Village Pizza & Seafood

There are several pizza places to choose from in the League City area, so needless to say this establishment wasn’t on my radar. Honestly I have driven by it several times, taking it only for a fly by night pizza place that was used only as a last resort.
Knowing the Judge-​Book-​Cover theory I should never have turned my nose up at this place. My wife and I had one of their Hawaiian pizzas delivered as well as a side of cheesy garlic bread and hushpuppies. Upon ordering they told us it would take up to 45 minutes for the food to be delivered. This is a pretty typical timeframe for our area. Surprisingly they were here within 30 minutes of placing the order. This is a big plus in our book.
The pizza had an optimal amount of toppings, was not drowning in grease, and was not overloaded with excessive pizza sauce. The pizza was very tasty and the toppings were of high quality. The cheesy bread is average, but we were expecting that. The hushpuppies, even though they are not your typical side with pizza, were surprisingly good. This place also has a seafood dishes, which I am open to trying in the future.
Bottom line– A good pizza that is worth bypassing any of the chain/​big box pizza establishments. I cannot speak to the inside dining or the customer service, but they people on the phone and the delivery driver were pleasant and friendly.

Some days good, some days horrible. No in between. They make mistakes all the time. on orders. Some days food is good some days it sucks.

We have loved this place for years and years, but seriously tonight they delivery man asked my husband if he liked dark humor and proceeded to tell him a masturbation joke. That’ll do it. Done with this place.

The pizza is really delicious. Once, when they accidentally added garlic to our order, we loved it so much, we now always get the pizza with garlic.

The food is really good, especially for the price. Their seafood is really good, and I especially love their fried shrimp and clams… This is not fancy, and their seafood platter for two is well worth it. Way more than two people can eat. My wife and I have been going there for almost 8 years.

Greasy, fried, bland seafood. Terrible marinara for the pasta dishes. The pizza is very good but it’s overpriced. The service is very polite, other than that, there’s not much good to say about this place.

Have been eating here for 17 years. They have a great menu with a variety of items. Their pizzas are great and are my wife’s personal favorite. I usually have a hot sandwich but the chicken or fish dinners are my favorite. Lots of food and always hot and fresh as everything is made to order. Really great food and I have never been disappointed. Service is always great! Highly recommended.

My husband and I tried to place an order on the phone and it was a huge fail! We wanted a shrimp and spinach pizza. The person taking the order said we couldn’t get that (isn’t this place a seafood place?!). So we said, ok plain spinach pizza. Again, we were told that they couldn’t do that either.
Umm ok.

I was concerned, stuck in a hotel with no food options outside of delivery. I went on Unilocal and found Village, I was skeptical, a place with seafood and pizza can’t be good right??? WRONG! The popcorn shrimp dinner is huge, the chicken Parmesan Sub is fantastic. If you’re stuck like me or just lazy and don’t want to drive call village.

Their delivery is wonderful! We are big fans of their family spaghetti and their lasagna. If you’re looking to try a different place tonight, this place is calling you.

I love this place. The food is far from. 5 star more like 2.5. But it’s close to the house, the ladies speak English… and I’m usually starving before I Make the final decision of all those with a little over belly. Mmmmmmmmm. I asked for ranch this time. They did backflips down the hall to mix up the secret recipe and send me on my way. I said attrrrrhhggghhg. I’m hungry. Feed me. They took my credit card. Slapped the pizza on the butt, gave it some encouragement in Spanish and took off VIVA LA PIZZA

You can eat there but its definitely more of a takeout place, speaking of the League City location on W Main. The pizza is some of the best in the area. My family also loves their cheesesteak sandwiches and the cheesecake. We mostly get delivery but we do pick up also. The only criticism I have of their pick up is that they give you a number over the phone and you have to remember it and tell it to them when you get their to get your order. Maybe it’s just me, but I always forget the darned number. It would make way more sense to just use your name. That aside, though, the food is excellent. I can’t speak for the seafood, though, because I’ve never tried it.

Love the delivery service and Village has a good variety of stuff to please anyone in our family. Excellent customer service, everyone is always very professional, kind, and knows what they’re doing. Definitely a family favorite.

I think of Village as a pizza place, but they also have sandwiches and an array of fried seafood as well. Since I don’t do seafood and love pizza, my only experience is with their pizza… and it is good!
I’m a big fan of pizza with as many toppings as possible and their 10 topping special is about as good as it gets. I have had a pizza or two that hasn’t quite been as good as they typically are, but my last pizza was the best I’ve had yet, so I’ll give them a pass.

I’ve eaten in a few times and home delivery a few other times. No complaints. Not as good as pizza king but we live out of the pk delivery range, so vp makes a good backup!

Two Words. Shrimp Po Boys. I like them here. Being from Galveston, these are good.
I heard Pizza is not bad either.

Good pizza and sub sandwiches at a cheap price. They’ll probably get your order wrong, especially with a sandwich so check it carefully.
