star since I can’t give it zero.
Smashburger is a good franchise but this location is absolutely AWFUL! Avoid this place like the plague.
Horrible employees coupled with terrible management. The manager berates his employees in front of the customers. He is dirty in appearance and makes the food unappetizing.
Dirty grills, uncleared tables everywhere.
The owner of this place should be ashamed of himself.
Just disgusting.
And on our way out it was about 3 minutes after they closed and they had locked the door and locked us in the restaurant until the mean kid who obviously didn’t want to be there showed up with the key to let us out. That is totally illegal.
What an absolute pile of garbage!

Their food is tasty enough for me, but the only reasons I have eaten here are because I had a coupon and then a gift card.
It’s too expensive for what it is, which is like a five guys or in-​n-​out or some other kind of in-​between burger joint that isn’t fast food nor is it a sit-​down restaurant with waiters.
The employees seemed nice enough, but not really trained or maybe they just didn’t care. My girlfriend ordered a chicken avocado club with the bacon on the side and the multi-​grain bun switched out for an egg bun. When we got home with our food we found that the bacon was on the sandwich, the bun was still multi-​grain, and for some reason the avocado was in a container. The receipt was correct (it said «sub egg») and we heard the cashier tell the cook to put the bacon on the side, but as our food was nearing completion we heard some confusion between the employees about the order («Wasn’t it no bacon or something?») as we sat five feet away.
The price to tastiness to service ratio just isn’t good enough to return.

Everyone hates the Unilocal reviewer who complains about the service. But I have been to this location five or six times and they have NEVER gotten my order right. These are not complicated orders. And then they give me a dopey look when I ask them to kindly fix the mistake. Eventually they will get it right, I tell myself, and I keep coming back, and they keep giving me something other than what I ordered. I can only assume that other patrons are having a similar experience.

Normally I love Smashburger but this time at this location it just wasn’t great. I mean, it wasn’t terrible but here it is.
I currently cannot have dairy products (it’s the worst) and so I ordered a build your own burger and told them not to add any cheese. She even double check with me and I said no, no cheese. So when I got my burger, there was something weird and fried on it and then I looked and it was cheese. AND there were two of us and they brought our burgers out at different times. It was just weird.
Then my husbands burger came pretty much medium rare. It was pretty red. He also ordered their delicious sweet potato fries and my husband described them as tasting like there is lots of cross contamination in the back.
So I mean yeah not terrible but just not as delicious as it usually is.

I used to like Smash but not anymore. In fact I’m making a vow to never return to Smash at least this location, ever again. We went during lunch around 12, thought we’d get our food pretty fast because we were second in line… little did I know we would be waiting for 35 minutes! The food was rushed and slobbered with mustard, it was pretty gross. They were understaffed that day which happens but in the future a big sign should have been put up in front of the restaurant so people know they’d be waiting a whole lot longer than usual.

I love SmashBurger and their shakes and I’ve never been unhappy with any of my experiences ever, but my experience at this location was one of the most significant bummers of my lifetime.
The cashier was very short with us upon taking our order. We made our order, two milkshakes with no whipped cream to stay, very politely and very clearly.
When it was brought to us, the order was incorrect as the shakes had whipped cream and they were in to-​go cups and not the glass with the bit of extra shake in the metal cup, which is honestly the best part about a milkshake is having that extra bit in the metal cup and the part we were looking forward to most. When we politely said that the orders were for here and should have no whipped cream, they employee claimed that the ticket said differently, though our ticket clearly stated our order the way that we asked for it.
Not wanting to be THOSE people we accepted the incorrect orders and were even still disappointed as the employees had totally skimped on ingredients.
My shake had no more than one Oreo in it and my girlfriend’s was basically pure peanut buttery milk.
I will never come back to this location and I will do everyone a service by telling them to give it a wide birth as well.

I like coming here and getting a fried egg on my burger. It is sooooo good. The burgers are always good here. I love the smash fries and the vegetable frites.

This place is a dump! It’s very dirty! It’s 2:38, we got here at 2 (still hanging with family) and its filthy. I mean, what a shit hole! The manager doesn’t seem to care. I asked the kid behind the register of someone could wipe down the table. «Yeah, when I can get to it.» we got the guy in a red shirt, the manager maybe, to do it. Dude used 1 janky towel he was already using on the counter to wipe 3 tables.
THERE IS STILL FOOD STREWN ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!!

Very good burgers; moist and buttery on a nice soft bun. Fries are not included in the burger price which is a shame, but the fries do come in hefty portions and are crisp and well-​seasoned. For the food you get the prices are too high IMO. The guac tasted out of the bag.
Service here is all right. The place was pretty dead when we came in though Cubby’s next door had a huge mob. Went through 4 ketchup bottles before finding one full enough to squirt without all that obnoxious shaking, sputtering and spraying fart-​style delivery.

Online ordering is a joke. Timing is off because they never see your order. The people were nice and the food is fresh but get it together. If your going to offer something, please test it.

Shame on me for assuming that this was going to be just another burger joint. My husband and I ordered SALADS that totally rocked. Of course, we also enjoyed some veggie frites and deep fried pickles, just to include the obligatory fried food to our experience.
I’m looking forward to coming back and trying a burger. Their «smash sauce» is a combo of ketchup, mayo, relish, mustard… and I can’t wait to see what that is like on a burger!

Dropped by for lunch and was not disappointed.
I got «the Beehive» specialty burger. The bun was crisp and the honey glaze made the burger exceptional.
Fries are uniquely short and extra crispy.
If you can splurge get the salted caramel milkshake. It comes in an old fashion cup and there is plenty to share.
Eating the burger and shake combo was the perfect balance of sweet and salty.
My tastebuds danced to the symphony.

Smash Burger makes a good burger. The fries are great as well.
We came here for a work lunch and had about 10 in our group. While they have good food, I don’t recommend this place for large groups. There just isn’t available seating for a group larger than 5 or 6. Luckily we found multiple tables and were able to make it work, but it was a pain to get our food to us and distributed to the correct person as we had to spread out a bit. The parking here is also atrocious from noon to about one thirty. This parking lot just isn’t big enough for all the people around here and it gets really packed during lunch time.
I didn’t pay for this meal, but I think that I can still give it a fair rating as I’ve ate at other Smash Burgers. The Smashfries are great. They are tossed in oil, rosemary and garlic, which seems to be quite the popular thing to toss fries in lately. I wish they had more types of sauce to dip them in though. They have ketchup at the table, but I find ketchup to be boring. I asked for a side of their chipotle mayo to dip my fries in and they were very accommodating and quickly had it to me.
I had a Spicy Jalapeño Baja burger. The jalepnos were very fresh and the burger was well made. The chipotle mayo was a good compliment to the rest of the burger, as was the pepper jack cheese. Guacamole was good and I dipped my leftover fries in the parts of it that fell off the burger. It took them a while to bring us out the food, but I don’t know what else you can expect with the lunch rush over there. Anywhere you go near here is going to be packed.
I also ordered a nutter butter shake. I asked for it to be in a soda cup with a lid on it, instead of in their traditional shake glass, because I didn’t want my co-​workers to be jealous. It came out as a to go shake cup, placed inside a red glass soda cup. Not really what I was going for, but we had a good laugh about it… until I realized I had a much smaller shake than other people because of how small the to go cup was compared to the regular cup they give it to you in. Oh well.
For a burger and fries you’re looking at around $ 8-​$ 9 pre-​tax. Add a drink or shake to that and you’re over $ 10 a person. It’s a good place, a little more expensive than other chains, but I think it’s a good value for what you get.
