0 stars. Twice I’ve been through the line and ordered meat only by the pound and they want to charge you for a full dinner. Got a sandwich only and they wanted to charge for a plate. Got a small fry plate with obviously half the chicken of my spouses full chicken dinner plate and they tried to charge us the same To top it off they seemed annoyed when we asked them to correct it. Even management acted annoyed. Food is subpar compared to other local BBQ places. Come on, this is Texas. Management at this particular location is terrible. Stay far away.

I love Barbecue, and IF you do, you will absolutely like the one specific thing about Spring Creek BBQ. THEY give a choice regarding what kind of «cut» of brisket you want. Let me tell you — YOUWANTMARBLED — very meaty with just the right amount of fat to make it DELICIOUS!!! It might eventually kill you, but it is unbelievably tasty. Sides are simply wonderful — great pinto beans, cole slaw, potato salad, corn, etc. Hot fresh baked bread can only be described as taste sensation when brushed with butter. Seriously — this is as good as it gets if you truly love brisket barbecue. The price is right, for is great, what else do you want?

Love the BBQ here! Only downside is if you see that you are always running out of prime rib, why not order more? It’s 1pm on Sunday and we are walking in and it just became sold out… 3 times already back to back… The sides are delish such as the cream corn, corn on the cob and of course the Rudy beans! Love eating here when they have Prime…

OK think I’ve finally found the«Texas BBQ» everyone has raved abiut, we have been to 4 other locations and other than the Smokehouse BBQ station at work(yes our lunch options at Houston Methodist Medical Center Rocks!!) OK back to Spring Creek… yes this was some good BBQ, I only gave 4 stars bcz the side selections weren’t that awesome but my daughters hot French fries with her pulled pork sandwich were good and the Hot Fresh Baked Rolls were good and the guys came around to everyone table to ask if they wanted additional so that was nice! The staples though BBQ were great! Flavor meat, good sauce, juicy and tender meat!!! My 6yr old was able to get a kid plate with selection of 1 meat he chose ribs and it didn’t cost extra and the portions for all our meals were reasonable and the prices were nice also. Oh, did I mention the BBQ tastes pretty darn awesome and the sauce wasn’t bitter/tart it was just right! We will be back again, oh almost forgot the man said on Sundays you get a free side of Blue Bell Ice Cream!!! :-)

I had a chopped beef baked potato today… It was tender, and a huge portion! Very good, and the roll was excellent!

The meat(we had the brisket, turkey, and sausage) is flavorful, tender, and juicy. They have two types of sausage — peppered and mild; both were good. The usual sides(beans, potato salad, Coleslaw) are unlimited or you can upgrade your veggies to a baked potato or fries. They’re rolls are yummy and are also unlimited — they bring fresh ones to your table during the meal. Although they offer desserts for purchase, they have free ice cream as well. The sauce was not my favorite but it was good. We will return and I would recommend.

With a chain like this, you can expect the barbecue to be average(still better than Rudy’s, ugh). However, I’ve always appreciated the humble cafeteria style and unlimited sides.

We have been coming in for a long time. I have never seen chopped beef scooped up to put on a sandwich. I’m sure it saves time. Rolls are still hot and fresh. Potato is still big. Had to ask about desserts since none were out. Picked pecan

Everything was beyond average. This can not be what you call barbecue. Everything tasted really bland, the potato salad tastes very old, the corn didn’t have anything on it, and the bread was just decent. Maybe I’m being a little harsh but Rudy’s is definitely unbeatable compared to this place.

Barbecue was tender and tasty. Turkey was very tender but not much smoky taste. Fast service because you go through a serving line, get your food and find a table. You can serve the sides yourself so they say you can really pile it on your plate. So if you like the sides(typically, green beans, corn, mac n cheese, mixed veggies), there is no shortage here. Served with dinner rolls or cornbread. BBQ sauce was good.

–This was our second time going. –We weren’t impressed the first time but decided to give it another shot. –The meats were pretty good and the sauce. –There weren’t any rolls ready, but they looked good on other people’s plate. –The sides are awful and bland. –My wife got the sausage and meat plate and I got the ribs. –The prices seemed high, but good portions. Won’t be going back.

My favorite place for barbecue in the area. Love the brisket and turkey sausage. The smoked turkey is great too. Their mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve ever had and I consider myself a mac and cheese connoisseur. And the rolls! They’re delicious and there is always someone walking around offering you fresh ones. It’s always clean inside and all the employees are friendly and helpful.

We used the banquet room for a surprise birthday party. Manager Gus was very helpful and accommodating. He even greeted the birthday lady in the parking lot under the pretense of selling gift cards, then escorted her to the private area. The guest were so impressed with the food some ordered food to go for later, especially the ribs.

The food, more specifically every side, is always lukewarm or borderline cold. We’ve given them several chances since their grand opening and it’s always the same. Everything tastes watered down or mushy, and has no flavor.

Very casual, really good food. Buffet style, so I can take care of my own drink and no one bothers me. Fresh rolls are unlimited and delivered to the table. We’ll definitely be back.

Went here for a school fundraiser and it’s pretty much the worst bbq restaurant I’ve been to in Texas, food-wise. The staff was very friendly but the cafeteria-style food line is atrociously slow and the food itself was so, so bland. I can’t imagine ever returning here personally.

Don’t waste your time here. The food was cold and extremely bland. not even the corn had flavor. Bbq sauce was terrible and the brisket cold and tasteless.

This is a sort of cafeteria/dinner diner sit down place. Casual, slow with their food making, some people had to wait 15 – 20 minutes before their meal came. Even waited that long for salad dressing while they stared at their bowl. For me, I truly enjoyed the ribs. The potato salad not so much. Cole slaw is so far so good with my stomach/colon. The dinner rolls are excellent! Fresh and soft. If I come here I recommend sticking to the meats. Maybe okra, but the meats are served right away and you don’t need to wait long. Prices are excellent!!!

The service is cafeteria style, the prices are outrageous, and the food is unremarkable. The turkey tastes of lunch meat, the corn is bland, and the brisket is fatty. Go north on I-45 until you see«Rudy’s». Much better food for $ 20 less.

This place was overrated! Once you get your plate of meat, you grab your choice of sides in a cafeteria-line manner. The sides were decent and with the meal you get unlimited sides. I don’t recall the exact price for the 2 meat option but it was more than $ 10. I tried their ribs and brisket and they were on the dry side– I had to smother them with sauce in order to eat them. I was not impressed. There is also a server who walks around with hot rolls and those were pretty good – but the main focus of the meal was a disappointment. Since you’re in TX, there are a limitless number of places to get BBQ so I would definitely recommend going elsewhere. Food: 2 Value: 2 Service: 3 Overall: 2
