Here for the Valentine’s dinner. Nice ambience. Decent wait staff. Appetizers were good. Main course was good. It was a chicken breast with white sweet potatoes. The desserts tasted like they were store bought. Not very good. They served a cupcake with pink cream that tasted like it came from Walmart. Not edible. For the price per plate, they could’ve done better. Torn between giving a 2 or 3. I’ve visited this resort since 2008 and I’ve noticed a decline on their food quality. However, the price keeps going up. Just an observation.

There were 5 weddings here the night we stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurant. Because of this it caused them to be short staffed and loud party music that rocked the entire dining area during the whole time during dinner. The food itself was below subpar. They allowed smoking on the patio which came over to the non smoking area and forced us inside. They had no local wine, we had the seafood linguine that tasted way too fishy, the mushroom risotto had more mushrooms than actual risotto, the chicken dish was dry, and there was no toilet paper in the women’s restroom. Not what you should expect or deserve for the price from a place that is a resort with an upper scale dress code. Avoid this place!

my boyfriend and I stayed the weekend at the Lansdowne Resort. it was nice. we had dinner at this restaurant Saturday night. the service and food was great. my bf had the strip lion. I had the chicken pal-something(I can’t recall) and we had the calamari and wings for appetizers. everything was cooked well. the steak and chicken were cooked perfectly. everything was delicious.
